• Maria (10/5): Siamo stati benissimo, ci torneremo sicuramente - Tutto, personale gentilissimo, i ragazzi che puliscono la stanza super attenti e gentili. Il secondo giorno ci hanno fatto una sorpresa a nostro figlio un elefante fatto di asciugamani molto apprezzato. Buffet gratuito con tisane, acqua, caffè e biscotti molto apprezzato. Posizione centralissima e camere spaziose Nulla, tutto perfetto.

Camera si baia au fost foarte curate Fiind in centrul istoric a fost multa galagie din exteriorul cladirii.

They also have A/C, do it was more or less OK During spring it was a bit too chilly. There was a problem with hot water, but they fixed it quite fast.

It also has s magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. the weather was rainy but we cannot control this.

• Susan (9/5): We would definitely stay here again! - This B&B is perfect for a nice stay in Tropea. It is perfectly situated in town off the main road. The room was clean & comfortable with air conditioning. There is a nice communal area with a shared fridge.

• Mario (8/5): Recommended for couples but for families I would recommend to get a bigger room a bigger room in a hotel, which is easie - Very central, charming and if you are looking to experience Tropea to the full I highly recommend, super clean, amazing shower, small kitchen with free coffee pods We stayed in the small house which is separate from the B&B - Small double beds, the room is smaller that what you see in the pictures, if you have small kids the stairs to the beds are a bit unsafe, not easily accessible if you come by car, can be noisy at night as live music for the restaurants is next to your window. Parking offered was a bit far away

We were traveling with our family for the first time abroad and wanted everything to be perfect and they helped us to choose our rooms and book things. We stayed in two rooms, the one for three people was outside of the hotel and we didn’t anticipated it would be busy at night with the restaurant right outside. The stairs in the room were also a little challenging.

The room we stayed in was very bright and clean with everything we needed. Our host was very attentive, helped us with parking and even allowed us to do an ealier check-in which was great. We would recommend S’O smart Tropea without a doubt!

• Andrew (3/5): Honestly I wouldn’t recommend to friends or return to this place - Was central Room number 2 smelled like smoke there was no where to hang stuff after the beach there was no closet for clothes or anything water pressure was bad lack of hot water in all 3 rooms. Room 3 was the same experience and Room 4 was the best room other than the smell of bleach. We ran out of coffee by the second day and wasn’t refilled also. The only contact we had with staff was through what’s app nobody on site.

• Berns (3/5): Tropea is nice and the location was great but we had some concerns with the stay. - The location was great and the room did have AC. It was clean. The “breakfast” is bad espresso from a machine and grocery store cookies. The room smelled like cigarettes. The water was cold from the second day on and the AC stopped working too due to power outages. A major concern is that every day we left during the day, someone entered the room, presumably for cleaning, but always left the door unlocked. The host was not prompt in letting us know the room was ready and we waited several hours. There were no washer/dryer for laundry.

If you have large luggage, getting it to the room is difficult. There is a restricted driving area in Tropea. We carried it a little far as we got dropped off in the wrong location. If you can get dropped off near the church, taking the luggage is a little more manageable, we learnt the hard way. The host was great as he organised our pick up from this spot.

There is no mini fridge in the room which I missed having. The common room had this but it was shared amongst 5 rooms. The fridge was too small and we couldn’t keep our own water in the fridge.

• Nele (10/5): Perfect stay in Tropea!!! Highly recommend!!! - Everything!!! We had an amazing stay here. We booked the duplex suite as a family of 4. (Kids aged 11 and 12). The room was as in the pictures - spotless clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. There is a shared lobby where we were welcomed with coffee, water and cakes. Check-in & check-out process was super smooth. Oscar is the most amazing host - he helped us with a parking space and how to find the hotel since it is in a pedestrian area. His communication was perfect and he was always available. The location is ideal: a 5 minute walk from the beach (there are even beach umbrella’s in the lobby you can borrow - so thoughtful) and 1 minute walk to the city centre full of amazing restaurants, shops and bars. Breakfast is served in a restaurant just around the corner and serves everything you need to spend a great day in Tropea. I would highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Tropea! Nothing - just that our stay was too short 😉

Only three rooms/rentals so very small. Serice was very friendly and accommodating, we liked that. Nothing.. We were there to spend our days on the beach not in our room, so we had what we wanted/needed.

• Malin Charlotte (10/5): Unique family experience in old town Tropea - We have had a wonderful and unique experience in Tropea with the lovely hostess and host helping us with everything including lost luggage. Our room was beautifully decorated and the beds gave us a good night's sleep. The foajé offered extra space when needed including self service for coffee and tea.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Really a great little place in a cool town. Just did a 1 night stay on the way from Naples to Catania via Almafi Coast. Could have stayed longer. Pet friendly. Located in the historic center, off site parking is required. The car was safe in an underground garage and it was a short walk, accompanied by host Rosa. Be sure to communicate your need for parking ahead of time as there were only a handful of spots at the garage we used. On-site; street access door (Key #1) opened to an entry courtyard. From the courtyard you enter the B&B (Key #2). Once inside, there is a communal dining area with a larger TV, mini fridge stocked with bottled water, and a small bar. This is the access point to the individual rooms (Key #3), each with an AC unit, TV and private bathroom. Our room was very clean, AC cooled it nicely, had high ceilings, a larger double bed and a twin. Apparently Tropea is a preferred beach getaway place for many northern Italians (or so we were told). Ideal for couples or anyone traveling with a group.
