• Aschwin (7/5): Ik had meer verwacht van het geheel. - relatief dicht bij het centrum. Je kunt vanaf het hotel diverse kanten op. eetgelegenheden op loopafstand. Het personeel is uitermate behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Een verstoring die ik had t.a.v. warm water in de douche werd goed opgepakt en afgehandeld. Het zwembad en de plaats daaromheen zijn wat out dated. Het water is niet verwarmd en zelfs op een warme dag is het water (te) koud. Het hotel ziet er in eerste instantie mooi uit, maar de gangen zijn out-dated. Je ziet duidelijk dat het een oud hotel is waar nog wel de nodige aanpassingen mogelijk zijn. Er is geen mogelijkheid tot het maken van koffie of iets dergelijks op de kamer. Hiervoor zijn geen voorzieningen. het "restaurant" is relatief karig en ook voorzien van ouderwets meubilair. Het menu is niet heel uitgebreid.

• Stephanie (6/5): - Sehr selten, dass ich das Personal mal als nicht besonders freundlich bewerte, hier war es aber tatsächlich der Fall! Darüber hinaus liegt das Hotel direkt gegenüber von einer Disco, wir hatten zwei Nächte Livemusik bis morgens um vier! Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, aber sehr in die Jahre gekommen! Wie das restliche Hotel ebenfalls! Absolut keine Empfehlung!

• Wolfgang Krüll (2/5): - Nach 5 Wochen Laos das schlechteste Hotel. Das Portal sieht toll aus, aber dann wird es gruselig. Das Wasser im Pool war sauber aber alles andere war schmuddelig oder funktionierte nicht (z.B. Toilette am Pool). Die Zimmer waren vielleicht mal ok, aber da ist seit vielen Jahren nichts renoviert worden. Das Frühstück war ganz ok.

Nach 4 Wochen Laos mit meist sehr einfach ausgestatteten Unterkünften, fühlte sich das Zimmer im Laithong Hotel geradezu luxuriös an Wir haben das Hotel unter anderem wegen der Nähe zum Flughafen gewählt. Mit dem kostenlos angebotenen shuttleservice braucht man kaum mehr als 5 Minten zum Flughafen, was bei einem frühen Flug recht angenehm ist. Zum night market war es weiter als gedacht. Aber da kann das Hotel nichts dafür
• Othmar (8/5): - Personal und Lage sehr gut. Das Haus ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, alles wirkt ein wenig vernachlässigt. Frühstück sehr fein, grosses Buffet mit grosser Auswahl. Lärmig von dem Musiklokal vis-a-vis bis kurz nach Mitternacht. Der Pool war angenehm aber sehr vernachlässigt und unaufgeräumt, schade !!

• M J (6/5): Cleanliness yes but food no. - The rooms are fine and the bathroom although 'ageing' was crucially kept clean, with hot water there for shaving! The real downside is breakfast. Instant coffee, white toast and supposedly a cooked item to be ordered. On morning 1, I asked for pork fried rice (Khao pad moo). It came slowly and was lukewarm at best. Either it was reheated (ineffectually) or it was cooked then left to go cold before coming to me. Any little street stall in Thailand knows fried rice comes piping hot from the vendor's wok: it is not hard to get right.

• Hans (2/5): - Kom till ett hotell som enligt boknings bilder verkande helt Ok men verkligheten var ett nerkört hotell som som hade sin storhetstid under 30 talet och det enda som är gjort sedan dess är nya toalettstolar,resten i total förfall, smutsigt, unken lukt. Poolområdet och poolen är ett stort skämt. Avråder från detta hotell.

We had a very large window with a great view. It was less than ten minutes from the airport. They offered us a free ride to the airport.

Dining and bar facilities are more like an abandoned banquet hall, there’s no pool unlike the photos, I paid to upgrade my room and the door doesn’t even close properly, there’s a huge gap between the door and top of the door frame. There’s 2 air conditioners in the room and they insisted on turning off the good one after my first night. Had to get into a huge argument to get them to turn it back on. Terrible hotel.

• Mats Ivar (10/5): Ubon Ratchatani - Vi har bott på Laithong ganska regelbundet under 20 års tid och det är ett bra hotell med god internationell frukost. Naturligtvis blir hotellet mer och mer slitet med åren men personalen väger upp detta tycker vi. Bra läge hyggligt nära flygplatsen med skyttelbussar för de boende.

• Armin (8/5): Nettes Personal,aber halt ab vom Trubel - Check in und Aufhendhalt war super,nur es gibt keinen Zimmersafe,nur eine Box an der Lobby,für die man sehr mühsam 2 Schlüssel suchte.Das Zimmer war Ok,Das Personal sehr nett,es gibt in Laufnähe 7/11 Bank mit Western Union,Garküchen,aber auch Restaurants.Ubon ist nicht wirklich die Touri Stadt,es gibt nicht viel zu sehen,aber wer Ruhe sucht,wird hier fündig.Central Plaza,eine Shopping Mall ist nicht weit weg,ca.100 Baht mit dem Taxi.Das Frühstück ist eher für Asiaten,aber ich kam klar.Der Flugplatz ist auch nur ca 100 Baht weit weg,gut 2,5 Euro.

• ろっきい (8/5): トラブルになりかかった - ウボンチャタニー市街の静かな老舗高級ホテルです。部屋は南向きの高層階で眺めがよく、設備は整っています。 ホテル前の通りにはカフェやレストランが増えました。新旧交代で閉まったスパもあり、ホテルの掲示にあったマッサージを頼みました。フロントで料金を確認し部屋付けにすることにしました。マッサージをしながら施術師が言う料金は契約と異なり、しかも自分に直接支払ってほしいというもの。マッサージを受けながらフロントに事情を電話すると、トラブル発生と思ったのか、責任者のベルキャプテンが部屋までやってきました。 施術師と何事かやりとりすると、彼女に直接言い値を支払ってほしいと言います。約束が違うと怒って皆追い返してもよかったのですが、了承してマッサージを続けてもらいました。 ホテル内に公示した料金です。フロントに金額、支払い方法を確認してマッサージをお願いしたのに納得いきませんでした。マッサージ師もしばしば性的な誘惑を繰り返し、ここではもう頼もうとは思いません。 ダブルチャージされないように、フロントで両替してもらってその目の前で支払いました。

• kazu (6/5): - 空港から近いです。スタッフは明るく気持ち良いです。 ホテルに無料の貸し出し自転車があり、ウボンは見るとこも少なく近いので観光に使わさせてもらいました。 プールはあリますが、浄化してなくとても入れる状態ではないです。 朝食のメニューは毎日同じでしたが種類があり、味もそこそこ良かったです。 ホテルのそばにイサーン料理も食べれるとこもありますし、近くに大きな病院があり、そこにコンビニ、屋台、食堂があります。 ホテルから空港へは頼めば無料で送ってくれます。

• K (8/5): 田舎のタイを満喫できる - ホテル前の道を左に進むと、３０mと１００m先にレストランあり。１００m先のレストランを右手に曲がり４０mでセブンイレブン。ここには某国の団体観光客も来ないのでゆっくり静かに過ごせた。
