• Nangi (10/5): Tranquility a d peace at it's best ✨️ - This place exceeded my expectations. The unit itself is gorgeous and the location and views 😍... It's so tranquil and peaceful. The hosts and staff were excellent as well. Loved every bit of our stay. It's perfect for couples, groups, families etc.

We were not explained this via any communication even though we booked Via booking.com. someone was supposed to call us and make sure as soon as they said the booking.

• Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is very attentive and made sure we were settled and kept informed at all times. The place, from the view, the actual accommodation, to the on-site activities (we did the hiking trial) and the Jacuzzi made the whole weekend simply amazing. (we had our own one on our deck). I love how they ensured the kids were kept entertained with activities (they had rock painting and brought the kids bubbles to blow).

My son was so happy, the place was amazing, the staff was exceptional l loved how they always make sure you ok, checking if we need something. What makes it more amazing they have the whatsapp group to keep you informed about anything and everything... A special shoutout to Ben he is such an amazing human. He is brilliant. PS I am ready to book my next holiday...my son can't wait to go back again... Thank you to the staff of Stonehill River Lodge. We are forever grateful to you..

• Shereen (10/5): It was cozy and enjoyed the early morning hikes. - That the water in the jacuzzi wasn't drained and refilled on our arrival. It was an unplanned holiday, we didn't pack much food. As a Muslim and for future Muslims visiting, some halaal food would be appreciated. Maybe pre packed halaal frozen food would draw more people.
• Shantal (7/5): We had a lovely stay for the time of year. The daily activities made it fun for all kids and adults - The property was nice and big and clean It was very cold. We went in winter and even though there is a fireplace and wall mounted heaters it was cold as ice a air con would go a long way

• Nicole (8/5): Absolutely relaxing and peaceful - We really enjoyed the spacious home and waking up to the sounds of the flowing river. It would be nice if their was a small shop on the premises to buy essentials such as sugar, tea and some snacks. The drive into the resort was not a smooth one so to travel in and out was unpleasant if you did not have the correct type of vehicle.

• Ashraaf (9/5): the place & staff excellent but we couldnt make use of the swimmingpool because of the water - NB: The only disappointment was the swimming pool water condition, since we arrived & when we left the swimming pool cleaner need a serious course to assist him in keeping the swimming pool clean since we arrived at the beautiful place the swimming pool water condition was unacceptable the saturday the pool had too much algae at the bottom & the Sunday it was overwhelmed with chlorine the water was not even blue thanx the swimming pool water condition was pathetic

• Zubair (8/5): Very good - Peaceful, serene and lots of fresh air on the river bank. Off the beaten path and tucked away nicely. Well kept estate and facilities. Excellent accommodation, clean with all amenities, including a gas stove for load shedding. Spacious and well layed out 8 sleeper with good sized bedrooms. Deck overlooking the river with longer and outside dining table was awesome. WiFi through load shedding was great. Loved the river rafting and the kids had fun doing the archery. Jacuzzi was a hit with the kids and the pool was great. Climbing wall, trampoline, jungle gym... Perfect for kids. The unit had a high quality TV with DSTV, YouTube and Netflix. Gas and wood braai facilities are available at each unit. Stonehill arranged wood, fire lighters and blitz which was delivered to our unit and was there upon our arrival. The cleaning team was amazing and friendly. Daily clean was part of the service. Office staff, general manager, duty managers were all amazing, friendly and helpful. We will be back... My car did not handle the gravel road leading to the lodge very well but it was still worth it. WiFi was a bit unstable but was expected given the location of the resort. Flies are a problem but is also expected given the close proximity to farms. We found the fly swatter on the last day of our stay.

• מירב (10/5): will be happy to come back! - Beautiful house in a special location. the house was spacious and clean, The connection with hosts before arrival was easy and wellcoming.. they even suggested wood for the fireplce and arranged everything in advance. unfortunately it rained non-stop during our 1 night stay and we couldn't enjoy the outside area. heating in 1 room wasn't working
• Aqeelah (9/5): Beautiful destination - Absolutely loved the jacuzzi on the deck, the open area and park for the kids, the activities as well as the delicious ice cream. The staff were amazing and checked in on us regularly. Will definitely be back. The road there is a bit bumpy. I wasn't aware that it was a gravel road for about 4kms before you get to the reserve.
