- Vandewege (10/5): - Staff was pleasant and efficient. Breakfast food was cold, the eggs and meat
It tasted good, just cold. Someone came later and turned up the burners.

- Jan (10/5): The Van Buren Hotel was convenient to everything, very comfortable room, good value for the money. - Complimentary lemonade, ice water and cookies. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. Can't think of anything
- Carolyn (6/5): - It was clean and quiet. I paid for a suite and the couch was terrible. We couldn't even sit on it to watch TV in the evening.
- Lori (7/5): - Clean and location The breakfast lady started putting the chairs up a half hour before breakfast was supposed to be over. People came in and walked out thinking they could no longer eat. Seemed rude to start cleaning up so soon.
- Etlinger (10/5): Golden girls - Super clean Not enough seating for breakfast
- Silvera (10/5): - Everything
- Constance (10/5): Great place to stay. It is close to everything -
- Deb (10/5): - Everything!! Nothing!!
- Barbara (1/5): Meh - Location Customer service was in adequate. Shower was not clean. Tried to cancel reservation for next day and was shuttled around between no general manger available and the booking company. No one wants to help with the issue

- Helene (10/5): Great hotel! - This property is spotless clean. If you like quiet this is your place. Breakfast is everything you need. I’ve stayed here many times and would book again. Price is good too. Nothing
- Tammy (8/5): I'll be back! - I liked that this was a pet friendly hotel. Hallways and rooms smelled very fresh and clean. I knew right away I'd stay here again when the flea market opens! The only thing I didn't like was I wish we had more time to enjoy the pool and the breakfast. That's why I rated 8 out of 10.

- Calhoun (10/5): Love Shipshewana - Very clean, organized and pleasant place to stay. A little pricey The heater fan was very noisy and made a banging noise and kept you from sleeping
- Lisa (10/5): Very nice place. - Property is located at the edge of town. Close to everything! Very nice hotel and our room was clean and comfortable. A little expensive, but I think competitive for the area.
- Regina (10/5): - Breakfast was good The mattress was lumpy worn needs to be replaced
- YORLEY KATERIN (10/5): Paz y armonía con paisajes verdes - El lugar se siente como estar en casa, muy acogedor y cómodo

- Shelley (10/5): Will stay here again on my next trip to Shipshewana! - The room was probably the most clean hotel room I've stayed in. Kudos to the staff! Especially liked that there was no carpet in the room, bed was comfortable with light weight yet warm bedspread. Nice big TV, channel lineup was great. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. Ground floor room was nice, quiet hallway. There were not many travelers on Monday night, so I think they spread out the guests, which was nice. Staff was friendly, welcoming. Did not take advantage of the breakfast, but I could imagine it was delicious. The weather could have been better, but you had no control over that. The room warmed up nicely and stayed at a constant temperature and we were very thankful. Overall, there was not one thing I didn't like. It was a very pleasant stay.
- 518shirleyb (10/5): Great Experience - The rooms were very clean and the staff did a great job in food preparation, greetings and cleanliness. The gym has but one non working treadmill and I would recommend getting that fixed along with having at least 2-3 treadmills for the size of the hotel.
- wvb62 (8/5): 3 day visit - Quick visit to Amish country. Hotel was selected because of it being pet friendly. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was way below standard.
- Donna (9/5): -

- chiefsdad76 (4/5): Not terrible but could use some improvement - Whirlpool left a lot to be desired. Manager adjusted price after we addressed the issue but made our trip a little less enjoyable not being able to enjoy the perks of the room.

- Blake (5/5): -
- Tia (8/5): Overall our stay at the hotel was enjoyable with friendly staff and a clean room. - I liked the room overall, especially the flooring and how clean it was. The location was ok for Pajama Days. The lobby is outdated and not decorated in Amish items like quilts and farm photographs like other hotels in the area. Unfortunately It looks dingy and outdated. Also, the lack of a jacuzzi in the pool area and breakfast and coffee were disappointing.
- mervin (8/5): -
- sstrefdina (8/5): Pajama Day Fun - We loved the bingo night. It was a lot of fun. The breakfast was ok but the food was cold. Would have been much better if it was warm. Everyone was friendly and kind. We will stay again next year for Pajama Day.

- Lynette (8/5): Good it had everything we needed - The whole property Bed was a little hard
- Richard (10/5): Very Clean - Very clean. Had a nice variety for breakfast. Staff was friendly. There really wasn't anything I didn't like.
- Wayne (9/5): Great stay - Staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was great with a large variety. Room was more like a suite, it was exceptional. Location was ideal. Super clean and quiet. Bed was soft as were the pillows.
- Jillayne (8/5): Stayed with daughter and 2 grandkids for the night t. Pool was good for the kids. - Good variety of food! Maybe a little play area for kids or a coupon to get in the flea market.
- Vicki (10/5): -
- Stanley (7/5): -
- Carla (8/5): -
- Wenger (10/5): - The breakfast bar was clean and well stocked. The whirlpool tub wouldn’t drain unless you held the drain open by hand.
- Barbara (7/5): Usually give a 9 rating for this hotel but there were some issues this time. - We have stayed here many times in the past couple years and we really enjoy the location and cleanliness of the hotel. We have previously asked for grab bars in the showers and we’re pleased to see that one had been added in this room suite. Thank you for listening! Two main issues during this visit: the mattress was not very comfortable in this room and the breakfast was poorly stocked, slow to be refilled, and hot foods were warm at best. For a Saturday morning following a sold out concert, we expected the breakfast to be better prepared and ready for a crowd.
Also, the snow and slush was not cleared on sidewalks or handicapped parking spaces when we arrived at 2:45 pm nor when we left the following morning about 10:30.
- Patsy (8/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Excellent comfortable -
- Ann (10/5): -
- Suzanne (10/5): - It was a little pricey

- Navigator38050743732 (10/5): I Highly recommend The Van Buren Hotel - My wife and I just stayed at the Van Buren Hotel in Shipshewana and this is probably our 6th or 7th stay at this hotel. It is always a wonderful experience. The Van Buren is a quiet, clean and inviting hotel. Everyone is always so friendly and accommodating and at a very reasonable price. My wife and I trave all over the country and rarely find places to stay that check all the boxes for a perfect stay. The Van Buren does. I would also like to highlight Andrea, the sweet girl at the front desk. My wife loves to dance to Frank Sinatra's Strangers In The Night. Andrea was so nice to film our little video in front of their beautiful Christmas tree. Thank You Andrea!!! It made my wife so happy and for that I am so grateful to Andrea. And to top off all the wonderful things about the Van Buren, it is surrounded by all the wonderful people of the Amish community and all the charm that comes with them. To sum it up, I highly recommend the Van Buren Hotel to everyone that will listen. Thank You for providing a wonderful experience for my wife and I.
- Roxanne (10/5): -
- Mark (8/5): - Convenient While clean, the heavy sanitizer smell was initially overwhelming. We opened the windows to air out the room.
- Nancy (9/5): Great, reasonable hotel. - Very clean. Breakfast area was clean and very well maintained. Curtains in room 236 were torn and did not fully close.
- Gary (8/5): Would definately stay again. - The price, the amenities, extra toiletries, breakfast The water pressure in the shower was weak. The internet was weak
