Guest Reviews
- Satinder (2/5): - I'm not picky when it comes to where I stay, I only really require a decent-ish bed and a clean a bathroom. This hotel failed on pretty much every count. I didn't expect a luxury hotel but I had thought for the price we'd be getting a clean room.
To start with looks much dingier than the photos, which is something I always expect but not nearly to this degree. The room had not been cleaned before hand as the bathroom was disgusting and the shower had what looked like it poop in the drain. The bed was itchy and uncomfortable which made for two nearly sleepless nights. The staff was at least friendly and the area around the hotel has some good restaurants and sights. Do not stay here.
- Lim (8/5): - The location is convenient and counter staff are friendly.
- Mazatol izma (8/5): - Terbaik..
- Bobby (2/5): - Terrible hotel. In fact I left 1 day early without a refund and was glad. Your description was totally incorrect and distances to key locations were off by 30 to 40 is. Please do some research before recommending this type is facility.
- Mahmoud (8/5): - The room was very spacious and the beds were king beds and the mattress was comfortable.
The stay is convenient but not superb. Just walking distance from the markets and the restaurants.
- Norita (8/5): Budget stay with good breakfast - Overall nice stay for instant booking with breakfast. Reception fast & got lift even budget accommodation..
- Verified traveler (4/5): Terrible! - Better stay at the other place. For the price we paid, its a bit pricey. Room is so messy. Toilet is so dirty. Water heater not functioning. We checked in here because we arrived late. Around 12mn. The next day we move to better hotel. Terrible memories. Not again!
- Muhammad (8/5): Dekatdgn kedai mesin basuh 24 jam - Semua ok
- Verified traveler (8/5): - everything is ok..but the heater is not working...
- Visitor (8/5): - Strategic location
- Jane (10/5): - Clean & Comfortable
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Lokasi yang terletak berhampiran laluan ke destinasi tumpuan pelancong dan kemudahan yang disediakan agak baik.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Car park have to pay to local authorities , not free as stated on expedia. I don’t care to pay to local authorities but the hotel should alert and tell me about the parking. There’s no point to put the “please make up room” after 12pm as they don’t even go and check the room. We’ve to call the reception after we came back to the hotel around 6pm to make up room. Unfortunately, the receptionist as for fee for make up room. How do you feel?
- Jesse (2/5): - Water heater not function, shower with cold water while staying up in the mountain.
Unfriendly staff
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Easy and very comfortable
- Verified traveler (8/5): - PRO
-Spacious room
-Strategic location
CON
-Nearby main road so there's a noise coming from vehicle passing by esp.in early morning
- Verified traveler (2/5): Tattywangsa - No, No, and thrice No. Double the price that I would have paid in hindsight. Must be better hotels about. No WIFI, gave me the very basic room although I had paid for the one up for one of the 2 nights. Unhelpful staff would not even call for a taxi.
- WenqiC3 (2/5): Terrible! Worst stay ever! Staff attitude sucks - We joined Vacation Hub travel agency from JB and they arranged us to check in to this terribly lousy Budget hotel! I would rate 0 if available.
We are a family of 3. They assigned us a triple single bed G217 located at another block with a dedicated entrance door (there is only 4 rooms in that area @ Ground floor). Very creepy and dim walkway. When we open the room door, what welcomes us was strong smoke smell. I thought family room should be non-smoking? All the corners are dusty, bedsheets are yellowish, you can’t imagine when we try to push one of the single bed to connect bed, what will be observed under the bed &””$@:-(
After a Long haul overnight coach, we try to let ourselves to have a warm shower. However, water heater looks really old, rusted and dangerous. I turned to the maximum level but the water wasn’t hot at all! No choice, we bear the coldness to finish our shower. But what worse is the water stopped to flow.. the drainage was blocked!!! Yucky!!! Means you can see all the cold dirty bubbly oily water all around your feet :(
As the room was at the another block so it can’t detect any wifi signal provided by hotel.
I feedbacked this to my tour guide and hope that she will report this to the hotel management and requested for a room change.
What we received was totally unpleasant. Hotel staff denied all and blamed that I spoilt the heater?! What the hell! Their attitude was really sucks, negative, never helpful at all! It was like all is ur fault and now room all fully occupied we can’t exchange and it is not our fault! The Malay lady in pink and red named Nora is the most garang one.
Disappointed hotel, staff and also the tour guide. Totally ruin my Chinese New Year holiday! I have never experienced such trouble and anger for a hotel stay! Regret to the max!!!!!!
In the end, did I get the room exchanged? Of coz, NOPE!
Beware! Don’t come here to find trouble for yourself if you do not wish to ruin your Cameron Highland holiday.
- Davidteh1 (2/5): Worst hotel stayed in my life time - I would give 0 star if available.
This is the worst hotel i had ever stayed.
Booked for 3 day 2 nights stay family room.
The room wall dirty and full of fungus.
The carpet never washed or clean for ages.
The bed was unbearable.
The blanket dirty.
The floor wooden plank broken below the carpet.
The toilet without exhaust ventilation. After doing the big business, you need to evacuate the room because of the smell.
The shower faulty.
I was so upset and check out on the 2nd day 9am morning.
My advice to all who plan to stay there, "Do not stay there".
Regret booking the room at titiwangsa hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Near Pekan Brinchang
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Was convenient
- F7468TJpaulm (10/5): An excellent evening meal - The Steamboat evening meal is very popular and well worth it.The selection of meat and fish is adequate for 2.A self serve vegetable bar allows the steamboat flavours to be adjusted to suit. Many families use the restaurant for evening meals and as the finisher to our Nature Fare tour in the afternoon by Titwangsa Tours made it a success.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Old hotel - Limited parking. Public car park.
Got only one small lift operated.
Water pressure ok but won't get hot shower during morning.
Cheap hotel with breakfast included.
- Bala (6/5): Not Bad... - Breakfast served could be better with more variety of dish.
- nicezem (6/5): moderate. suitable for small family - very near to brinchang town. however need to change new pillow and bed. that things not comfort anymire
- Mohd. Azhan (8/5): i will back - Overall comfort and easy access to town.
- Verified traveler (8/5): short weekend getaway - Comfortable and clean. We get buffet dinner and breakfast.so, value for money. Short walk to nearby shops.
- Avelyn (6/5): Overall good - Nice layout.
Open space concept where you can see everything in a glance - No more leaving things behind.
- LoveToTravel_JT (4/5): Disappointed stay - Pros:
+Fast check-in
+Staff is quite friendly
Cons:
-Breakfast buffet: not much variety, taste is acceptable, basement environment is not good
-Room: small space, not clean, noisy (easily hear corridor sound even people just walking around)
-Bathroom: water heater looks old and dangerous, not clean
-Price: Overpaid, I can get better hotel in Cameron Highlands with the same price
-Parking lot: Limited, very difficult to find a nearby parking lot
Overall experience: Bad
- una (6/5): Free breakfast and free dinner - I love to stayed here because the accommodation including free breakfast and free dinner. It can save my money a lot.
- gracet625 (4/5): UNPLEASANT STAY - We arrived this hotel on 20/4-22/4-3D2N. The room has a very basic facilities. The main problem is the bedsheet, the smell is really horrible, feel like didn't wash for many days,OMG!! Really make me feel uncomfortable during the stay. This is the worst hotel I ever encounter. The bathroom and the wall are dirty, look like very old building. I'm really not recommend to stay this hotel. Poor receptionist communication.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - i like the room cleanliness but the hotel didn't provide any fan. as a pregnant lady i have so much trouble to sleep due to mosquito bite & a bit hot.
- Sue (8/5): stay at Tititwangsa Hotel - Have stayed here couple of times. Worth the money. Staff are friendly and courteous. Room was no 100% clean. found dusts here and there and bug too.
- Eliza (8/5): Clean, beautiful room view & amazing steamboat - The steamboat is amazing, a lot of variety and choices, fresh, clean and good services. The rooms are clean and basic design but the view from the room is beautiful.
- ayub (8/5): Good hotel and nice room. - hotel at the middle between Tanah Rata and Brincang very good place and near the new Pasar malam. Very good staff and friendly. Steamboat not bad and breakfast not bad, Nasi lemak very nice and good.
- 630kavitas (2/5): Deceiving Pictures of Titiwangsa - Let me start this note with some positives about the hotel. You responded to my bank transfer immediately and booked me the room. Good Service in booking the room.
This is the only good thing I can think of.
Now let us come to the review of stay at the hotel - 16 Feb - 18 Feb 2018
1. We booked a family room - As soon as we entered the room, the room was filled with the smell of fungus that develops due to moisture and water leakage in the room.
2. Room pillars had cracks and cement was falling off those cracks.
3. Room walls were so dirty. They haven't been painted for ages.
4. TV in the room was antiquated. People don't use such TVs for ages now.
Since we had paid all the money in advance, we had no choice but to give the room a try and also since it was a peak season due to public holiday there was no possibility of finding room in any other hotel. So we stayed. With the smell of fungus sleep was not easy and proper after a long travel of 4 hours from KL. I got up in the morning with my eyes red due to allergy caused by fungus. I went thru sneezing attack due to dust in the blanket provided to us.
The same day we asked for the change in room. Another good point added to your service you provided us another room immediately.
We were happy to get another room. It looked comparatively ok.
After the tiring day we checked in the new room in the evening. It had less smell of fungus but it was full of food smell because their food area was right below the room's floor. We thought its ok it's just one more night. As soon as we were asleep, I woke up hearing a sound of whole lot of water falling into the room. Upon enquiring we figured out that the sewage pipe is right next to bed and anytime people use their bathroom we will hear a strong sound of water flowing down the drain. Ultimately, we couldn't sleep all night.
Now comes to food arrangements - We were delighted that we got dinner and
break-fast both along with the deal. The quality and variety of both were ok as per the hotel standard. However, the staff looked so demotivated at work they didn't respond to our queries related to steam boat to which we were new. We initially thought that it's because of English language but then even they didn't respond to conversations in Bahasa.
Now comes to Wi-Fi which is a basic facility provided in any hotel these days. They only offer Wi-Fi at the lobby because the signals in room are not strong enuf to support your connectivity need.
Over-All it was not at all a pleasant experience when I look at the price we paid. High Peak season 3 times the normal price. Plus we carried the allergy sneezing problem and eye soreness back.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
- NANTHINI (8/5): Nice hotel - Very nice experience. Dinner steamboat very nice. But the breakfast time period need to be extended at least until 10.30am.
- Zharif (6/5): Dinner menu - Steamboat at dinner time should be good if more variety of foods and drinks provided.
- Noridin (8/5): Nice n got steamboat as a dinner - Very huge room but not very clean. Must upgrade the cleanliness espesially in the room. Another facility is good..
- en_rex (6/5): Reservation with hotel come with breakfast & dinner - When you book directly with the hotel, package come with breakfast & steamboat dinner. If you made reservation via Agoda, Traveloka & etc you may get only breakfast. If you want try their steamboat also can (for non hotel guest) at a price about RM25-30
Don't expect the room so clean but it quite big, just the toilet quite small even the toilet and shower room separated.
This hotel suitable for family or whom looking for budget hotel when visiting Cameron Highlands. Parking outside the hotel and easy to get a parking.
- Izaman bin ismail (8/5): good - good
- Eliza (8/5): Cozy & good steamboat - It was cozy room, service was good and friendly, food especially steamboat was fantastic with the nice environment
- Ken (2/5): Unpleasant Stay - The stay at room G167 was unpleasant.
1.The water flask was not washed with half a tub filled of black liquid. This can't be detergent right? I took photo.
2. Shower room was not clean, with filthy stains on the wall tiles. I took photo.
3.The bathroom water heater flow is so small. TheThe sink tap equally small flow.
4. The water pipe in the room had disturbed us all through the night, when people upstairs flushes, the sound is just so loud. they should at least boxed up the pipe.
5.At 6am, someone in next room started drilling the walls. I have to call the reception who replied she will investigate..serious this is terrible, which lasted 15 mins.
My family will not stay in this hotel for.the amount paid.
- Shali (2/5): Horrible and filthy!!! - Don't be deceived by the attractive pictures of the rooms in the brochures and the website. I paid close to RM300 for a family room for 4. It's my second trip here after 8 years!! Was shocked to see the room dusty, floor wasn't swept and mopped, sheets had stains everywhere and torn in some places, bathroom was not washed and the tiles were filthy and had brown stains too. Also the bathroom door was broken at the bottom. The quilt reeked of dampness. The whole room was overall pathetic and the hotel isn't maintained at all. The menu for the breakfast and dinner wasn't appetising at all. The same goes to the dining area. For that amount of money paid, one would have expected a decent place to stay..Better for it to close down its operation. And sometimes a RM90 room provides excellent service and a clean environment!!
- Dura (10/5): Nice hotel - Room is spacious. Great choice! Recommended! Will come again.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
- Verified traveler (4/5): Dirty floor smelly toilet - Floor is dusty.
Toilet is smelly.
Ask the housekeeping lady to clean the room, but the never change the bed sheet eventhough is super obvious dirty and stain.
When clean the room, face not friendly. Bad service. Only those at the reception counter is showing a good hospitality.
- ane (4/5): - Room not clean and carpet very dirty. Staff are not helping much.
- amirul (6/5): good for family trip - great
- Amirul (8/5): good for family - everything fine. just the cleanliness is not so good
- Teo (4/5): - Room bed uncomfortable
- dannymiera (8/5): Budget Hotel with Steamboat - The room is well. Reasonable. Steamboat with fresh vegetable and breakfast with many choice to choose. Environment also good but the housekeeping is unfriendly and serious all the time. Last, Hotel Titiwangsa located at Brinchang and strategic👌🏻
- gal9488 (10/5): Simple, cool, friendly hotel - This hotel is worth every penny. When we booked a room here, it comes with a steamboat dinner and breakfast. The steamboat has alot of varieties. The hote is simple with all its necessities. Parking is free but limited spaces and available on site. There is a Hindu temple next to the hotel and there is cafe and shops next to the hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - -Walking distance to restaurants
-Dinner (steamboat) included in price, taste nice too
-Sufficient parking lots
-Abit noisy if stay on first floor.
- khimyeen (8/5): Great value for money - We went there for a family holiday and booked 4 different rooms for a total of 7 adults, 2 children (above 12), 4 children (below 12) Our booking included the family deluxe room. The room was really big and they were all clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were good and firm. There was tea and coffee making facilities too. The toilet and the shower were separated into two different areas. Whilst the toilet had an exhaust fan the shower did not and was constantly wet and slippery. It would have be ideal if the shower area had an exhaust fan to dry the floor.
Breakfast and dinner was part of the room package and if you are on a budget, this is awesome. However, I found the quality of the breakfast food to be average only. I would have really appreciated freshly cooked eggs in different styles, however they only had omelette wedges which was still ok. Choices were very limited however they had fresh fruit and passable coffee.
Dinner on the other hand was good! They provided steamboat and it was filling and wonderful. They had seafood such as prawns, squid and fish which was quite fresh and unlimited supply of vegetables, two different types of noodles and eggs apart from the different types of fish balls. The serving size was extremely generous! We really ate until we were so full!
Service was also good. There aren't any fridges in the room and I had things for my baby which required refrigeration and freezing. They were happy to oblige me by putting all my things in the hotel fridge and freezer.
Really great value for money overall if you are looking for reasonable and clean accommodation.
- Jo-AnnKYTan (4/5): Horribly old! - I booked this hotel because I thought it would be walking distance to the night market. Only found out that the night market had moved. Nevertheless, hotel reception was not that friendly. Not much people skills - communication was kinda rough. I paid RM496 for 2 nights. Had a shock when we saw the room. We were transported back to the 1980s. Old beds. Stained sheets. Smelly carpets. Creaking floor boards under the carpet. Bathrooms were separated - some genius designed the sink to be together with shower instead of the toilet bowl. Shower wasn't working at first but a kind housekeeper changed for us. The only thing we were grateful was for hot water.
- Sh_myy (6/5): Easy to park and love the steamboat - The hotel is just in front of the main road. They provided parking for visitors. Room are all ok except bathroom are not that clean. We cant close the bathroom door. Room level 1.
For dinner they have steamboat and it is great.
- Amber (6/5): Huge family room with 2 king size beds. - Check in is fast. Stay in family room, huge room with 2 king size beds. Breakfast and Steamboat dinner included in room charge, restaurant staff are quick in service.
If Cameron Highlands map with interesting places provided at the Hotel Reception with be an added value.
- kogilabalang (8/5): Easy Car Parking, Complimentary Steamboat Dinner, Huge Family Room, Value for Money - Pro : Huge Family Room with small 4 pax table. Easy car parking despite crowded area, complimentary, delicious steamboat dinner, Value For money. Good room service. Cons : Bathroom and toilet needs extra clean up.
- Mandy (4/5): Old & need upgrade room condition - Family quad room is huge but only have one ceiling fan at one end therefore the 2nd bed area is quite warm. Cameron Highlands climate is no longer cool thus temperature is warm during afternoon & evening. Hotel window does not have insect netting therefore opening windows attracts insects to fly in at night.
- Safuan (10/5): Nice hotel - Room included breakfast & dinner (steamboat), Easy Parking & near Brinchang Town
- Verified traveler (6/5): Avg Stay - Avg 2 to 3 star hotel. I got free steamboat dinner and free breakfast for 2. The dinner was normal steamboat, breakfast was ok, nothing fancy. Short 3 mins walk to town center. Room was clean. The bed was a little hard, good for people that love Seahorse brand bed. 6 channels to watch on TV.
The only thing I personally like is the pillow. Of all the hotels that i had stayed, I always get pillows that are either too soft or too flat. i had to double stack the pillows to make it higher so that i don't get a neck ache the next day.
This hotel i like the pillow. It is those tough sponge type that bounces, which is what i liked because when i lay my head on it, it just stay quite firm. For people like me that always sleep on my side, the gap between my head and the bed is maintain at level with a good pillow, this one did the job.
- Wilson Too (8/5): Hotel Titiwangsa. - The Hotel is located near the town of Brinchang, Cameron highlands and beside the main road. It was surrounded by greenery and cooling atmosphere. Because of its strategic location, attractive places like Sam Poh Temple, Big Red Strawberry Farm and Cactus Valley is within walking distance. My family and I also take an evening walk round the Town.
Dinner provided with Steamboat taste good and plentiful. But sad to said that the bed sheets looks old and worn out. As the atmosphere there is humid, the horrible smell emit from carpet as it is moist. Better not to have carpet at all. The toilet facilities is not in tip top condition.
Hope The management take the initiatives to improved further.
- TXSim (10/5): Not bad - The hotel room is spacious is clean but a bit noisy. The hotel provide parking inside and outside the hotel. It is very cold during the night and we don't need to switch on the fan during our day. Traffic will be noisy if too many cars especially festival. They use small old box TV. They have jug kettle but no mini-bar. The water heater in the room is working for a while and later no. The housekeeping is good that they changed our towels in the room since we booked for 2 days. They provide free breakfast and free steamboat dinner. We choose to have steamboat dinner on the first night and Tom Yam Steamboat Dinner which is chargeable per person. They have separate toilets. Got lift in the room. During super peak season. Many people will come to this hotel. We went there during the Christmas eve. My advice to everyone: go during normal season to avoid jams.
- Darmarajan (8/5): Good - Hotels is a bit run down especially the lobby area
- Siambuddhas (4/5): Slapping my forehead with the condition like that! - Room 406 !! The power point of the TV really loosen and can get on and off results and last resort plugging into the other one! Very Extremely disappointed...the breakfast really need to buckle up...the porriage should uses a slow cooker to keep it hot!!
The rest..i can only say ..get the room 410 is best!
- Wen (8/5): Need to upgrade room - We have to upgrade our room to family quad with two double bed from the initial booking. The initial room was not properly clean and smelly and quite small. The quad room however is spacious & tidy. And also cost us extra $. The steamboat package & breakfast buffet was good.
- Kalai Ace (8/5): Good and Pleasant Hotel - My family stayed in the Family quad room. It is very clean and comfortable. 2 large king size beds. Parking is free and readily available very close to the hotel. The Wifi is OK, about 3MB/s.
Another pleasent surprise to us is that Steamboat Dinner is included in the stay. We thought only breakfast was included. Breakfast is normal malaysian breakfast selections. Another plus point for us was the hotel is very close to Indian temple within walking distance.
All in all, we will definitely will stay here again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Old and needs work - Rooms with carpets smell -- carpet in the wet climate isn't the way to go. Nothing around the hotel of interest.
- Manbat (8/5): Close to the shopping area, lot of facilities - My trip for this time to Cameron Highland is very comfortable. Not so many peoples was there at that time. Maybe because of date selected
- JihahS (6/5): Love the steam boat - Good service and tasty dinner with steamboat, breakfast is also good, affordable price and suited our budget. Went there for business trip and highly recommended for budget tourist but the room some time a bit noise because it close to the street, for me its okay furthermore hotel staff is very helpful.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Dissappointed.
Bedding (pillow/bed sheet/towel) already worn out. Need to replace new ones.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointed!!! - Were given a room located at ground floor. That room was so smelly & dirty.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Looks clean and neat - Hotel waiters is looks friendly. the hotel well managed.locations looks so cool makes me calm.i had great experiences with my family.i really enjoyed my times there.Reception staff works well.invited us with smiling face I like it as well.Hotel condition is fine. And They quickly reacted since I had faced problems in my rooms.i wish to come there again afterwards. The nicest hotel I had in my lifetime.
- norshamk (6/5): Family holiday - Titiwangsa is a really good hotel durig our trip in Cameron Highland. We had stayed one night at this hotel during our trip on 29 November 2016.Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Dinner is good with steamboat.
- elo3893 (10/5): Really Good Agency Thank you so much! - Titiwangsa is a really good agency close to the customers.
They offer me a tour to see the tee plantation because an other agency didn't pick me.
So, I recomand a lot! And thank you so much for your help!
- sharianah (10/5): good experience - good to stay and strategic.
- shirleyjone (8/5): Simple and value - We had stay 2nights at this hotel during our trip in Malaysia at Brinchang. The room with street view some time a bit noise but ok with us because suited our budget, hotel staff are friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is good.
- witang67 (10/5): Best Services - Times had gone fast one year we are not going for holidays but this month on 16 Nov 2016 we are planning going to Cameron Highlands. Our family still staying at Titiwangsa Hotel because their services given are very good from check in till check out. Lastly don't forget to bring umbrella together whatever you go, weather hard to say. Overall no comment to Hotel Titiwangsa, best Hotel in Brinchang forever. Don't worry your meals the rooms included steamboat dinner (HALAL) and if you don't what steamboat dinner just inform to front desk to change to set dinner at no extra charge plus daily breakfast also included.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Very dirty hotel - Checked in for 2 nights. At night at 12 realised bed is full of bed bug. Complained at reception they did nothing. Called hotels.com made a complain they relocated for 1 night after talking to 5 agent spending 90 min on the phone. Just got an email from hotels.com they won't refund money as money was paid cash to the hotel. Unfortunately hotel doesn't take card or online payment. Rooms are just small and very basic hostel type. Toilet is not clean. Not sure if this was only my room. Will never go back again
- mama (2/5): Not coming again here - no sound proof.
keep drilling on the wall at night.
old furniture.
dirty toilet.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very nice and steamboat very delicious.. i hope can travel to cameron highland again..
- charlene (8/5): location is perfect - everything is nice. it's just that the bed is not so comfortable.. suggest to change the bed as it has been spoilt
- Kishore (6/5): Hotel is nice, but no dedicated parking. - Hotel is nice, but no dedicated parking and rooms on roadside are very noisy , which won't be comfortable for good night sleep.
- Verified traveler (8/5): A balance btw distance & quietness - Need to walk abt 5-8 minutes to Brinchang town centre. Not too far, not noisy.
Was given a 3rd floor last room, can see partial golf course view.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Plus is close proximity to town centre. Negative is hotel seems to have deteriorated quite a fair bit since my last stay 2 years ago. For example, the heater is not working in both rooms.
- Michael (8/5): family trip - value for money
- Michael (8/5): family trip - value for money
- Wan Lim (8/5): - Overall base on the price included breakfast and dinner, and the room is big enough for a family, I am satisfied with that. It is right choice for a family trip.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice budget place to stay! - We got free dinner and breakfast, nice place nice food nice staff. But still need improvement with the room cleanliness, from bed to toilet. Still can get a comfortable sleep although no fan or aircond, at first we expected that night will be hot since Cameron Highland is not as cold as 2 3 years before plus our room is just at the 1st Floor. Hihihi
- Chan (8/5): - Mantaining of hotel is poor. A lot of dust and dirt on floor carpet.Shower is not enough hot. Big thumb up on steamboat dinner with free flow of vegetable. Easy connecting to restaurant, place of interest and night market. Anyhow, my family have a pleasant stay and may consider Titiwangsa again in future.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Value for Money - Value for money. The hotel is average but your are given both dinner and breakfast. Location wise is superb, close to night market, petrol stations as well as places of interest. Parking might be a problem during the day as the space is limited compared with available rooms.
- Nik Nor Azman (6/5): Hotel Titiwangsa, Brinchang, Cameron Highlands - Overall, the hotel is quite ok. The location is nearby the main attraction such as Mardi, Night Market, Big Red Strawberry Farm and also petrol stations.
However my family room was located at the floor just above the dining area. Because of this,I could smell the cooking of "steam boat". Also I could hear a loud noise when somebody flush their toilets (the noise could wake you up at midnight).
Dinner of Steam Boats was provided. This is the plus point as you are normally tired after touring/walking during the day. Expect some delay in serving of Steam Boats if you came here during a peak period.
Parking will be some issue during the day as there are only limited parking provided by the hotel.
For the hotel rate offerred, I think it's value for money.
- Martynas (8/5): Not bad at all - Nothing much to talk about :) good standart hotel and that's it. breakfast pretty basic, but you also get a dinner with steamboat which is pretty awesome!
- King (6/5): - The location is good but the pillows give off a bad smell.
- Nordin (8/5): - great room... wide and spacious (family quad room)
