• bruce (10/5): Comfort, luxe, rust. Genoten! - Oase van rust, super comfortabele kamers, prachtige plek. Luxe en rust. Goeie plek om de bergen te gaan onderzoeken met de motor. Kwamen niets tekort! Was ultra rustig, voor de mensen die reuring zoeken misschien niet je van het. Maar t was echt prachtige kamer, slaapkamers, badkamers en groot balkon met uitzicht. Fantastisch!

• alpha (9/5): beautiful nature retreat - beautiful location in nature, good for exploring nature in local area as well. lovely pool looking out onto the lake. we stayed in a hut and had a private fridge and kettle which was really helpful. toiletries provided and shower was good. staff very friendly unfortunately jacuzzi was not working when we were there which was a shame. there also wasn’t really any comfortable seating, we had a bench on our balcony but not good for sitting at for a long time. the food at the restaurant on site was pretty average, not much flavour

Restaurangen var aldrig öppen, så måsta ta mig iväg längre sträckor för att äta. Ingen cykeluthyrning pga att den enda dom hade var sönder. Dåligt upplyst och endast wifi på vissa platser.

• Kévin (9/5): Un véritable havre de paix entouré de verdure, parfait pour se détendre. - Le cadre naturel est magnifique : entouré de verdure, avec le bruit apaisant des animaux et une atmosphère vraiment relaxante. La chambre est spacieuse, avec une très grande baignoire idéale pour se détendre. L’ambiance générale du village est reposante, parfaite pour un séjour relax et loin du bruit de la ville. Le personnel est très aimable et toujours aux petits soins, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. 😝 Le seul point négatif est l’emplacement, qui peut être compliqué d’accès pour les taxis et rend les sorties en ville un peu moins pratiques.

• Dalma (10/5): Mucho mejor de lo que esperábamos - El hotel fue una sorpresa porque fue mucho mejor de lo que imaginamos…la cabaña muy cómoda y bien distribuida, limpia, con unas vistas al bosque espectaculares. No tuvimos problemas con los mosquitos y la piscina muy linda con vista a un pequeño lago… Usamos el servicio de lavandería, el restaurante muy bueno también y buenos precios… La ubicación un poco lejos de Chiang Mai pero fuera del bullicio de la ciudad y se llega bien en grab. Totalmente recomendado Quizás el tema de que todo el mundo habla poco inglés pero es general en Tailandia.

• Amira (3/5): A beautiful room in need of repair.Room smelled musty, large black mould patches in the bathroom. - The location was great. Not too far from the city but quiet. The room smelled musty straight upon entering. In the bathroom was large patches of black mould. This is very unhealthy. I awoke with congested sinuses and felt ill. The musty smell pervaded. Also, a day spa with massage was advertised. As well as nice restaurant. Upon check in I asked about the massage. The man looked at me confused. I said Sabbai? (Massage in Thai) and he said none. False advertising on their website and listings. He spoke almost no English and couldn't understand my questions, but was friendly. Which was surprising for a resort that was built for international travelers. We went to the restaurant and were handed an iPad to order from. After hours of being on a phone screen for navigation the last thing I wanted to do was look at a screen. My husband tried to navigate it. Was very difficult. I asked if they had a paper menu. The waitress also spoke almost no English. She used a translator app. When I told her we have no Gluten, Dairy or MSG on the app, she said we can't eat there. There was no sign of a kitchen anywhere. And I even wondered if they ordered the food from elsewhere and had it delivered. We had to drive out after an already long day of driving to get food elsewhere. The place looked like it was amazing once upon a time, but had fallen into neglect. For the price, the mouldy, musty room was inappropriate. It was a beautiful space, but felt very unhealthy. And the grounds were splended but obviously neglected. We wouldn't recommend this accommodation to anyone based on the unhealthy mouldy, musty condition.

• Luke (1/5): Stay was awful. Couldn’t wait to leave. We called reception many times but no one answered us. - Not much to like about the property. Property was dirty with bugs all over the beds. Both of us got bites all over our body. I had to sleep with leggings and a jumper and socks as the mattresses are on the floor. There was a caterpillar on my pillow right after check in as well as other bugs around the room. The bathroom is not clean. I did not shower as I did not feel comfortable.

The hotel surrounding not well maintain, probably due to huge area and not many visitor during my visit. Some garden area full with dry leaf.

The way the cabin was set in nature was absolutely beautiful. Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of nature and lions.

• Emmerson (7/5): It was nice for a coupe of days to do nothing and hide in the jungle. It was a good springboard for the rest of our trip - It was very private, clean and in low season we basically had the place to ourselves. No gym, no food, no coffee. Although everything needed was nearby. It was low season so other than the room there wasn’t much on offer.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - The mountain villa was unique and peaceful. It was hard to get the room cool though because even with the ac running full blast during the hot months the air seeped in through the cracks in the doors.
• Janine (8/5): Family friendly - Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was delicious though the only alcohol we could order was beer or wine that was sitting out in the heat. It would have been good to have some of the other drinks on the menu available like cocktails and spirits. The location was very convenient to so many attractions yet off the main road. Our children enjoyed the access to bikes and the tracks around the property. They also visited the small farm and rode the ponies.
• Amy (4/5): - The nature surrounding the property was nice, but otherwise this was a disappointing experience. The property was about a 30 minute drive to the center of town, with no shuttle services offered. The dinner we had one night was nice, although a little overpriced. The breakfast was not good though and was 250B per person. It was a set menu but took forever to serve, and each "course" was pretty bad. The coffee shop at the bottom of the hill was more reasonably priced and better quality, but this is only open until around 5pm and then there is nothing else around. The villa we stayed in was a little old, but acceptable quality for staying in the forest. It had ants and some mosquitoes but not terrible. The weird thing was there was no back up roll of toilet paper, and 2 out of the 4 days we stayed, when they made up the room, they didn't even replace the one roll we had, so we had no toilet paper at all. We did not get any massage. I do not remember the price exactly but I think it was around US$60, which is ridiculous for Thailand. Overall, the stay was not terrible, but got strange vibes and some things seemed "off."

I was alone for 2 nights & the last night of my stay my friend joined me. The restaurant was nice, the food last night we ordered were not so warm or hot enough to be new, I guessed. But i like the surroundings & the atmosphere of the resort. Staff were friendly and nice.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Peaceful Getaway - Jirung Spa and Health Resort is an amazing escape from the city. It is right in the green of the mountain and is very peaceful. They offered many different ways to relax including a balcony, a pool, hot tub, spa, and cute farm animals. We felt totally at peace from the moment we arrived.
• Tom (4/5): Didn’t meet expectations - Food in the restaurant wasn’t good. The forest hut was nice but the noise from the bar went on until past midnight and made sleeping impossible. Outdoor pool was turned off and freezing cold. Quite far from Chiang Mai - about 40 minutes.
• Kiki (6/5): ファミリータイプのメインビルは大変良いが、ビラは最悪。 - ビラを予約していましたが、あまりの状態の悪さのため２泊目からはメインビルのファミリータイプのお部屋に移りました。。ビラは湿気とカビ臭さと埃っぽさでとても寝れる環境では有りませんでした。古いせいかもしれませんが、昔の日本の山小屋レベルでした。とてもビラと呼べるレベルでは無く、オススメしません。ただメインビルは古いですが、清潔でお掃除も行き届いており、施設も素朴ですが、素晴らしい環境を保っていると思います。メインビルのお部屋は２ベッドルームのファミリータイプなので、料金も倍になりカップル向きではありませんが、ファミリーにはお薦めです。交通手段は自分で段取りをつける方が良いと思います。

• Prissana (6/5): Lovely villa - Villa we stayed was very lovely. Bigger and better than what we expected. Turndown service was very impressive, love the aromatic smell they provided! Main building was a bit too old unlike in picture.
• Ilocano York (10/5): Close to Natural Attractions - The hotel was our starting point for our hike and falls hunt and it didn't disappoint. Around it were natural attractions and other manmade parks for animals. The hotel has a lot of activities to offer and my favorite was biking around the big property of the hotel. Since it was so lush, one night I saw a snake on the roads which I think is a good sign that a great ecosystem has been created around the area that supports wildlife. The only thing I don't like about this hotel is a lot of residential homes around it that has noisy dogs at night.
• Stephen (8/5): Very nice, worth the price - Our family of four (with one friend tagging along) had plenty of room in the suite. The rooms were very large, and a deck/terrace to view the surrounding mountains (not in view b/c of it being March/April when they are burning). The weather was very hot (104/40+), but the a/c's (4 units thruout) worked great and kept the suite cool. The master bath is very roomy with a decent tub. The facilities are getting to be a little dated and rundown. The rooms are simple, but nice, not overly fancy, which is why we had a good rate ($65/night) during the Songkran week. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The pool is nice and overlooks the small pond below. There is a nice little coffee shop/restaurant down the hill with some animals for the kids to enjoy- a couple of buffaloes and small horses. The well-known Tiger Kingdom and Poo Poo Paper place are just next door and many other popular tourist spots. The Thai food is quite good, but the western lunches are not that satisfying. Breakfast was included and is quite good with Asian selections and typical western choices. All this said, we very much enjoyed ourselves at Jirung and plan to return.
• Nikki (10/5): Excellent place for relaxing stay - Booked a mountain villa and it was fantastic. Right next to a waterfall and it felt like you were in the middle of a jungle. Could hear tigers roaring from the nearby Tiger Kingdom. Had a three night stay here to relax before heading into Chiang Mai. Not a lot to do but we just enjoyed walking around the grounds. There is a lovely coffee shop - full of local people all dressed up nicely. The hotel food is really good and really reasonable. We ate all three nights in the restaurant and had lovely food.
