• Rebecca (10/5): Everything was so much better than I expected - Surprised by the cost at first but it’s summer & high season for vacationers, heading into a weekend and Campbellford Fair had just opened across the street. But when I arrived I was very satisfied with everything. I’d stay there again but not in a high season.

Online & th - Was great for what we needed, great location & clean Rooms were small, longer than 1 or 2 nights would have been difficult. Booking.com said check out was 11am but when you get there check out is actually 10:30am. Only 2 towels in the room but yet it sleeps 4 people
• Kelly (8/5): It was a pleasant stay at Motel 6 in Campbellford. It is quiet, friendly and the scenery was wonderful. - We stayed the first weekend of December with snowfall. Can’t say much but the view in the morning was still beautiful. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and informative. He told about a place to eat and we were not disappointed at all. The food was good and affordable. We would definitely stay there again.
• Brooks (7/5): - All in all it was a good experience for one night. It has a wonderful view of the river and has a patio area. There is also a swimming pool, however we were not able to enjoy most of these things because it was quite cold when we went. My only real complaint was the bed, I didn't find it too comfortable, but I may just be a picky sleeper 😂

• Wendy (2/5): - Management has zero compassion or understanding. Booked in haste (at 8:20pm) as I was trying to get to a close relative who had very little time to live. She died before we even got half way to Campbellford. Despite my grief I phone the hotel to let them know we would not be checking and asked if they could see their way to providing a refund. Was told only hotels.com could authorize that. When hotels.com contacted the Motel they refused to provide a refund. Guaranteed I will never stay at Motel 6 in Campbellford, ever. Disappointing to not be afforded any compassion or good will in a terrible time.

The shower had plenty of water pressure and hot water. The location on the river is fabulous and I was able to kayak directly from the dock. I would have liked to take more advantage of the grounds, as they had nice places to sit, a fire pit and a pool. Maybe next time. Like most motels, it had thin walls and sounds could be heard between rooms.

The backyard was lovely, with decks, a fireplace, a small basketball area, and a playground that the kids really enjoyed. It was a very relaxing space with a beautiful view of the river right from our room. The room itself was spotless, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall, it’s a perfect spot for a family weekend getaway or a friends’ gathering. Highly recommended ! Viktoria

The beds were comfortable. We liked that our room overlooked the Trent Rivrr..In fact, all rooms overlooked the Trent River. At night there was quiet in.the motel..Quiet hours were visibly posted..This made for restful sleeping. There was an unheated outdoor pool which we took abvantage of. Perhaps the gate should be locked when not in use to.prevent unsupervisedchildren or non- swimmers from entering and falling into the pool..

• kimberly (10/5): - The owners are very nice rooms are extremely clean....i enjoy the family suite thats what i book all the time....little pricey for being out of toronto comparables ..right on the water wich is peaceful unfortunately the pool is not little kid friendly as theres no stairs to get in and out or myself with that has difficulty walking...but ill take cleanliness and great staff anytime

If we were staying longer, we would have made use of the full-sized bar fridge/freezer and microwave: great bonuses! There was a bit of a gap under the door, so we could smell the cigarette smoke from someone smoking outside.

• William (2/5): - Booked a room with a King Bed, got a room with two doubles. Prices are unreasonable based on the quality of the rooms. GTA prices of an upscale hotel for a motel that looks like it rents by the hour. Supposedly renovated recently, but the Reno’s were done on the cheap, by someone who didn’t know what they were doing. We slept with our cloths on… Unfortunately, we were stuck to to choose this as options are limited. First and only stay here.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Disgusting - Booked the Rivers Inn in Campbellford using Hotels.com for one room, two adults for one night. Price was $170.00 but when we checked in the price was $190.00. We are two female seniors who didn’t want to get into a confrontation with the front desk so we let it go. When I was going to bed & pulled back the bed sheets there was a huge disgusting stain on them. We asked the front desk to have the bedding exchanged & he then proceeded to blame us for the stain. This manager was a piece of work & should never work in the hospitality industry. You don’t treat seniors like that, especially women. The room, beside the bed stains was noisy, we could hear the people above us talking, walking around, running water & flushing the toilet.The room was not clean & the bathroom was missing the towel bar & the bathroom door would not close completely so there was no privacy. I would not recommend anyone to stay at the Rivers Inn in Campbellford, it is disgusting, outdated, dirty & management is so angry & rude that it will make for a very uncomfortable stay especially for two female seniors travelling alone.
• Denis R A (6/5): - Not sure what other people expect for near two hundred a night but this place sure fell short of ours. After the wedding, that ended early, we didn’t want to return to the room. The sitting are outside the room had a chair and astray full of cigarette buts. The bathroom sink looked like it would come off the wall and the bathtub had mold bits. The beds were comfortable but the floors creaked badly.

The suites are newly renovated and clean. Lovely quiet place and right on the trent river. Looking forward to coming back.

• Kassandra (10/5): Hidden gem - We have stayed here a few times now and we very much enjoyed our stays. The rooms are a little smaller than average but the beds are comfy, everything is very clean. We have such a good sleep at this place, it is very quiet. Night to have a mini fridge and microwave in the room. They are a nice BBQ to use, the owner even came and changed the propane when we ran out cooking dinner. The pool is a nice option, or you could swim or fish in the river. They also have a fire pit for an evening fire by the river. We will definitely be retuning

• Jennifer (10/5): Clean and cozy with a beautiful view - When we entered late in the evening the owner met us quickly at the office. He was very friendly. There was a fair going on across the street. The walls are thin and we could hear people in other rooms but we turned on the air conditioner and fell asleep with no problem. Waking up to the river view and sitting on the patio was nice. It is a motel but truly the cleanest and comfiest motel we’ve stayed in. It was just my daughter and I and we felt safe.

We could hear everything going on in the room next to us, the lady was drunk and kept yelling and then asking us to go buy her liquor. She finally went on her own .

This small family owned motel is definitely a hidden gem, the husband and wife team that own this property definitely take pride and care in their property. The views are breathtaking on the beautiful river where you can drop a line from the dock or sit and watch the boats go by. They have outdoor cooking area completed with a bbq for guests use, there is a beautiful gazebo with plenty of seating and then the FIREPIT… OMG we didn’t use it this time but definitely will for our next visit… the room was VERY CLEAN, I swear no dust bunnies 🐰 anywhere, equipped with a small fridge microwave and coffee maker. The room was a bit on the smaller side but hey how much time do you actually spend in there and it was clean!! This cute little gem also has a pool where you can cool 😎 off. I’m super impressed with this property and the owners were so nice 😊 I can’t wait to go back… see you in September.. (maybe sooner 😊😊)
