The building and room we stayed in were pretty rundown. One small window Unit A/C to cool two bedrooms and an open kitchen/family room area. Not ideal if you want privacy. The windows and the sliding door to the back deck/balcony did not have a screen so we couldn’t even open the place up to get the cool ocean breeze in at night. The bathroom was the size of a small closet with barely enough room for one person too maneuver inside, walking in and closing the door behind you as a challenge.

Walking distance to almost everything. (Walking to the Nubble Lighthouse is a bit far maybe.) A short drive to everything else. Kitchenette was a plus for saving money on dinner. Nice TV. Friendly and helpful staff. Room decor is a little dated, but everything worked and was clean.

Looking forward to returning. - Adele at the front desk couldn’t have been more welcoming and willing to go the extra mile to please us and make us comfortable. The property is just a pleasant walk to the beaches and restaurants. The room was large and perfect for traveling with a 2yo grandchild. Plus the room was exceptionally clean. Beds super comfortable. The pool is great for a cooling dip, our grandson loved it! We had an excellent stay and want to return ASAP!! No complaints, loved it!

Can walk to short sands beach. Location and staff were great. The rooms are just very old so there is a smell and icky feeling with the carpet. It was tough to get past that feeling.
• Guest (7/5): Vintage abode in a great location - Despite not having an A/C, I found the air flow in the room comfortable at night due to the ample amount of windows, oscilating fan and ceiling fan. The tv was pretty small for the room size and the shower felt a bit clostrophobic.

• Patricia (4/5): - Smoke alarm went off in our room at 4:30 AM while we were sleeping. Tried calling the emergency number posted on the office door and got voicemail. Left message and called back 15 min later. Someone arrived and took the smoke alarm down. We sat outside for 35 min waiting for this to be resolved. Property owner apologized for the beeping, which was a full out alarm, not just a nuisance beeping. Offered no reduction on our bill, etc for our inconvenience. Waiting to see if they make it right.

• Karen (9/5): We’re in town for one night and booked this over a month before our stay. Was a little disappointed that I was still pay - Staff was very nice and it was in a good location Beds were not very comfortable.

Adel the owner is a love wonderful person. I also liked the pool water was perfect not too much chlorine. I also loved the comfortable beds and the parking in front of my room. We had plenty of towels and soap. It was great for a girl's weekend would have loved to have stayed longer. The flowers outside the hotel were beautiful. The rooms could be a bit updated , would have liked ac. The pool bottom needs a repaint. A couple of young guys pulled up at 2am and sat in their car til 3am shining headlights right into my room. Then a couple with a 3 yr old and baby were booked in room 2 next to me where the dad was screaming at the 3 yr old noisy at 730 am on sunday morning when they were going to the beach. The guy upstairs from me had lead feet could hear him walking at night.

Save your money and headache and stay literally anywhere else on Long Sands or Short Sands beach Room stunk of stale cigarettes No lock on the inside of door which is standard in every other place I’ve ever stayed. Mold and water damage in the bathroom. Run down outdated rooms and amenities Booked for 4 nights and didn’t even stay one night, stayed elsewhere and when we tried to talk to the manager she was unhelpful and did not call back to even try to make it right. The locals also said this hotel is “used as a front for things” Tried to get booking.com to help and they said property was unwilling to give any refund. Literally stay away from this shit hole.

Offered a different room which was dirtier than the first. Did not dare cook on the thirty year old stove. Not worth the high cost to stay here. The location was great, with easy access to marina and local beaches and restaurants. Cleanliness was awful, did not dare cooking. Beds small and dated. Two Flights of stairs with inaccessible rooms which we were not aware of at booking.
• Annette (6/5): I love this place for what it is—it fits our laid back stance. - Location. Quiet. Altho dates, serves a great purpose, is affordable & fairly comfortable. Refrigerator noisy. Beds not too great. No screen in one window.
