Mathias (8/5): Zu empfehlen - Auf unserer Tour von der Puszta zurück nach Norddeutschland haben wir uns für die Route durch die Slowakei entschieden. Über booking.com wurde uns das Hotel Grand Vigľaš vorgeschlagen. Als absolut positiv können wir das Ambiente und die Damen an der Rezeption bewerten. Das Personal war wirklich absolut freundlich und wir konnten uns hervorragend auf Deutsch und Englisch verständigen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und wirklich geräumig. Außerhalb des Zimmers wirkt das Hotel fast schon wie ein Museum und an jeder Ecke wie in jedem Gang gibt es tolle Dinge zu entdecken. Die Lage ist auch toll und in die Zimmer drangen kaum Geräusche von außen. Zudem gab es kostenlose Parkplätze direkt am Hotel und der Wellnessbereich war zwar klein aber absolut sauber und atmosphärisch. Innerhalb der Woche hatte ich diesen abends teilweise sogar für mich alleine. Trotz der folgenden genannten negativen Dinge möchte ich das Hotel dennoch ausdrücklich empfehlen (insbesondere wegen der tollen Angestellten und des Ambientes). Am ersten Abend haben wir im Restaurant Abendbrot gegessen. Die Mahlzeiten waren sehr lecker, jedoch eher kleine Portionen und dafür recht teuer. Was wir als absolutes No Go empfanden war, dass dort ab 21 Uhr neben uns sauber gemacht/abgeräumt wurde. Wir waren mit 10 weiteren Gästen dann im Außenbereich (wie kleine Lounges) des Restaurants. Dort wurde neben uns und auch innerhalb unserer 4er-Sitzgruppe alles weggeräumt - selbst die Kissen der Sessel und des Sofas . Auch Lichter wurden nicht eingeschaltet. Dies alles erfolgte, obwohl das Restaurant bis 22 Uhr geöffnet hatte und noch mehrere Gäste augenscheinlich verweilen wollten. Zudem war es sehr schade, dass trotz der recht frühen Abendessenzeit (19.30 Uhr) nicht mehr alle Speisen auf der kleinen Menükarte verfügbar waren. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet (nur der Bereich Wurst/Käse) war kurz nach 8.00 Uhr bereits wie leergeräumt und wurde auch nicht nachgefüllt. Der Rest war aber in Ordnung. Durch die perfekte Bedienung am nächsten Tag (Patricia) wurde all dies jedoch wieder entschuldigt und ausgeglichen - dort waren die zu beanstandenden Punkte kein Thema mehr. Als wir die Kritikpunkte nannten, wurde von allen Angestellten super professionell damit umgegangen, so dass wir uns dennoch sehr willkommen fühlten. Was auch etwas schade war: es gab keinen wirklichen Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer (nicht die günstigste Preiskategorie). Wir konnten nur auf eine Mauer (wenige Meter entfernt) und ein Stromkabel gucken.

Margaret (9/5): A castle to ourselves during off season - It was a fun and different atmosphere, and a relaxing spot to spend a night while exploring central Slovakia. Staying mid-week during low season, the hotel was disconcertingly quiet. I’d imagine weekends and higher season see more traffic.
Kamila (10/5): Super zamek - Bardzo fajny zamek, komfortowy, duży apartament, super pomysł z pokojem Draculi, smaczne śniadanie, dobry wybór dań w restauracji, parking, miła obsługa. Wszystko było super, ale w apartamencie Draculi przydałyby się świeczki i zapałki, żeby zrobić dodatkowy klimat.
