Guest Reviews
- Guest (10/5): -
- Henry Husemann (7/5): -
- Guest (1/5): - Không có phòng khi đặt
- vicki (2/5): Do not recommend This hotel at all - The bed was comfortable Cold showers
We came home one night to a bat flying around in our room. Have no idea how it got in there.
Air conditioning unit leaked onto the bed right beside my pillow.
- Hercules (3/5): Poor -
- Tyler (6/5): Pleasant -
- Richard (6/5): TN Central not great! - Comfortable bed. Good shower. Very noisy Saturday ( outside nightclub music) and little/no hotel sound reduction.
As per my last visit the fire stairs were continually obstructed by large piles of bed linen etc. unacceptable! I will not stay here again.
- Hercules (4/5): Disappointing -
- Maddie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Voyage63318115231 (2/5): Joke of a hotel. Avoid at all costs. - I booked this hotel for 2 nights and turned up and was refused a room as it did not have air conditioning. I told them I didn't mind, I was tired, just give me the room. They refused. I then had to walk around Saigon with my bag looking for a new hotel. as it was last minute I had to pay an expensive price.
- Quoc (2/5): Horrible. - Location is good. Too old, towels are darkly old, corridors are dirty, water is running everywhere from the shower, toilet seat is not in right position, stuff in the room is too old, staff are not friendly.
- Nisthar (6/5): Pleasant -
- Cat (4/5): Would not recommend! - The bed was comfortable, good location and the staff were nice, that’s all. So dirty! For $50aud a night you would expect them to at least attempt to clean the room! Was happy to leave.
- Vitalijus (8/5): Very good -
- Tien (3/5): Poor -
- Baasansuren (5/5): Passable -
- Ng (9/5): Superb -
- Noel (5/5): Ok for 1-2 days. No longer. - The location was very good and convenient.
A working refrigerator.
Nice bathroom.
Friendly staff who tried to be helpful but there did seem to be some communication barriers. Probably the worst wifi of any hotel in the 21st century. If you are reliant on an internet connection the pass on this hotel.
My room wasn't ready so I was "upgraded" to another room which seems to be the same room with an extra bed stuffed into it making it actually worse than the room I was moved into the next day. Is it difficult to have the room that you booked ready?
- Luis (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location
- Hoang (4/5): Disappointing -
- Nicolina (9/5): A bit far from hustle and bustle - Best beds of our trip so far. Good mattresses and pillows. Good size rooms. Friendly staff especially the lady on front desk
- Sui (3/5): Dissapointed. - Just the location. But there are other hotels nearby too. We will not be returning back again & recommend other better & cheap hotels to stay nearby this area:
1. The BATHROOM PLUMBING CLOGGED! The shower water took 10 minutes to drain out & TOILET HAD SEWAGE SMELL due to bad plumbing.
2. On New Years eve, the WATER RAN YELLOW TILL 8AM The next morning.
3. ROOM FLOOR & BED SHEETS WETE BIT DUSTY.
4. We requeated for late check out 4.00pm. We were late 40 minutes & they persisted to bill us the extra hour.
We did not make a fuss about the horrible plumbing experience, so the hotel should give us some allowance.
- Thanomwan (3/5): Poor - Location was good.
Just only this. Lots of dust. Dirty towel and bed sheet.
Dirty…
The worst place I used to stay.
They totally not clean the room before I check in. I found chicken bones and rotten fruit and drinks from the previous guests inside the fridge on the day I checked in.
Front staff just listen to the problem but not take it into the action to solve the problem.
Not worth the money I paid.
I will never ever go back there again.
Sorry for saying too honest.
- Kien (1/5): Bad -
- Doyeon (1/5): Without location..Nothing - only location
Man staff’s kindness(Woman no..) Cleaning status is so suck.. We got cockroaches in the room, but they didn’t apologize about this. Even they claim us we smoke in the room(We didn’t. We just throw away cigarette box in the trashcan after smoke outside.), and said cockroaches came out because of the smoking.(So ridiculous)
- Abimanyu (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sarann (1/5): Bad - The owner asked me to cancel the booking last minute. This is very bad. Not recommended to book this hotel.
- Viet (1/5): A never comeback horrible stay - Only the location Hygiene is very bad, staffs attitude is very poor.
- Thien (3/5): Uncomfortable - Good location. Near city attractions Old, not clean and carefully maintained.
- Dusan (3/5): Poor - It is super central. 1. They didn't have rooms we booked and offered us one same as booked and one more expensive room, which we accepted because we arrived at midnight with small kids. We jad to pay extra 200k. One room was on 3rd floor and one on 9th floor, even though we asked for connected rooms.
2. The rooms look nothing like photos on booking.com.. They are old, dirty, and run down.
3. In one of the rooms, there were stains of s*** on the toilet seat and walls in bathroom, the noise from some kind of pump inside was unbearable, there were no windows, bed mattress was bent in the middle, and bed was squeeking. There were flying bugs on walls and the room was in general a nightmare.
4. Towels and bedsheets were yellow and looked like not washed.
5. At the reception, a caterpillar fell on my head. It looked pretty run down and dirty even from the entrance at the reception. And there is a massage parlour at the reception.
- Robert (5/5): Passable -
- Aki (7/5): Good location. - The location is really good, centre of Hochiminh city, close to Opera.
At upper floor, you can enjoy city view. The facility was old, and sometimes had problem.
- Takehide (7/5): Good -
- Mollie (3/5): Won’t be back - The bed was uncomfortable and the sheet came off in the night so you were stuck to the plastic mattress. The door to the room didn’t lock and neither did my locker, felt unsafe. The air con unit was leaking so there was a pool of water on the floor in the room and the bathroom shower drains were blocked so it flooded while i was in there
- Nkosi (7/5): Good - Friendly and welcoming receptionist. Spacious room. Perfect location, close to amenities and ideal for shopping. The room wasn't properly cleaned after the previous occupant. The mirror were dusty and bathroom door still had stains/dirt.
The were no windows. There was a weird smell in the room. The air com emulated a not so pleasant smell which made my sinus worse.
You have to tell reception to organize someone to clean your room when you leave the hotel. I got charged 200 000 vnd for checking out late even though I made prior arrangements
- Kosuke (8/5): Good location! - Basic things were furnished. The way of some water from shower head was a little in wrong way
- Richard (7/5): I'd return if I needed to. - Excellent location Didn't know there was a massage business in the lobby.
- Henry (7/5): Good -
- Joseph (5/5): Passable - Fantastic location. It can be a gem if owner takes care of the property. Too much neglect of the property.
- Son (8/5): value for money - very good location, close to the center cleaning is messy a little
- Anh (7/5): Good -
- Othmane (4/5): Disappointing -
- Hajime (4/5): Disappointing - Good location Room is not clean, bathroom is also not clean
- Anh (7/5): It’s OK - Location The manager behavior and old facilities
- Anh (7/5): It was OK - Location Staff (I guess the manager, not the staff), old facilities
- Thảo (8/5): Very good -
- Dwi (8/5): Have to move to another room while having relax time - Location
Very big room
At the first room that we got we have 2 twin bed but both king size and double bed which is very nice , then the next day in the afternoon they asked us to change the room because the room that we used will do aome repair they said, the thing was that afternoon we just came back and so tired but they asked us to move asap on that day, we have around 3hours to move after negotiation but still felt not comfortable enough because our time to rest we just used to pack and move to another room..
the second rooms still big enough for 2 of us, and got the real twin bed, The first room was so perfect, I almost give review 10 of 10, but unfortunately the second 2 was not well prepared.
We waited more than 10 minutes to fixing the locks (the new room was under repair)
The floor in second rooms looks dirty and have some hair when we just moved in,
The drainage in the bathroom was floating everytime we use for shower
The ac not cold enough not like in the first room..
But still both rooms was so big which is point plus
- Jason (10/5): All good - Cozy room, perfect location and very friendly and helpful staff!!
- Thanh (9/5): Superb -
- Garry (5/5): was ok, not great or good - location not into complaining/likes etc about hotels.
- Jacob (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (1/5): Bad -
- Alan (5/5): Passable - Place is slowly getting worse. Have booked over 40 rooms nights in the past. Have gone now to other hotels with my guests. They did not listen to my feedback. Moved on.
- Sandar (5/5): Passable -
- Lim (7/5): I very like the location of the hotel - Location The wardrobe is a bit old
- Richard (9/5): Great place to stay. Location brilliant, price very good, clean and tidy with brilliant shower - Perfect central location. Fabulous Annan Goumet cafe next door. Wonderful bathroom shower. Quiet. Helpful staff. Excellent price. For me the bed not so good. I think a bit old, hard, not comfortable.
- Tim (9/5): Superb - Great value for money considering the location and they take card payment which is always a plus! Bathroom sink seemed to be hanging off the wall at a weird angle after what looked like countless repair attempts and loo cistern took forever to fill up but I'm being picky!
- Alessio (1/5): Bad - I didn’t have the opportunity to stay in the hotel. When I arrived there, after a 9 hours flight, they told me that the room I booked wasn’t available because the bathroom was broken. They send me a message while I was flying to Ho Chi Minh, so I wasn’t able to read it. That night they didn’t have other free rooms and I had to walk around to find another hotel. Strange situations, not fun for me.
- Natasha (7/5): Good - Good location and room size. Not the cleanest place I've stayed in.
- Maeva (7/5): Good -
- Colin (2/5): A total dive - Good Location This place is a real dump - the room smells like stale cigarettes and mould, everything is cracked and peeling, the room isn’t clean, with filth and random things under the bed. The staff are a ragtag group of guys without uniforms who are nice enough and try their best, but they don’t speak any English. I never usually write reviews but there are so many better options around for the money. Go elsewhere.
- Ana (8/5): Walkable and Comfortable - SUPER close to EVERYTHING. We did not take even one taxi to go anywhere except the airport. Also, there is a mini store right next to the store to buy water etc. The rooms are ok, it was clean and comfortable. At the beginning we got afraid since the googl reviews were so different from booking, but our room was ok and it also match the price we paid. We only stayed 2 days here.
Also, for the first time in Vietnam, i did not hear hunkings from the room, since there is no windows. We were next to the elevator so you hear anybody who leave and comes, luckily not so much going after midnight. Stains on the walls.
- Samuel (3/5): Good location with poor rooms and service. - The location The staff keep you waiting whilst checking in. The bathroom smelled funny. The rooms next to the elevator are noisy and the doors slam loudly. On the way out- they can see me struggling to open the door with all my luggage, but no - four of them would rather sit down and laugh and chat loudly. It's not a cafe- you are the staff and you should help your customers. I wouldn't return to this hotel. It's a shame, as it could be an amazing hotel.
- Ahmed517 (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (8/5): Very good - Great location, basic rooms & facilities but clean & very cheap for the location. Worth paying a little extra for the 'deluxe' room at the top that has a great view of the river.
- Kj (3/5): All said above. - It was very central to where I had to be. It was cheap. I hate baths, too old to be crawling in and out. Couldn’t get the tv to work, not that I spent much time there. Bed creaked. Staff very inexperienced with little English. In other words, you get what you pay for.
- Dirk (9/5): Superb -
- Mckinney (8/5): Very good -
- Durairaj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bdarma1 (8/5): Very good -
- Nhật (8/5): Okay place for a night - The bed is extra big and comfy The hallway need maintenance.
- Terry (6/5): Pleasant - It’s basic, but the location is good, nice and close to the city centre. Room was a bit small with one small window that wasn’t very accessible. A little more maintenance could have been done with a few things.
Would stay there again if other options were not available.
- Lida (8/5): Very good -
- Matilda (2/5): Very poor - Let us check in 1 hour early.
The location is fantastic and location is the only reason we extended our stay by 1 day, as we needed to be bang central for a day tour on our last day.
YouTube on the TV.
Good Wi-Fi.
Good aircon but very loud. Very run down hotel, lobby and corridors very messy and felt unclean.
Check in staff were very friendly and helpful but some staff looked right through you or didn’t even acknowledge you at all. Didn’t feel like guests sometimes.
Our room looked nothing like the photos. I’m not sure if we was dumped in an unpleasant room due to checking in early but when walking past another room with the door open, it look a-bit better.
The room smelt bad of cigarettes, we advised the staff as we didn’t want them to think it was us & the fact it was unpleasant, the lady just sprayed the room with a room spray which didn’t really help, no offer to change to a non smoking room.
Room furniture falling to bits, bed was dipped in the middle due to broken slats.
Bed looked slept in.
Door handle of bathroom falling off.
Only 2 plug sockets worked out of maybe 8.
Had one big teapot and 1 mug for 2 people. No kettle in the room but looking at the pile of kettles in reception either they have removed them from the rooms or you have to ask for one.
Windows don’t shut properly so noise from the karaoke bar at the back kept us up until after 1am 2 of the 4 nights.
I’ve been travelling SEA for 3 months and this is the first hotel I’ve walked in and instantly felt really disappointed. I hate being negative but this needs to be noted, it has the potential to be a really good hotel.
- Siddharth (5/5): Book only in emergency. - Location is good. Price of room is reasonable. They overbooked hotel and on my arrival my room was already given to someone else. They moved me to third class room. The reason they gave was that the room is under repair and stupid staff allotted me room just opposite to my room. I could see guest accessing the room. Next day they gave me to the room. Room front wall was wet and swollen, uncleaned corners. And they wanted me to pay 30% extra, if i want to checkout at 13:00 instead of 12:00.
- Taro (3/5): Poor - location and staff was good the building is old and room wasn't cleaned enough.
- Nathan (8/5): Very good -
- Gilles (8/5): Very good -
- Serena301 (8/5): Very good -
- Mollie (9/5): Perfect location and very comfortable stay! - The location was absolutely amazing, it is so close to absolutely everything that you want/need to see in Ho Chi Minh. We were able to walk everywhere! Right in the centre surrounded by shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. The bed was super comfortable. Shower was very powerful and had hot water. Staff were friendly and did our laundry for us for a reasonable price. Our room had no window which we found slightly annoying after 4 nights but not a huge deal. The air con also started spouting out water after being on for about 30 mins but when we went down to reception on our way out and told them and it was sorted when we got back.
- Madeleine (1/5): Relocated to a worse hotel and attempted to scam us :( - … Hard to say what we did like because weren’t allowed to stay there. Upon arrival we were told our rooms were “damaged” and that we would be staying in their sister hotel the Queen Central (which was much lower rated). We were sceptical that as it was Chinese New Year the rooms were oversold but we didn’t complain as the receptionist was friendly and paid for our taxi and were told the rooms would be the same price. Admittedly, this is the least that we should expect given that we were being put out of our way and it wasn’t even that we were likely to be a “no show” since we kept them posted constantly on our estimated arrival time from our bus journey from Phnom Penh.
At their sister hotel we were initially charged the agreed amount, the total that was stated on our booking on booking.com and that the receptionist assured we would be charged. Fortunately we paid on card as then minutes later, once we were up in our room, the receptionist turned up to the door and insisted that we’d only paid for one night/ half the room rate. We firstly proved that we had paid the full amount by showing my online banking. This was then disputed by saying that this wasn’t the full amount. We then said no we’ve paid the total amount as is stated on the booking, showing my booking information and the receptionist then argued that the total amount written was the total amount for one night only (not the two we were staying). Again we said that this was not the case and finally he dropped it saying he would check the system and ran back downstairs. It was not brought up again. Thankfully we hadn’t paid in cash as we could clearly show that the amounts paid matched.
After being moved to a different, worse, hotel (which took us an hour) we hoped for abit more hospitality and this was not a warm welcome we hoped for. The rooms had mould, ants and could hear everything from the corridor - it sounded like people were coming into the room constantly.
- Denis (4/5): Disappointing -
- Andreas (8/5): Very good - Central location, helpful staff. Beds OK (1 hard, 1 softer). Shower cabin. Quiet room in 9th floor. Two small supermarkets nearby.
- Baptiste (8/5): Very good - Very well located and modern bathroom with shower separated from the cabinet. Beds are big and comfortable.
Only minus would be that there is no breakfast included. Great price point though. Will come again.
- Simon (5/5): Passable -
- Silja (4/5): Bad smell from bathroom - Good location Not clean, uncomfortable bed, smelly bathroom. Did not match with pictures.
- Edward (6/5): Pleasant -
- Edward (6/5): Pleasant - Bed sheet not change 3 day while I stay and was dirty when I check-in
- Milena (3/5): Hotel is very dirty - Location We stayed at a hotel recently, and unfortunately, it was far from satisfactory. The room was unclean, with dust on surfaces and a musty smell. The bathroom showed signs of neglect, and overall, the lack of cleanliness made for an uncomfortable stay.
- Peter (4/5): I would rate this hotel poorly due to the excessive street noise that persists both day and night - Very central location I would rate this hotel room poorly due to the excessive street noise that persists both day and night. The lack of proper insulation and the inability to fully close the windows significantly amplified the disturbance, making it a very uncomfortable stay.
- Peter (4/5): Very loud, the windows cannot be properly closed, and it's on a very busy street (day-night). - The location was good Very loud, the windows cannot be properly closed, and it's on a very busy street (day-night). No hot water, only for a two hours period at night. Additionally, hot water is only available for a two-hour period at night. I was also charged an extra cleaning fee because the sheet had a stain on it from when my girlfriend was on her period.
- Lâm (4/5): Disappointing -
- Randall (7/5): A well-located hotel at a reasonable price, still worth it even if it is not in perfect condition. - The best part about this hotel is its location. It's really centrally located, near pretty much every place that I wanted to visit in the city. And the staff are really very kind and helpful. The hotel itself is a bit run down, but that is compensated by the reasonable price. So I would say that it represented a fair value for money for a hotel in the best location possible. The hotel is a bit old and in need of an upgrade. But if it were upgraded, then the price would be higher, and I probably wouldn't have stayed there. So it's good to have a reasonably priced hotel in a premier location.
- Kim (5/5): Passable -
- Titus (7/5): Good -
- Novel (5/5): Not worth for your the money find other hotel - The location It's dirty ,the room are smelly and dump
- Aravinth (5/5): Passable -
- James (7/5): Good -
