The property was exceptionally clean, and the staff was consistently pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Richard, in particular, was wonderfully kind and resourceful. The thoughtfully curated art pieces add a unique charm to the space. My room was located next to the road, and the traffic noise was quite noticeable. I also experienced sound from adjacent rooms, particularly during cleaning hours. The hotel did provide earplugs, which helped mitigate the noise, and I appreciated that thoughtful gesture.

- William (10/5): Absolutely stellar experience and I will come back. - I loved staying here. The location was incredible, located right by the Sherbrooke Métro. The staff treated us to hot chocolate. The room was really incredible and the bubble bath was the right ticket! Though there were lovely local bar soaps provided next to the bathtub, the liquid soap and shampoo weren't up to the same level and we decided to use our own in the shower.

Le cachet était là. Excellent service de la part des hôtes. Très propre. Excellent rapport qualité-prix pour l'emplacement ! L'emplacement de la chambre, collée sur la réception, c'était moins plaisant pour l'intimité. La douche semblait légèrement tachée de moissisure, mais après vérifications, c'était correct.

And the beds are very comfortable. Although we were very comfortable otherwise, the shower in our room was cramped and just ok for water pressure. The breakfast was also just ok; it lacked selection but it did the trick and the coffee was good.

- Michel (9/5): Difficile de trouver mieux - Une belle demeure, un peu dans son jus, mais pleine de charme. L’emplacement est idéal, en plein centre et très proche du métro. La chambre est immense, bien insonorisée. Plein de petits restaus à 300 m à la ronde. Si l’on ajoute le petit déjeuner très correct, le parking gratuit et la gentillesse du personnel, on a là un superbe hôtel à Montréal.

To note that the hotel has no elevator so would advise to bring small bags if going for a short stay. Shower could have better pressure on upper floors.

- Catherine (10/5): - The hotel is conveniently located near Metro stops and a nice walk from the old city. The reception gave us good information and suggestions as to what to visit and recommendations for nearby restaurants. Our room was elegant and comfortable. Can't think of a thing.

- Nina (7/5): Reasonable stay, good location and friendly staff - It was a reasonable location with the train and nearby restaurants etc Room was big and bed comfortable. Room was a bit stuffy. Ac worked but unable to open windows for fresh air. A bit faded and dated but reasonable for a 3 star.

The small breakfast area was easy and also very convenient- all the basics (bagel, toast yogurt coffee were covered)— the furnishings were clean - everything was very comfortable and convenient. If I had a suggestion would be to improve the hot water for tea (make more easy to dispense). All told it was a great stay, reasonably priced, well located and all around excellent
- Linda (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable. Nice large bed and bathroom. Good continental breakfast. Very good coffee. Short walk to subway stops. No elevator. If they say 2nd floor they mean 3rd. If you have trouble with stairs call ahead to get first floor. Staff was very helpful. Free parking but very limited. Would stay again.

- Wayne (8/5): Nice staff - Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. However: Be advised of the following: Hotel was built in the 1870s and there is no elevator and 4 floors. Also parking is terrible. (45 rooms 15 spaces)

- Michele (10/5): A gem in the cultural district - We were so grateful to find this architecturally appealing property for our first visit to Montreal. It's perfectly situated to explore the Latin District, Chinatown and Old Montreal. Our room was perfect - scrupulously clean, cozy and comforable. Self-serve breakfast was wonderful. Free parking onsite was a huge benefit. The staff are friendly and so helpful. We loved our stay!
