- Xavier (6/5): Peut mieux faire ! - La proximité du centre L'accueil, très procédurier et bureaucratique (dépôt de caution, remplir des formulaires), une ambiance de contrôle et d'interdiction règne dans l'hôtel (caméras partout), la totale inefficacité des deux personnes à l'accueil, qui parlent très mal anglais, et qui ne comprennent absolument pas l'état d'esprit des voyageurs : ils appliquent des procédures, c'est assez déroutant... Le patron est complètement parano et ça se voit...

- Fabrice (4/5): Un supplément demandé à l’arrivée - Hôtel réservé pour 2 adultes et 1 enfant, aucun lit enfant prévu sauf à payer un supplément surprise à l’arrivee. Le manager a été très peu aimable et pas du tout conciliant. Par ailleurs il y a des menaces partout dans l’hôtel : si vous faites telle ou telle chose vous aurez telle amende. Vraiment pas une bonne ambiance. Par ailleurs la literie est très dure, ps de rideaux occultants et insonorisation inexistante : vous entendez la chambre du voisin et les oiseaux comme s’ils étaient dans votre chambre. C’est pas cher mais vraiment pas une bonne expérience

- Keith (4/5): Not worth it to me, not even for one night. It was a nice place though. Too bad - Bed was comfortable and the A/C worked. That’s about it. The walls were so thin I could hear someone’s sheets in the next room ruffle when they moved. Also there were two women bickering and arguing with each other at the top of their lungs all night in Thai. Felt like I was taking crazy pills. It seemed like they were right in the room with me. That was in one side of the wall. The other side had what sounded like a card game going till about 4 in the morning.

No smoking on the balcony. Staff are unfriendly, not even a smile back most of the time. Shower is awful; in all the hostels/hotels we’ve stayed for the past month this one is the worst. No bedside table to use. The lift gets extremely hot. Housekeeping happened once across 3 nights.

- Wijayane (8/5): A good place to stay in a quiet town. - It was a good stay. The entrance to the parking lot was a bit "hidden" and had to be observed very carefully, otherwise you'll miss the turn. The staff were nice and friendly. The room was clean and comfy. The hotel is close to a small, local shopping mall.

- Inthava Annie (10/5): Au calme à Pakmeng, chambre propre et sympa - Chambre propre et agréable. Hôtel très bien situé, au calme, et à 10 pas de la plage. Les restaurants de la rue sont accessibles à pied. Très bien pour une nuit de passage sur Pakmeng en attendant le transfert bateau vers Koh Ngai. Pakmeng beach est une plage très sereine, pas sensationnelle en eau et en sable, mais le panorama est joli et zen (vue sur les iles voisines). Endroit très thai et très familial. Peu de touristes occidentaux.

Personnellement j'avais une chambre au 5 ème étage avec une vue splendide. Il y a une loggia pour toutes les chambres. C'est un hôtel pour personnes de passage. Hôtel très calme. Grande chambre mais aspect froid. Il manque cruellement une table de nuit et une lampe de chevet afin qu'on puisse lire. Il faut se lever pour éteindre la lumière. Un détail qui compte à mon goût et il serait peu coûteux d'y remédier. Sinon je recommande sans problème cet hôtel.

There was shoppingmall and supermarket very near but location was bit far away from trainstation and mainstreet. Hotel’s stuff were nice and our room was clean and comfortable.

- Jacob (10/5): Great budget hotel in Trang City - The hotel was exactly what I was expecting. It was a great place to stay for an overnight in Trang before heading to Pakmeng/Sikao. The room was very clean, and everything seemed new. Neighborhood was quiet, but there was local street food and a 7/11 very close nearby. The hotel staff was FANTASTIC, and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient hotel for a short stay in Trang - We stayed for three night while visiting Trang.The Garden Hill Mansion is located quite a bit of walking from the centre of Trang but very close to the local night market that is open from Friday to Sunday night from around 5pm. The hotel is clean and has got a very nice and helpful reception staff. There is no breakfast included but there are some places around that you can find some Thai rice or soup for breakfast, or just go to the nearest supermarket which is in a very short walking distance from the hotel. The price for the accommodation is just right but please make sure before making a booking that you can sleep comfortably on a very hard mattress as it may be of a problem if you prefer soft beds. I always like the bed to be firm but even I was surprised by the mattress in the room.

There is a daily food and cloth night market just 400m away, a mall around the corner, and a morning fresh market with awesome food ~600m away. Very convenient for our brief stop in trang. The rooms are new. Much better than other older hotels in trang that you may have to pay double the price for.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location, clean hotel & room - Just a few nights here, tried to add on nights but hotel was fully booked so moved a bit outside the city centre. Front desk staff were very helpful. We rented a motorbike from the for a day and they arranged drop off and pick up from the company at the hotel at our requested times for a competitive price. Location was excellent, very close to the bus/train stations, night markets, and town centre. Room was very clean and comfortable.
- Monica (8/5): A stopover in Trang - It was a 3 day stay before heading to Don Sam and Koh Samui. Comfortable room and friendly staff. The managers were able to help me find a doctor for an ear problem and helped me find the night market and other shops.
- Luke A (6/5): Generally good but occasionally noisy - We enjoyed our stay at the Garden Hill Mansion. It's a little way out of the centre of town (ie. the railway station), but easily walkable, and if you're feeling lazy or have bags a tuk tuk is 60B. It's also convenient for the night market near the Town Hall. The hotel itself is new and clean, and our room came with a little balcony as well. The main downside was that sound-proofing was not considered when it was built, so you can hear everything echo down the corridors. The staff speak a little bit of English, but not a huge amount. This was never a problem though. Apart from that, it was a good stay.
