- Peter (8/5): This is a convenient place to stay with nice staff. - Close to my meeting. Good breakfast. Quiet. A little dated, but ok.
- Amber (10/5): -
- Katelyn (10/5): - Location downtown. Nothing.
- Jeanette (4/5): It was okay. - Breakfast was ok. It was clean and there was a limited variety of food. I was most disappointed in the children running up and down the stairs and hallways til 11:38 pm on Saturday night. Not the children’s’ fault but a parental issue that was ignored.
- Christopherson (4/5): - Friendly people Beds were small. No space in the bathroom to put your stuff.
- Beverly (9/5): - Breakfast was very good and staff was attentive, keeping the hot foods topped up and quickly cleaning any spills. The cleaning staff were excellent at their work and very helpful when we made requests. I liked the library very much. There was no one at reception when I arrived at about 3:00 P.M, so I waited for about 15 minutes. Three other groups lined up behind us in that time. However, when the lady did come to the desk, she was super-friendly and efficient
- Amy (7/5): -
- Gabriele (7/5): - Room was too hot.
- Ivy (5/5): -

- Sandy Eigler (10/5): - Everything about the hotel was great! The beds were very comfortable, good sized tv to sit back and relax with. The free breakfast was great! Lots to eat, scrambled eggs, sausages and side back, yogurts, , etc. The best i've seen yet! Staff was friendly. A great place to stay!
- loretta (8/5): -
- Philippe (8/5): - Clean, good breakfast, great staff
- Laura (6/5): -
- Melody (10/5): - We stayed only one night so can't speak to all the amenities offered by the hotel.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and adequate with two queen beds. The bathroom sink was cool (on-top-of-counter style) but there was a minimum of counter space to put our toiletries. The continental breakfast was a nice option. On the stairs in a couple places, the carpet seam was loose which could be a tripping hazard for some. I was happy that there was an elevator even though the Expedia site said there wasn't one.
- Bill (8/5): - Restaurant was good
- Kirby (6/5): - It’s an old hotel that has had some renovations but needs some work. Stair carpet lifting in areas that are unsafe. Many times no staff at front desk, have to ring bell and wait. Complimentary breakfast was very disappointing. Had room facing street, very noisy at night.
- David (10/5): - Great service
- David (10/5): - It’s a clean hotel. It’s not updated or anything special but it’s clean and comfortable and the staff are amazing.
- Amy (8/5): - Staff was very friendly, room was very clean. It indicates that there are three beds in the suite, however the third bed is a small leather futon.
- Misty (7/5): -
- fred (10/5): - Very comfortable, all is well
- Colemann (10/5): - The staff are the main reason we continue coming back. The entire team is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is always good. Strongly recommend.
- Fidelyn (10/5): - Check in was quick and easy. Staff at front desk is welcoming. The only issue was a stench in the stairs from the first floor up. I think something leaked into to carpet and maybe cleaning can’t take out the smell.
- Barbara Shaw-Ings (7/5): -
- Mangel (9/5): -
- Dennis (8/5): - It was convenient. Was a short walk to Vermilion Fair. Room was quiet and comfortable.
- DOUGLAS (10/5): - Accomodating staff.
- Roger (10/5): -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the restaurant was very good.
- Natasha (6/5): - The halls weee dated and had a gross musty smell.
They dont provide handsoap in the bathroom? You are wxpected to use the shower gel attached to the shower wall.
- Anne (6/5): Stay IN JUNE 2025 - Air conditioning very noisy
Bad lighting in the room … only lamps
TV couldn’t be any smaller … about 15”x 30”
Windows are dirty, dirty, filthy on the outside…haven’t been washed for years.
Elevator does not work
- Diane (8/5): - Breakfast, proprety, washing machine et good night
- Brian (8/5): - Clean room. The renovation was nicely finished. Work still in progress in common areas
- Leila (7/5): Good -
- Adam (8/5): - Thank you.
- Austin (6/5): - The property is a bit dated and very few amenities close to the hotel. Clean room and friendly staff.
- Marie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Crawford (7/5): Good -
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Bruce (8/5): - The room was clean and quiet.
The staff were very friendly and polite.
The ‘included free breakfast’ was rather disappointing, as everything was almost cold, even when the dishes were replenished right from the kitchen - the food was barely warm.
- Kelly (6/5): - Place is nice and clean! Staff is great! My only issue was at check cuz i forgot my cc and was using my husband's card but i didn't have the physical copy. So they had to emailed him to make sure i wasn't scamming anything
- Melissa (6/5): - The hotel has had some updates but I expected it to be better for the price we paid
- Jonathan (8/5): I’d stay here again - Staff was nice.
Place was clean Old rug
- Douglas (2/5): - No shower curtain, dirty bed linen, strange stains on ceiling, poor ventilation, lighting was dim and yellow. Felt like I went back to the 1970's. Totally gross. Left asap. Avoid.
- Billy (10/5): - It was good, staff was helpful
- Christina (10/5): - Incredibly clean!
- Emma (10/5): - Looks not great from the outside but inside, although a bit dated it is very quiet, very clean and randomly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on (including at hotels at twice the cost). Would definitely stay again.
- Megan (8/5): - All good
- Mike (9/5): Superb -
- Alexander (4/5): - Bad cooking smell in the entire hotel.
- Tina (6/5): - There is no elevator so when you’re on the 3 floor and your key doesn’t work, it’s so annoying as you have to climb the stairs twice! Also you’re connected to a bar so it gets loud hearing doors slam closed!
- Cecilia (8/5): - Friendly staff. Would stay again
- Bounting (5/5): Passable -
- Micheal (10/5): - Great staff
- Ronald (8/5): - It was all OK
- Roy (6/5): - It was a nice room. Parking is limited and sketchy.
- lomondindustrial (8/5): Stay here regularly for work, they have made significant improvements in the last few months - The renovations are looking amazing, still some work to do but the improvements are obvious and appreciated. The breakfast is a little lack luster but they have better coffee than the average hotel. The rooms look much better than you expect when you’re walking down the hallway.
- Philip (10/5): - Stayed here for our kids hockey tournament
Close to everything , nice pool
No issue
- Kristi (10/5): - The staff was friendly and very accommodating while they are doing renovations. Can’t wait to see the finished results will definitely be back again.
- Tara (6/5): - The king suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel was undergoing renovations so the sitting area of the lobby was taped off, the entrance and reception area floors were torn up and the elevator was out of service. Wish we would have known in advance and offered a discount on the stay.
- Jose Arcadio (10/5): - The staffs are helpful and friendly
- Chad (6/5): - Was a good breakfast.
- Andrea (10/5): - Very good
- Sydney (10/5): - We went to vermillion for an event and to say we were shocked how nice and clean the hotel was is an understatement! I would say they seemed to be newly renovated. The staff were so friendly and helpfull. We will definitely be staying there again in the future!
- Lisa (4/5): Poor Value, Older Dated Property - This is an old hotel with minimal upgrades. The value is horrible. I wasn’t able to redeem my hotels.com rewards. I paid over $155 for my room, and coupled with the fact I couldn’t redeem hotels.com rewards, really poor value for the property. The staff were friendly enough. I won’t stay here again when I’m in Vermillion.
- Kadence (10/5): - My stay was great! Unfortunately later in the evening my friend I was staying with ended up sick and needed some food, and the vending machine was not working; But a nice man at the front desk was able to help us out and give us some muffins to be sure she felt better. Staff at the front desk was amazing, would stay here again!
- Gary (6/5): - Someone should have let me know the elevator was not working. I have trouble with stairs. Also, the breakfast provided was substandard. The staff were great to deal with and did an awesome job.
- Selena (6/5): - Ita a clean place to stay, The beds are comfy. The rooms are a good size and bathrooms were nice ! Parking isn’t the best but overall it’s a good place to stay
- Kristoffer (6/5): - There is a train yard by the property that was quite noisy
- Jason (7/5): Good -
- Pat (6/5): - Great location and very nice staff. And exceptionally clean.
- Norma (8/5): - Sorry the elevator wasn’t working. Good breakfast - excellent location.
- Dustin (7/5): Friendly staff,Good location and clean - Pub / restaurant seemed to close early and the elevator was non functional
- Crystal (6/5): - Hardly any staff on. Walls must be thin- heard everything in the halls
- Gil (6/5): - Free breakfast had good selection but food was luke warm
- David (6/5): - Parking was not great as there is no parking at entrance if restaurant is busy.
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (8/5): Very good - good choices for catching a quick breakfast.
- Jaclyn (1/5): Do not recommend and sad to see Days Inn attached to it . Will NOT stay again - It was clean Pillows were terrible flat and cheap , beds felt very old and springy the bathroom Renovation was not thought out , no counters to put any of my stuff on and the door blocked the toilet , shower curtain was closed fully and still a flooded bathroom after a 5 minute shower, towels were so small could barely cover my hair . No staff to be found upon check in and no bell to call them the lady had no clue how to charge my deposit and she couldn’t produce a recipe upon check out ( yes it was the same lady both days ) parking was minimal and tight for my work truck . I stay in hotels 75% of the year and this is my first bad review in my 19
Years at this job
- Rose (10/5): - Great staff
- Gail (8/5): Very good - It is quiet and close to our meeting place. It is quite dated. Ceiling and walls need painting. The elevator was not working which made it difficult for my older friends
- Terry (10/5): - Front desk staff were very nice
- J6950ZNkathys (10/5): Great Stay - Had a great stay at the Wyndham Vermilion. On site restaurant very convenient for late supper, also hot breakfast and operating hours worked great for my schedule. Liked how the room had soap dispensers, not packaged soap; very progressive. Friendly staff.
- JOYCE (8/5): - Hotel was right downtown, easy to access.
- Karen (8/5): - Stayed there for a wedding.
- corycZ7893NZ (2/5): Worth driving further to avoid this place. - By FAR the worst customer service I have experienced. Where do I start.
1. At check in the lady at front desk got mad at my wife because she was having issues READING OUR ONLINE BOOKING so she literally walked away and left my wife standing in the lobby trying to check in for 15 more mins before someone else came to check us in.
2. The old man who we THINK works here was very rude when asked about laundry facilities but seemed to have all the knowledge. He was going behind front desk so we assumed he worked here. But may be wrong
3.ordered food that was clearly not finished by the cooks as my bulgogi beef had NO SAUCE and was covered with sesame oil and that’s all.
4.the old man “ working” stood outside the front doors coughing up a storm creating his own puddle of phlegm just feet from the doors and was creeping in people vehicles every time I went out for a smoke.
5. Morning only had one staff member doing 3 jobs and has zero support from other staff as a result the included breakfast to our stay was a bust, cold food, running out of everything and coffee ran out the min we sat down. NOTE the woman working solo this morning was doing her very best and was probably the most valuable employee working here.
6. Broken elevator, the clerk said someone would come to help us pack in all of our stuff due to the broken elevator but no one came at all.
Never again will we ever stay here, after driving 14 hours across Canada I would have gladly drove another 4 hours just to stay some place else. I’m really shocked that this is a Days inn I thought the brand name had certain standards but this hotel doesn’t abide by any of those so called standards
- Bill (10/5): - Outside appearance is deceiving. Building looks old but inside is modern, very clean and staff are very friendly and prompt.
Would stay here again.
- Amanda (10/5): - It was nice and centered in town
- Leonardo (8/5): - Nice stay, the only comment i can say is the parking spot is minimal. shower drain too slow.
- Philip (10/5): Very nice room, but no EV charger. - It was the nicest room I stayed at during my cross-Canada road trip. My only complaint is that there was no EV charging.
- Richard (4/5): - no elevator
- Brendyn (2/5): What a dump do not recommend - Nothing Everything about it was a shit hole
- Reimer (6/5): Nice hotel with broken elevator. - Stay was good. Nice room friendly staff, good breakfast. But two BAD things elevator was broken, had been broken for 3 months (waiting for parts). Had to walk up 2 long flights of stairs, very painful for my wife who has bad knees. No parking ! We arrived about 9 PM. Parking lot was full. Parking on street in front of hotel was full. Ended up parking in a weird spot in the back lane. Fortunately our car was OK.
- Scott (7/5): Good -
- Albert (10/5): - No elevators
