The room was poorly maintained and didn’t feel clean however the balcony chairs were amazing and watching the wildlife from our balcony was a highlight. Staff really helpful. Would I stay there again - no, but it was cheap!
• Robert (10/5): Cheap and perfect - The place is exelent as a backpackers stay cheap and a walking distance from the beach and restaurants of all choices There is a bar in the lodge were they serve good drinks and put lovely music good ambience. I advice you to book the air conditioning room or els you are in for a very hot night sleep.The owner and staff are very helpful
• TOMIE (4/5): - 2023年12月29日から1月3日宿泊しました。必須のキッチン付きを検索、しかし、部屋に入ると、キッチンはありません。がっくり。希望のキッチンがない、写真と違うとクレーム、しかしハウスにあるからの一点張りでした。キッチン付きはないかと尋ねて交渉の結果料金の上乗せにて似て、部屋を交換とてもきれいとは言えませんが、とりあえずガスキッチンありリビングとベッドルームでひろい。年末の大掃除をここでするかと思う、窓枠の汚さ、タオルケットに穴が開いていました。日本では考えられないです。しかし、スタッフの対応と笑顔、チェナンビーチとお店に近いので、立地は良好で、また行きたい気分もありの気分です。

• Diana (10/5): - It was the best accommodation in Langkawi island. Many good and cheap restaurants locate near the lodge. Room is comfortable and clean. Distance to the beach only 5-7 minutes by walk.
• Juuso (8/5): Mukava vierailu - Perussiisti bungalowi. Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta. Aamupala oli aika turha ottaa, se oli vain 2 paistettua kananmunaa, 2 kanamakkaraa ja kuppi kahvia. Midän hyttysverkossa oli suhteellisen paljon reikiä.
• Chandler (8/5): Good price and close to the beach - The hotel is very close to the beach and lots of places in a very popular area. We had our own cabin, which was a pleasant surprise, and it made it feel a bit like glamping. The cabin was big, however dated and not very homey. We had an AC unit in the room which was nice, but found it hard to sleep on the bed. The location was wonderful and for the price it was pretty decent.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - ランカウイは今回で5回目で、レインボーロッジは初めての宿泊でしたが、大満足です。 場所的には、パンタイチェナンのメインストリートからちょっと路地を入った所ですが、 夜はメインストリートと違い、静寂な聖域感が漂っていてとても良いです。 それと、木曜日には歩いてすぐの所でナイトマーケット が開催されます。 ロッジには、ローカルのスタッフと日本人スタッフがいて皆んなフレンドリーで、日本人のスタッフの方は色々と情報を提供してくれし、日本語でレンタル系やオプショナルツアーなども申し込めるので相談してみて下さい。
• Quinta (10/5): - great and safe area. walking distance from main beach street, and they rent scooters in case you would like to travel quicker and farther. staff were lovely and always smiling. Cute little hammocks out front and the rooms were spacious, AC worked great and there's a lovely cafe down the road (Kasbah). Beautiful property and was nice and quiet, the lot also seemed to be maintained fairly meticulously. Only downside was our sheets were actually just a blanket, however with the heat you don't really need one anyways. Enjoyed our stay!

• Verified traveler (10/5): Super! - Rainbow Lodge is a budget accommodation. It is excellent for it’s price. Hot water, AC, clean, tours and scooters can be booked directly through them as well. The beds and pillows aren’t 5-star but I slept fine.

• Norbert (6/5): Je n'y retournerai pas - Chambres et appartements, proches de la rue animée mais au calme, à 2miin à pieds de la plage. Sauf que c'est la plage la moins agréable de l'île, complètement polluée par les scooters de mer, parachutes ascensionnels et j'en passe.. Assez bruyant car c'est assez grands (beaucoup de chambres et bungalows) Option petit déjeuner à éviter, très cher et vraiment pas bon. Il y en a des très bon juste à côté. La patronne très sympathique mais pas concilliante n'a pas voulu nous louer un scooter (avions oublié notre permis, inutile en Asie pour louer ce genre de véhicules), nous l'avons dinc loué à côté. Je pense que pour le prix il y a mieux ailleurs.
• Mark (8/5): Noisy Neighbours! - We were happy with our stay overall. The bungalow was nice if a little basic but that is what you expect with this type of accomodation. Staff were lovely and it was great to relax on our veranda which had a hammock. Unfortunately our stay was tainted by our noisy neighbours who were making noise right outside our bungalow till 3am one day and 5am the next. Even after asking them to keep it down the the first night we were ignored a had the same the next night. The property and staff were not at fault in any way however as the walls are so thin if you have inconsiderate people next door you will not sleep

• Masako (8/5): のどかなホテル - 朝早く着きましたが、すぐにチェックインして部屋に通してくれました。 スタッフはフレンドリーで親切でした。 日本人スタッフもいるとのことでしたが、残念ながら私は滞在中お会いできませんでした。 周囲はのどかな雰囲気で、部屋は南国風の雰囲気、床はピカピカで綺麗でした。 ビーチまですぐではないですが、歩いて行けるのもよかったです。 アメニティは石鹸だけ、タオルはバスタオルだけですが、バスタオルがふかふかで気持ちよかったです。

On a louer une voiture 80 rm (15 €) par jour , fait du bateau activité du rainbow a 30 rm( 7€) fantastique , nombreuses attractions village oriental téléphérique sa c'est les bons points par contre l'argent va trop vite tout est fait pour dépenser en Malaisie en général et j'ai attraper des petits boutons du peu etre au lit bref séjour magnifique je recommande vivement !

Pour pouvoir être avec les gens du pays et profiter du lieu, l’endroit est parfait. Les gens sont accueillants.

Though it's not 5 star comfort, for the price it's value for money. If driving, might hv difficulties finding the place along small roads.

• Jules (10/5): Book this one and you'll not regret it! - I cannot think of anything bad to say about Rainbow Lodge! Location quiet but only a few minutes' walk from the main street. Very green outlook to the rooms as it has fields on two sides. Staff helpful and friendly with a very good restaurant on site - great atmosphere and one of the few small hotel restaurants I have ever seen full of people! We stayed in a studio house and it had everything we needed - a good size bedroom / living room, a mini kitchenette with fridge, toaster and kettle & a good sized bathroom with hot shower.

The service from the guys was great throughout my stay they were very friendly and helped with the best places to see in Langkawi. Its a 5 minute walk from the beach and main strip but secluded enough to not get the noise from the main road. For the price you pay, you just can’t go wrong

• YONGHAO (8/5): Basic accommodation near beach - Near to beach, street food and convenient shop. Nice padi field just behind the guest house.
• apollo (6/5): Nice experience in a traditional Malay house - Short stay for us but a very good experience especially for our kids. The family room we had was a stand alone traditional Malay house on stilts with its back overlooking a paddy field. Room was clean and neat. Except for the common area for food, there are no facilities. Great location, about 7 minutes' walk to the main road along Pantai Cenang.

• Nora (8/5): Cheap convenient and clean. Would come back - Great location, 5 min walk from the beach and main street. The complex has a cool hippie vibe to it. Great for price. Not the newest or fanciest room but you likely won't be spending much time inside anyways.

• J (8/5): Value place to stay - Overall clean place, staff quite friendly. Standard Fan Room with bathroom is good for the money, but no table or cupboard in the room is annoying. Nowhere to put your stuff.
• Nikola (6/5): Spacious but a bit dangerous - There's a lot of space for a family but the kitchen isn't really for cooking just tea and toast. Our first day we were both electrocuted by faulty wiring connecting the toaster and so had a lot of fuss in trying to solve this problem. Using one outlet short circuited the building. We were then moved to a safer abode though are arms were still trembling! The garden view is not a garden just a gravel path. It's ok for the price....and the food in their cafe is good.

• Sagrario (10/5): Great value for money you pay - This was a basic cozy room very nice located. The staff was really helpful and let us check out late since there was a storm on the day we were leaving. The room was basic but very spacious and cleaned. The wifi was one of the fastest we've had in Malaysia which was nice in stormy days when all we can do was stay in and watch movies. Overall great stay.

• Bogdan (4/5): Avoid if possible - We would definitely no recommend this hotel, unless money is the absolute priority for you. Cause for few more bucks you can find way better hotels nearby. The bed was awful (uncomfortable and dirty), towels were like 30 years old (my grandma uses such on her dog), no hot water in the shower, no shelves (not even simple ones). So you're getting an empty room with a bed, that's it.
• Theresa (10/5): Good budget place to stay - Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Good clean facilities with very helpful staff. The fan rooms stayed too hot all night during the current heat wave.

• Mart (8/5): 5 minute walk to beach in quiet area - We experienced friendly staff. Had an issue with the electric hot water system that was resolved promptly by the installation of a replacement unit. Cafe associated with the accommodation is run by others but again had friendly staff and was reasonably priced. We had a family unit with two queen sized beds but as only a couple only needed to use one of them which was lucky given that one was comfortable and the other would not have been as could feel the springs protruding. Tour desk and motorcycle hire also associated with the accommodation was also run by others but again staff were very friendly and helpful like everyone else at Rainbow Lodge.
• Carl-Johan (4/5): Friendly but not clean - We stayed 4 nights at Rainbow Lodge. It was situated only a couple of minutes from the beach and not far from many restaurants to choose from. However, our room wasn't clean and bed and pillows stank (!). The toilet wasn't really working and was out of order when we arrived. We only had a fan in our room but no air circulation outside the room made it really hot in there at night. Poor wifi even if we sat in the reception. Staff was friendly though.

• M.A. (8/5): Nice place to stay - Very cosy hotel with bar/restaurant where you can have cheap food and drinks. Staff is really friendly. Appreciated the porch with hammock in front of every private room. Rooms are basic but clean and spacious, all you need. Short walk from the main street and beach. Would stay here again. Tip: motorbike rental is cheaper on the main street.
