• William (10/5): Beautiful Hotel in Patzcuaro - Beautiful hotel in Patzcuaro. The rates of this hotel are a bit higher than most in Patzcuaro, but was definitely worth it. Our room was spacious and had a fireplace. The dining area also has a nice fireplace which really sets the ambiance when dining. The location is ideal as it’s located in front of the main plaza. You can easily find dining near by as well as shops of local artisan work. Would highly recommend this hotel.

• Conor (10/5): Gorgeous Hotel on the main Plaza in Patzcuaro - Gorgeous hotel located in the very heart of Patzcuaro on the main plaza. Manager Griselda was so very pleasant and extremely thoughtful with all our needs and questions, making sure our stay at Hotel Casa del Naranjo was the best possible experience we could ever imagine…and it was. Entire staff was so nice to us and the facilities are BEAUTIFUL! We ate breakfast in the hotel and it was delightfully delicious. Car park is very secure and close to the hotel. We have stayed in Patzcuaro central many times and this is without a doubt our favorite! We will make this our home away from home in Patzcuaro for all future visits! It was all a very positive and uplifting stay!

• Penelope (10/5): Beautiful and charming hotel with gracious staff - We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff was cordial, professional, and helpful. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. There are no windows in the room, so the only daylight comes from french doors leading to the outside hallway. Also, because of this, there is no fresh air ventilation in the room, nor is there a fan or any other ventilation, so not the most comfortable sleeping, for me anyway. My husband was not bothered by this. We were supposed to have a free tour with our overnight stay and this was not offered. Frankly, we forgot about it until the following morning when we were ready to check out. The hotel kindly substituted complimentary breakfast in lieu of the tour. Overall, a very nice hotel with very gracious staff.

• Carleen (10/5): Love this place!!!!! - Patzcuaro is a beautiful town with fantastic food, crafts and people. The hotel is on the main square, an easy walk to most of what you would want to see. The rooms are spacious and clean. The price is a little higher than some of the surrounding hotels but worth it. Full breakfast is included. The staff was incredibly helpful in arranging a taxi to Morelia when we decided we did not want to take the bus.

• Theresa (8/5): Beautiful old world charm - We went to Patzcuaro for a few days during our Mexico vacation. Casa Del Naranjo is located right at the main square and is full of old world charm. The restaurant is attached and highly recommended in town. We recommend it too. We had breakfast included and it was delicious. I would recommend teying to get a room with a window just for air circulation or request a fan. Our room did not have a window and could be quite stuffy. Otherwise it was a great location and place to stay full of beautiful local artesinal pottery, weavings and throughout.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff were uber nice and went out of their way to help solve any problem or line up taxis if needed. The restaurant was very good for all kinds of meals with great hours. If Spanish isn't your forte everyone is very gracious. The bed was super comfortable and really soft sheets. Sometimes they alternate with flannel FYI. Marta and Greezelda are great concierge. Greezelda speaks the best English. Daniel and Don Luis are uber helpful. The only criticism is that the gas fireplaces in the two rooms we stayed in were not functioning well. I had specifically rented them for the fireplaces. They were aware of the problems in "La Zoromuta" continually going out which troubled me.. We moved into" Aqua Bendita" and although the fireplace worked well it smelled of gas which I stopped using. They gave us a very reliable space heater which kept up warm on the colder nights. Really a great proximity to the square and good shopping in the hotel. If you're not into fireplaces per say, this is a fabulous place!
• Gabriela (10/5): - Hotel is in an ideal location right in the center of town. The hotel is so beautiful and with extremely friendly staff. My absolute go to hotel in my future visit to the city.
• Barbara (10/5): - This hotel is right in the center of everything facing the Grand Plaza. From the outside, it's nothing special but when you step in, the place is transformed to something magical. Our room, like many Mexican hotels had no outside window but a glass and wooden door into a beautiful central courtyard. When we closed both doors our room was surprisingly quiet. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had breakfast at the hotel which was good. Also, certain times of the day and evening there was lovely live music in the restaurant. We will stay here again when in Patzcuaro next time.

The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to interact with on a daily basis. The service and quality will not be forgotten anytime soon.

The new room was much bigger and had three balconies but the bedding was awful and the water pressure non-existent. There was no coffee in the rooms though there was coffee in the hallway if you like instant. The second night we moved back to another room and the water pressure was better. The room was very dark. There was a floor lamp but no outlet anywhere near it.
