• Helena (6/5): - Hade bokat ett rum med terrass, men fick det minsta rummet utan terass 😔. Liten dubbelsäng 140 cm. Ingen tv på rummet. Hittade inget allrum där kaffe skulle finnas 😞 Annars bra läge och trevliga ägare.
• Amimo (4/5): A éviter - Malgré un très bon accueil, il faut mieux ne pas s'arrêter dans ce "Bed and Breakfast" sans breakfast. Il semble qu'il y ait des problèmes de gérance en cours.
• Bradley (2/5): Bad Hosting - The room was large and comfortable, location good and hosts friendly however there were a few items that we simply can’t look past. We were provided a piece or two of dry toast and some juice for breakfast every morning. This was not what was advertised and really put a dampener on the experience. In addition, even though we were there for 4 nights and 5 days our room wasn’t serviced once. We were left with the same towels for the duration of the stay so by the end they were quite manky even though we dried them every day. There was also a number of signs all over the unit telling you what you can and can’t do. This is very offputting. We also requested tea, the hosts didn’t have so were forced to get our own. We also had to buy our own milk for tea and even had to EY our own cereal for breakfast.
• Daisy (8/5): Great place to stay if you’re heading to Florence - Guelfi e Ghibellini was a great place for my boyfriend and I to stay while we were in Florence, especially as we are students and are a bit tight for money. The family run business has recently been managed by the two brothers and they were nothing but friendly, attentive, professional, funny and kind. They made us feel very welcome and ensured a comfortable stay in the city. It is around a 20 minute walk to basically everything, making it relatively more quiet than some central hotels. We were not given breakfast at all but we really didn’t mind and would definitely recommend as well as return if/when we go to Florence again.

• prado (4/5): - hotel situé à 1 trentaine de minutes à pieds du centre ville la chambre spacieuse ventilateur fonctionnait literie et serviettes ok j entendait les bruits de la rue A mon arrivée pas de réponse à la sonnette d'entrée j ai dû crier plusieurs fois dans la rue ! heureusement des fenêtres étaient ouvertes on m'a ouvert la porte Mr Rimondo est venu pas de carte de crédit pour pour le dépôt de garantie pas de navette aéroport les services promis à revoir personnel polyglotte juste 2 ou 3 mots de français 1 peu d'anglais. pdj continental : 4 biscottes( souvent au moins 2 cassées) 2 petites portions de confiture 1 petite brique de jus! pas de plateau thé/café ni à disposition pas ménage durant mon séjour c moi qui vidé corbeille la télé n a jamais fonctionné pas journaux l'assistance aux visites consiste à mettre à disposition 1 plan et 1 brochure pour faire excursions je n'ai pas vu accessibilité pour personne à mobilité réduite pas ascenseur je montait les 3 étages à pieds malgré 1 petit souci aux genoux pas de minibar juste 1 petit frigo pas nettoyé j'ai eu accès à la salle de toilette privée que le lendemain en fin après midi elle n'était pas prête pas de service d'étage j'ai pris la photo de espace commun : tout était entreposé le sac poubelle pas vidé le matériel de nettoyage ..des papiers partout! un bureau très encombré 1 chaise en plein milieu de la pièce sur laquelle il y avait rouleau de papier toilette et essuie tout quand je suis partie à 10h45 réception fermée
• Taiane (6/5): Decepção - Deception describes my experience at this B&B. At first we felt cheated as we chose to pay a little extra to have a private bathroom and were placed in a shared bathroom room. When we realized the error, we informed the owner, including showing him the printed reservation of Hotels.com, informing that we chose the private bathroom, and he did not pay much attention, just said he would settle it the next day and left, being Stayed for 3 nights and he never came back to us to solve the problem. We noticed that there were guests in the room with private bathrooms in the same period as us, which would suggest that the room was rented for two guests at the same time. At no time did we even receive an apology for what happened, not even the return of the amount paid more for the room with private bathroom. We arrived around 6:00 pm on a Wednesday, exhausted after walking about 35 minutes from Santa Maria Novella station with heavy suitcases and after we rang the doorbell, the door opened automatically and we were greeted with the owner screaming to get up to the second floor, four flights of stairs. We do not regard it as rudeness, but as typical Tuscan behavior, despite the rush to explain in Italian about the town and leave soon thereafter. The B&B is about a half hour walk from the center, and easy access by bus. Spacious room with fan only, quiet neighborhood. We did not eat breakfast as it was served after 8:30am and we always left early, and decided to have it in a cofee shop
• Ahmet (4/5): Aman uzak durun. - Gitmeden önce geliş saatinizi bildirmeniz şart biz bildirememiştik gittiğimizde ev kapalıydı, sonra yanımıza konaklayacak bir çift daha geldi onlar geliş saatlerini bildirip ok almışlar ancak onlarda bizimle beraber 2 saat beklediler. Hostel sahibi çok kaba, özür bile dilemeyip işi pişkinliğe vurdu. Elimizdeki onayda kahvaltı dahil yazmasına rağmen bu fiyata kahvaltı olmaz deyip kahvaltı vermedi. Hava bizce serindi, ek örtü istedik 5 Euro dedi, ortak tuvalete çok az tuvalet kağıdı koyuyor sabah bitmiş oluyor şampuan veriyor sabun yok. Kendi çöpünüzü dökmeniz gerekiyormuş, Velhasıl korkunçtu
• Verified traveler (4/5): Schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis - Diese Unterkunft ist leider nicht empfehlenswert. Die Stadt Florenz ist sehr schön und man sollte sie auf jeden Fall in einer anderen Unterkunft genießen, wo man einen besseren Service erhält. Die Homepage täuscht falsche Tatsachen vor. Für mich eine enttäuschende Erfahrung...

• Vladimir (6/5): Лучше выберите другой отель - Администратора ждали около 40 мин. на улице . На этаже 3 комнаты .Внутри чисто , холодно . Концепция отеля интересна - интерьер выполнен в ретро стиле. Но! Заявленными бесплатными завтраками не кормили , хозяин объяснил, что они за дополнительную плату .Кроме того, убирали мусор из комнаты сами (в описании отеля обещали ежедневную уборку). Хозяин нервный , постоянно ворчал. Взяли чайник из соседней пустой комнаты - начал ругаться,предлагал разогреть чай в декоративном чайнике на гильзовых свечках! Кухня закрывалась на замок . В комнате - ни стаканов , ни столовых принадлежностей . Из плюсов : пешая пятиминутная доступность до набережной реки Арно , а основные достопримечательности находятся вдоль этой реки . Флоренция - прекрасна ! Ничто не может омрачить впечатлений , даже не комфортное размещение . Римские каникулы длились 3 полных дня . За это время вполне можно посетить основные значимые места : Колизей,Римский форум ( входной билет от Колизея действует 2 дня), музеи Ватикана , Пантеон, площадь Венеции на Капитолийском холме , фонтан Треви, ну и проехаться с обзорной экскурсией на красном туристическом автобусе .
• Verified traveler (10/5): Un bon séjour - Un B&B très confortable (grande chambre et grand lit, le tout très propre) dans un quartier calme quoique un tout petit peu loin du centre. Accueil très chaleureux malheureusement, une des personnes qui gèrent le B&B n'était pas là, aussi les petits-dèj' continentaux n'étaient pas assurés. Panier de petit-dèj' très correct avec thé-café à volonté, en chambre à la place, dommage qu'on ait oublié de nous le renouveler une fois. Autre petit bémol : les toilettes dans la salle de bain partagée ce qui crée forcément des embouteillages le matin. Néanmoins nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et les prix sont très avantageux !

• Verified traveler (2/5): B&B à fuir - Pour bien commencer dès notre arrivée nous avons dû payer 40 euros car nous sommes arrivés à 21hainsi que 24 euros de taxe de séjour (pour 4 nuits à 2 personnes) soit 64 en cash obligatoirement sans quoi il fallait prendre nos affaires et quitter le B&B (déjà payé). Nous avions également payé pour une salle externe privée qui s'est révélée être partagée avec une autre chambre. Pour le petit déjeuner il y avait une panière dans la chambre contenant en tout :2 sachets de 2 biscottes, 1 madeleine, 1 mini gâteau type "napolitain", 2 mini boites en plastique de confiture et 2 gobelets cartons ainsi qu'une petite table dans l'entrée avec un nécessaire pour se faire une boisson chaude. Pour se faire un thé ou un café il a fallut aller remplir une bouteille d'eau aux toilettes. Pour ce petit déjeuner frugal sur la table de chambre nous n'avions qu'une seule chaise. Le lendemain matin notre panière n'avait pas été remplie et nous avons dû récupérer nos gobelets dans la poubelle pour pouvoir nous faire un café. Nous avons dû quémander pour avoir un petit déjeuner pour le surlendemain ainsi que de nouveaux gobelets. Le dernier jour, il n'y avait plus de filtre à café. De plus, nous nous sommes rendus compte par mégarde que la clé de notre chambre ouvrait également la chambre d'à côté. Je ne parle pas de la crasse générale du B&B et des multiples panneaux d'interdiction ou de menace placardés partout.

En fait dès notre arrivée, il nous a été précisé qu'il n'y en avait pas (alors que c'est censé être un bed and Breakfast) mais à la place nous avions un "cestino" sorte de corbeille avec des produits de basse qualité dedans, (jus de basse qualité de supermarché) alors que nous pensions pouvoir faire une beau petit-déjeuner le matin (collazione).Très déçu sur ce point avec le sentiment d'avoir été trompé.

• Danila (4/5): Готовьтесь потратить пол дня на заезд - Бронировали размещение с завтраком, на месте оказалось, что завтраков нет и не бывает. Тогда почему отель b&b? Очень очень большие проблемы с заездом: ресепшн отсутствует, в обозначенные часы заезда никого из персонала не было, хотя въезжали днём. По телефонам, указанным на сайте отеля и на сайте hotels.com дозвониться невозможно, в поддержку hotels.com тоже невозможно дозвониться! Чудом нашли номер мобильного на ящике для почты в подъезде (повторяю, этот номер НИГДЕ не был указан). Хозяин отеля не говорит по английски, с трудом по телефону объяснили, что ждем уже два часа. Душевая общая и совмещена с туалетом, попасть в неё невозможно, так как много народу. Прожили 4 ночи, в номере ни разу не убирались, полотенца не меняли и даже не вынесли мусор (на сайте написано, что уборка ежедневная, а в отеле написано, что уборка каждые три дня). В ванной тоже грязно. Вся мебель старая, но не критично. Из окон дует, нет кондиционера. Можно бесплатно выпить одну чашку сомнительного чая или кофе в день. Из плюсов - номер просторный и расположение, 15 минут пешком до основных достопримечательностей. В целом не советую останавливаться в данном отеле, так как приехав на пару дней вы потеряете пол дня на заезд.
• Bozhidar (2/5): Canceled the booking without our knowledge - On the 31st of December, we are there for 3pm check in, as everything is confirmed. I made the booking 4 months in advance,just to find out was canceled and nobody let me know,the money I paid were not refund...I have been told I am in Italy,so I do have to speak italian and find new place to stay,but is new year eve. The booking was canceled,because I bought cheap offer and the price change(at least they could let me know)..everywhere is fully booked I'm in Florence and the price is different in the last moment check in...after 4 hours looking for hotel and 3hours on the phone with expedia we found place to stay...was really stresfull! After so many travels around Europe,that was the 1st time,we were left out site on the street with our luggage,on the 31st of December
• Beatrice (4/5): Deludente sorpresa. - Siamo arrivate con mia figlia avendo scelto una camera con bagno privato esterno e ci è stato dato un bagno comune al piano di sotto la nostra stanza. Ho cercato nelle offerte un b&b che avesse una buona colazione, non la desideravo sostanziosa ma buona e vedendo le foto e leggendo delle brioches fresche o il dolce fatto dalla proprietaria ero felice della scelta fatta ma abbiamo trovato gia dal check in alle 15 la colazione in stanza con merendine confezionate e neanche un caffe' espresso da poter prendere . L'idea di alzarmi e non potermi accomodare ad un tavolino a far colazione e condividere questo piacere mi ha delusa. (Ps anche le altre ospiti parlando della colaziine sono rimaste deluse da questa scelta.)

The breakfast was not like the ones that you have in a hotel but it was perfect make us feel like home! the room was very clean the bathroom also even if it was a shared one it was very clean!!! the owners are very friendly and helpful! they cared about our vacation help us with maps and suggested us places to eat drink or walk in Florence. We stayed 8 nights and you are definitely going to stay there again! Our next trip in Florence includes this B&B!!! its was amazing !!! my and my girlfriend had a great time there!
• Sarah (10/5): Wonderful Italian hospitality - Amazing hospitality... The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable.. The shared bathroom was spacious and we never saw the other guests so cues weren't an issue. Although we didn't have the breakfast it looked and smelled amazing... It is a 5-7 minute walk to the town loop buses, which leave every 10 minutes or so. We wished we could have stayed loner than our 2 nights. Highly recommend this gorgeous BnB.
• Michel (4/5): Not a good value for the price. - Not a good value for the price. Very ordinary room in old building. No elevators, bathroom is private but separate, too soft mattress, host speaks very little English and is very rigid about rules. I would give it a 2 star rating, acceptable as a plan B but not for the price I paid.

• Alexandra (6/5): We're melting - The reservation said it had breakfast included, and we woke up to find that we had to pay extra. The reservation also said we had a free bottle of wine- which we never got- and would much rather have had the breakfast than the wine. The heat was absolutely mortifying and there was only a fan and Windows to open, however the open windows let in too much outside noise. The heat made us both sleep terribly causing us to leave a night early, and we didn't get a refund for it.
• S (2/5): Avoid this place. - I would avoid this place. 1) We had two nights booked with Expedia, but the hotel only booked us for a night and they needed to relocate us to another hotel which is 30 mins away by walk. No arrangement of transportation to transfer to another hotel, so we walked for the 30mins with our luggage. 2) An attendant/owner of the place were not available at the office until an hour after the check-in time. Even though they asked me what time we will be there and I told them the time, they weren't at the office when we got there. A poor couple who came at the "check-in time" wasted their hour waiting for the owner/attendant. The couple called the place, but nobody picked up the call. In the end, a resident of the same building came out to tell us we are bothering them because we were knocking the door of the building etc. The kind resident told us this issue is happening almost everyday.... When the owner/attendant finally showed up, he told us not to call him because he knows what his business hour is.... oh one more thing...... i sent an email telling another attendant/owner we and other two couples have been waiting for them for a while, but no reply to the message. 3) My bf saw staff leaving the place 30 mins before the expected business hours. One good thing: once you are in the B and B, the owners/attendants are nice and kind.
• Stacey (2/5): Give it a Miss - does not feel like home - My partner and I stayed in Florence for three nights and even though there were mixed reviews, decided to give this B&B a go. Wish we had have paid a little extra and stayed somewhere else because it really ruined our time in Florence. When we booked online we were excited to see that it included a free bottle of wine. But when my partner mentioned it while paying the city tax, the owner simply said that they didn't have any. That as it was complimentary, they didn't actually have to provide it. Well I'm sorry, but that is straight up false advertising. The breakfast is really poor considering they call themselves a B&B. They don't replenish anything, so if you don't get in early, you will probably miss out. The juice is like cordial, and if you want an extra coffee they charge you for it. The owner watches everything you take, and is very intimidating. The fact that the owners make people pay 40 euros just for checking in after 7:30pm speaks volumes for how they run their B&B. We felt incredibly unwelcome and awkward during our stay here, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
• 23th May (2/5): It was the worst hostel for 3 weeks in Italy trip! - First, I had to use only one bath towel for three days. The hotel will change the towel. After 3 days without additional charge. This is the first time I have such inconvenience! And the furniture was too old and dusty. This hotel does not seem to clean. And the reception opening is 2:30 p.m., but the reception woman always comes 10 minutes late. And she take it for granted that the guest is waiting. AItlso I pay for breakfast but I never ate it. The breakfast start at 8:30 and the person who prepares the accommodation comes back late. I wait for 10 minutes and then I get out. They every time later and guests watting all times.It's really annoying. Food is also banned in the room, and this hotel seems to have ended when I do not think of the guest as a guest and just receive the money. It was really the worst hostel on the trip and was unkind best!
• travelling (6/5): Close to everything but old fashioned - The hotel owners were excellent and very helpful easy check in and provided breakfast to us for an earlier time because of a tour but pillows and bed were horrible. Mosquitos everywhere, no spray avail. Breakfast is not till 8.30am so if early riser do not stay here.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Trevligt B&B som kunde ha fått bättre helhetsbetyg. Det som drar ner betyget var värden som upplevdes som snål, bl.a. var det tjat om att vi överutnyttjade det fria kaffet (vi använde tre kaffefilter på två dagar och fick bannor för det! Detta trots att vi hade med oss eget kaffe...), dessutom serverades frukosten väldigt sent, 8.30, vilket är för sent om du vill slippa köer till diverse attraktioner i Florens. Frukosten var till på köpet försenad...och snålt tilltagen, inget bröd, och en värd som vakade över dig som en hök. Tråkig upplevelse på ett annars mycket trevligt ställe. (Den kvinnliga värden var däremot väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam.)

• Shawn (10/5): The best people in all of Florence!!! - We loved our stay at this hotel!! The Fanti family are the best people you will meet in all of Italy! Our room was very comfortable, much more room than most places you'll stay in Italy, and the breakfast each morning is wonderful! Also very quiet neighborhood, but within walking distance to all of Florence. But let me say one more time how much we love Ricardo, Paola and Serena. We left Italy with much more than gifts and souvenirs - we left with lifetime friends!!!
• Tracy (8/5): Nice B&B walking distance to major attractions - Easy access from the SMN train station by bus. Can either walk or take a bus to major attractions. The owner is very friendly, she and her father even taught us some simple Italian over breakfast.
• Christie (10/5): Great place! - Cute, spacious, clean rooms. Located in a great area, within walking distance to major sites. Breakfast was fantastic. Selena was a great host, made sure we had everything we needed, and was very helpful in giving us information on local sites and attractions and how to get there. I would definitely recommend this B&B!

• Giovanni (2/5): Book at your own risk!!! - A family run business which provides the essentials with a smile. That is as far as it goes! If you are the type of traveller that is willing to pay a little extra for something nicer, this place is not for you. We paid extra for the "terrace room" and had booked it 5 months in advance. This room was given to another couple and we were stuck with a dusty room and shared facilities instead. The excuse we received was - an error in booking on behalf of expedia (who owns wotif). After numerous requests to see the booking from management to confirm that this was truly the case, all we got was excuses of illness and "too busy" to send me an email. We are still waiting for that email. This is a reoccurring thing. For other TESTIMONIES ON THE SAME ISSUE check TRIP ADVISOR for silimar cases. In addition, after the initial complaint, it took 20 hours to speak to someone with the authority to perhaps fix the issue. By this time, we had already booked another place and only regret that we hadn't done it immediately. This experience truly ruined our Florentine trip and would advise to ask questions to management before making the booking.

• Richard (10/5): Fabulous hotel, fabulous people, fabulous stay! - The whole experience at the hotel was amazing. Spotless rooms, spotless bathrooms, light, airy and comfy beds. The owners are amazing and made our stay really special. If you are in 2 minds of booking just do it! You seriously won't regret it. Breakfast was great, Location is great all in all an amazing trip!
• Vivian (8/5): Nice B & B in good location - Serena and her mom made me feel like visiting old friends in Florence! Make sure you get the key to the private bathroom if you booked one. I didn't realize that until I was back in Vancouver archiving my itinerary. I used the shared bathroom, it was empty whenever I needed it anyway. Overall, it's a good B & B to stay in.
• Andrea (10/5): Nice Bed and Breakfast - It was a little further from the city than expected, but not too far. When we arrived the owner was extremely warm and welcoming. She explained everything and recommended some restaurants. The room was small but had everything we needed. The bathroom was separate from the room, but only we had the key for it. Both the room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was very good.
• Liana (10/5): A fabulous stay in Florence - I had a really wonderful stay here. The location is slightly out of the very centre, but still well within walking distance, and the area feels appreciably less touristy. The room with a terrace was pleasant and warm in the winter, the bed was very comfy. The terrace looked lovely, nice plants and ceramics, with a view of Fiesole. The owners were very friendly - I had some lovely conversations at breakfast in my shocking Italian! They made me feel very welcome, and I've learned a lot about Santa Croce and calcio storico. Breakfast was also great, proper coffee, fresh pastry, salami, cheese, cereal, yoghurt, and even special cakes on festival days. I love Florence, and am looking forward to returning here - and to this B&B in particular - as soon as possible.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Pleasant B&B - We enjoyed our stay and the people were friendly. The B&B is up several flights of stairs and we had four heavy cases so i didn't enjoy that too much, but that was our fault not the B&B's. Travel light and you will have no worries.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Really friendly hosts! - Lovely little b&b the family that run it are extremely helpful and friendly. Really clean comfortable room and a great cappuccino at breakfast!! Great location for town and river.
