- Nick (8/5): - Bottom floor easy access room The desk handle sucks while working at the desk being big and in the middle
- Nofomuli (4/5): It was all right nice to stay. - The convenience of being downtown. They never cleaned your rooms
- Eric (10/5): - The bed was very comfortable. The room clean! Wasn't much that we didn't like. The rooms decorations are dated but that went to its charm. The room was clean, the bed comfortable.

- Marsha (9/5): - Very clean and staff very accommodating. Restaurant food was above average.
- Ron (9/5): -
- Larry (4/5): - The sheets were dirty and appeared not to have been changed. When I asked for clean sheets I was told that the housekeeper did not work on the weekends and there was nothing they could do. Totally grosd
- Crystal (10/5): - Everything was good except the water pressure in the shower.
- Jenny (6/5): - Parking safe friendly staff wood fire grill connected
- George (4/5): - The second queen bed in my room had a big conspicuous stain on the blanket.
The room had an odor that is strong and unpleasant.
I got up to go for breakfast across the parking lot to the main building and I saw a man with a gun standing like waiting for someone. Texas is open carry and ND is open so why did he try to hide the gun from my view? He then moved in between some trailers to further hide away from view. That got me uncomfortable. I went back to my room. Good that I was on 2nd floor.
I alerted the front desk and gave it a few minutes of safety before I stepped out again
Not a pleasant experience overall
- Andrew (4/5): - Was not as advertised. Room that was booked was unavailable at check in. Room that was available was in desperate need of an update and a deep cleaning.
- Tina (8/5): - It was a great place and I will stay again
- William (6/5): - Staff is very friendly and courteous, the rooms are in need of some upgrades.
- Charles (8/5): - Good

- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent stay! - We had several special requests and the front desk staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was very tasty and hot. We stayed an extra night because we were pleased with everything. The price was very reasonable.
- Brad (4/5): Ok place for a quick stay - Old and damp and smelly and in severe need of an update
- olson (7/5): -
- Marco (8/5): - Very comfortable spacious and clean room
Although with $108 somewhat overpriced
- Charles (8/5): -
- Eva (8/5): - The street noise is unpleasant to say the least. Had to sleep with the air conditioning fan running or the traffic noise was unbearable. The building is very old but the inside has been remodeled and done quite nicely.
- Dean (8/5): -
- Steven (8/5): - The brewery/pub is very nice, staff was friendly and helpful. The motel itself is showing its age, and priced as such. Room was clean and quiet.
- Justin (8/5): - It was clean and neat. Nothing was bad to me
- Perry (6/5): - We had to change rooms. AC didn’t work. We found the room was dusty. Others in the group had AC issues too
- Bailey (5/5): Passable -
- Janice (10/5): - Property was clean and nice
- Lynda (8/5): - We loved the restaurant attached to the hotel. Excellent quality food. And we liked our very spacious room and the fact that the bathroom area was separated from the sleeping area. There was a spacious countertop with double sinks, and the bathtub/shower had 4 shelves to put products on and a great non-slip tub bottom. The bathroom was very clean and had been upgraded fairly recently.
HOWEVER, the PET FEE is INSANE! $75 for ONE NIGHT! We do not recall seeing that pet fee stated when we made our booking, or we would not have booked this place. NEVER have we heard of a fee anywhere near that high, even in the well-known average hotel chains.
- Janet (8/5): Accommodating - Had an issue with the noise and air conditioner not working. Went to front desk the lovely front desk clerk promptly moved us to another room
- Shane (8/5): - A
- Deb (4/5): - Room was clean but air conditioner was very old did not cool and made Soo much noise could not sleep with it kicking and banging is a very old motel
- Catherine (5/5): Passable -
- Joan (6/5): - This motel is used mainly by oil field workers as it gives them affordable accommodations. But this means the rooms are heavily used and the workers tend to bring some of the field into the building with them. The halls were heavily soiled with dirt that didn’t abate during my 3 day stay. The bathrooms have been updated in the past few years but there is more that needs to be done. The new owner is proposing to do that and I hope they are successful as being in an oil town makes it difficult to keep the buildings up, good staff happy and still remain affordable.
- Randall (10/5): - The receptionist was very friendly, warm, and accommodating. Very clean hotel with an excellent restaurant attached.
- Barbara (6/5): - Old facility, inside lock on room door did not work, there was no breakfast left even though there was 20 minutes left of the time, coffee at breakfast was lukewarm
- Robert (10/5): - Williston Brewing Co. is attached to the hotel and is great for dinner and drinks.
- Carleen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris St (10/5): - Was well .maintained and a nice facility
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The gal who checked me in told me the room I booked wasn’t available and just switched me and didn’t give me the option to get my money back. She yawned the entire time I was at the desk then didn’t explain how to get to my room. Room was decent, was cleaned but had a musty smell. The door lock didn’t latch great and no second lock on the door so it was not a real comfortable night
- Cathy (4/5): - Room had a terrible odor. Exterior windows and grounds were dirty. I will not stay there again.
- Jennie (8/5): Nice comfortable room, great staff, great restaurant. - Staff were super friendly. The attached brewery/restaurant was great. Room was large. Hotel was close to amenities. N/A
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (6/5): - The staff was great and it is a very affordable place to stay. No AC, carpet is older than me and it needs some updates
- Vicki (8/5): - We stayed one night at the El Rancho. It is an older motel but was very clean. The staff were very friendly and the continently breakfast was adequate. Very reasonably priced too.
- Douglas (8/5): - The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The pillows weren’t so great, unfortunately.
The hotel is older, but is in a nice, good condition. Avoid the nasty laundry, though!!
- James (6/5): Pleasant - I always had an issue with check in
- Leon (10/5): - Good location and friendly service.
- Poole (10/5): Traveling with my Grandaughter - The room was huge! Very clean except outside the door was a lot of cigarette butts. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. I would stay again. Nothing that I can really think of.
- Gloria (10/5): - weve stayed in many hotels in the area and find this to be the best for food, value, service. . The room was much larger and the facilty wasin a convenient location.
- Terry (7/5): Good - Good for one night. Bed and pillows were good. Breakfast was barely ok. Needs. Outdoor remodeling. Locat good. Employees in morning were nice but could wear clean clothes. Breakfast. Outside decor.
- Jane (8/5): - It was very quiet and had a very comfortable bed.
Was a good deal, financially. The ladies at the desk were very pleasant. We will stay here again.
- Jennifer (4/5): - Check in was very friendly and the hotel lobby is very nice. When I got to my room at first impression it did seem clean. Bathroom was clean and floors were clean throughout. But I turned down the first bed and noticed the sheets were dirty - lots of hair and food crumbs. Turned down the second bed and it was even worse - found hair and blood on sheets. I was too tired from traveling to request a room change so I slept on top of bedding in my full clothing because the sheets were so gross. I even kept my sweatshirt hoodie on because the pillowcases were also dirty and I didn’t want my head to touch them. Needless to say, I didn’t get much sleep in these conditions and I would not stay here again.
- Shawna (10/5): - Always a good experience beds super comfortable and nice big tvs and lots of space in the outdoor rooms
- Susana (3/5): Poor - Pictures online gave me a different impression. The two rooms I booked were dusty and smelly, carpets were all stained and full of pets' fur. The bathroom was not cleaned, shower curtain all stained, too. Both freezers had leftover liquids frozen.
- James (1/5): Bad -
- marvin (6/5): - Could have cleaned stairwell and hallways… dirty carpets and steps!
- James (1/5): Bad -
- James (1/5): Bad -

- James (1/5): Bad -
- Brian (6/5): Pleasant -
- James (1/5): Terrible. - Very bad experience. I didn’t even stay there that night. I went somewhere else.
- Lyle (10/5): - Good big bed— nice to have a hot breakfast .
TV is poor/ not clear. The next door Williston Brewing Co is excellent— food & beverage &- many good big TVs— we watched NHL
- Katie (10/5): - Convenient
- Katie (10/5): - Great staff
- Leah (10/5): - Nice and quiet
- Anthony (1/5): Bad -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything! The food was great also!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - over all it was good just a little out dated but not in a bad way, the best part is the food next door,
- Katie (10/5): - Clean, comfortable and cordial staff. Always greeted with genuine kindness and the staff were very diligent to help me with my payment issue. They went out of their way to reassure me that I was able to stay, and able to pay.
- christopher (8/5): - Attached to brewery which is amazing restaraunt
- Lorne (2/5): I will stay elsewhere. - Nice large room. Friendly staff. Room was filthy.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room was dirty, carpets have not been vacuumed in a long time.
- Michael (4/5): The personal all friendly and polite. I did see breakfast set up. Looked good. Location was good it - Not able to have the breakfast. Clerk was friendly. 1. When I arrived lobby coffee was cold. 2. I was given a room that was occupied and I walked in on a guest in bed sleeping and scared the hell out of him. 3. My bathroom floor was dirty and gritty. 4. One bed looked like someone had laid in it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Friendly staff, rough rooms. - Always good service. Josh is usually at the front desk when I check in. Always accommodates me and my need for an outside room. On a different note, my rooms are rarely clean, always have food left over in the fridge and more often than not a toilet is not working in my rooms. Ive had to switch several times. Showers have been out of order before, heaters not working, etc. it was the only option allowed by my company for me to use on my route otherwise I would have stayed somewhere else for almost $100 a night. Hopefully the new GM can get it under control.
- Kathie (10/5): - We like this hotel when going through town. Such a hidden jewel :)
- Adam (10/5): - Excellent stay!
