• Janet (10/5): - A little Aussie gem, basic, simple perfect for an overnight stay. A little time warp of Aussie paradise just off the freeway, really quiet except for millions of parrots at sunset, Amazing.
• Craig (5/5): - Good location attached to a pub & on the river. Could do with some new beds, pillows & bedsheets, the white sheets were spotty & looked like they had mould in them & the doona had stains as well + pillows were as hard as a rock, room was clean enough but the beds are not good.

Seeing a separate hot & cold water taps and location just next to a river. Hanging hook for clothing would be nice to have (this was bought to the attention of employee)

• Wrigley (1/5): Woodburn Nice. Accom Not. - It was opposite a river. That's about it. The room was dusty, gruby feeling, freezer on small fridge was an inch thick in ice all round The air con didn't work properly and a pipe emptied water outside front door.. very close parking and just off road so can hear traffic. The food we had wasn't good It wasn't pizza as they couldn't make a cheese and tomato as they didn't have mozzarella cheese! Burger had orange plastic cheese melted on it and borritto bowl was mush.. Lot of locals with kids. Was glad to depart. The township it self is nice.

Had everything we needed with parking right outside the room. Amazing value for money. Nice pub with good food and good prices. Hot shower & comfy beds.
• Phillip (1/5): - After I was given the room I had booked and paid for 10 minutes later I had to give it up for a room without any facilities and was not clean everything was dirty and couldn't sleep last night it was the worst experience ever ( I will never again book or stay nor will I recommend that place to anyone )

• William (8/5): Would definitely stay again, room was clean and modern for a small country town, great value! - Was fantastic for after hours check in and the staff were wonderful. The location is great to stop in giving you plenty of time to get to attractions such as movie world and the Gold Coast the next day very easily Carpark is very tight for Ute’s better off parking in the street

It had everything needed, including a kettle and a small fridge. The shared bathroom was very clean too. It's very well located near bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants. Our daughter enjoyed the playground across the road.

• Phil (2/5): So bad my teenage son woke up before me and asked to leave..! - The sheets were very clean and fresh and the shared bathroom tidy. All I wanted was what I ordered, one double room with a private bathroom and one double room (separate singles) with a shared bathroom. After checking in I was handed two keys, so I asked which one had the “en-suite”. It was at this point everything headed south. The manager / receptionist turned away muttering something about having something else to do. Neither room had a private bathroom and both rooms had a double bed. Mmmmm. The curtains in one room were mouldy, each room had a freestanding kitchen fridge randomly placed in the room, which are very noisy 0.5m from you ahead at 3am. But at least it drowned out the constant drip of the air-conditioning unit. The plumbing is comical, if you don’t know what “water hammer is” go to the Rod n Reel, as it’s world class. So much so that I heard my son laughing at it from three rooms away..!
• Lisa (8/5): Great for an overnight stay - Dinner was great and the room was really clean, modern & comfortable. Lots of hot water and great water pressure! Food in the Rod n Reel is great value and plenty of choices for dinner☺️ Traffic noise is quite bad with constant trucks passing by however the hotel can’t help this. Unfortunately the walks are thin and I heard the snoring guy next door all night which made it difficult to sleep as well. Some glasses would be helpful too so you can have a drink -only coffee cups in the room.

• Gavin (7/5): Good location to stop after a long drive. - The location was handy. Pub staff and services were very good. The hand towels and one towel had some questionable marks on them. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and bathroom adequate.

• GARY (5/5): Great venue, shame about the wildlife - The venue was great! Next to the river. Staff were very friendly. Food was very good. Room physically was fine! Unfortunately it was very difficult to sleep, due to an infestation of corella parrots, which started to squark at 5am. That with the noise of the generator/ pump made it very difficult to sleep at all. Such a shame due to the fact that everything else about the venue was excellent.

• Jemma (10/5): Great location to rest and reset on our road trip with young kids. - Convenient location to stop over on our road trip. Parking easy, great pub food and play Center for kids. Central to great food, parks and cafes. Rooms just for relax and sleeping, very tidy and clean.

Could hear the birds and the love music as if it was just outside the door so not the quietest, but I actually really liked that. Really great value for money and would stay again.
• Rebekah (3/5): - Friendly and helpful staff. Good air-conditioned and bed was comfy and clean. The room felt like a prison cell small and grey. Curtains were dirty, no mirror in the room. Shared bathroom was very dated with dirty windows and very little water pressure in the over bath shower.
