• David (10/5): A beautiful, cozy home in Zanzibar - Everything. Small, so cozy but with plenty of space and large rooms. Beautiful pool with gardens. A fantastic and warm team. I can’t recommend it enough. Nothing. Perfection.

• Carole (10/5): Déconnection totale - C'était notre deuxième expérience à l'UZURI. Le lieu est resté magique. Les chambres belles et confortables. Ici, vous trouverez le calme absolu et le bruit des oiseaux. Extérieur et piscine très beaux. La plage est incroyablement belle, banc de sable magnifique lors de la marée. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. Mention spéciale à Alpha pour son sourire et son professionnalisme, et à la jeune Kay qui nous a comblée elle aussi de sa gentillesse. Sivius chez chez une déconnection totale c'est à l'UZURI. Cuisine un peu fade. (Mais avec produits frais 🙂)
• Anvita (10/5): The best part of our Zanzibar trip! - We stayed in Stone Town, Jambiani, and Nungwi during our trip to Zanzibar, and the Uzuri in Jambiani was hands down the best part of the trip. Exceptional property, dreamy pool-facing room, and the proximity to the quiet and beautiful beaches of Jambiani made it the most relaxing and memorable part of the stay. Cherry on top is the personable owner who we loved hanging out with, the friendly staff, good food, and the hotel pets! We would urge our family and friends to stay at Uzuri and enjoy Jambiani! Nothing - everything was absolutely perfect.
• David (10/5): Amazing relaxing stay, wonderful staff ! - We spent 4 nights at this cozy and stunning boutique hotel (only 7 rooms). Elga the manager is simply amazing ! She and her staff made our stay just PERFECT, this place feels just like home ! She was very attentive and helpful in giving advice, suggested nice activities (we did 2 of them) and was always very caring, she even offered us some aloe vera treatment for our sunburn 🙏🏻 The swimming pool and sun beds are also perfect and you always find a spot ! The food is good and the massages so relaxing ! The whole staff is just so friendly and always takes good care of you ! THANK YOU SO MUCH ! We really can’t recommend this place enough and hope to be back with more friends/family ! So if you’re looking to spend some relaxing and calm days away from big hotels or crowds, this is the best ! There are also plenty of good small restaurants around and the white beach is gorgeous ! Nothing!

• Matthias (10/5): A few days in paradise - Beautiful boutique hotel with astonishing garden/pool area … which you have almost to yourself because it only has a few rooms. There’s direct access to the white sand beach/turquoise water and barely any tourists (which makes amazing photos) We had an amazing time with our little son (2yo). The staff (especially Alfa, Grace and Obari) was very friendly, being extra kind to our little one. And the food: absolutely delicious. The breakfast is à la carte and all of the options are very tasty. Lunch/dinner menu is equally delicious. Everything is made fresh (sometimes may take time, which did not bother us at all) and if you have special requests they always try to cater to them. They even make their own ice cream and bread. We had very relaxing days and would definitely come back!

Wonderful host. To give an example of the level of service, my suitcase had been damaged during transit. The hotel was able to fix it and return it to me within 30 minutes of arrival. Exceptional! Nothing.

• Rachel (9/5): Fantastico! - It is a beautiful property, with well thought out touches that made you feel like the hotel was exclusively your own. The family room had a sea view and took up the whole top balcony. The staff and team behind the scenes were all so friendly and wonderful with their care and coordination of activities for us. Loved the resident dogs too! The additional bed in the family room was a little narrow and likely more suitable for a smaller child. The round mosquite net with a small ring at the top makes it hard to sleep under the net and not get tangled in it over the course of a night's sleep.

Located literally on the beach the most difficult question was rather to enjoy the pool or the beach. The Team around the kitchen were super friendly and provided always delicious food. As well we can highly recommend the cooking class with the Team, simply fun and a good activity to learn more about local food.
• Sá (7/5): Nice villa by the beach - Beautiful location, secluded but in front of the beach and close to many restaurants. Well decorated, the pool and the massage hut were truly inspiring. The service was slow although kind and helpful. The cleaning could be better. The food was quite tasteless.

• Micaëla (9/5): A dream on the beach - Uzuri is in one word amazing. Its location is very good. Directly at the beach. The house itself has a lot of character. Beautiful garden; nice pool. Very friendly and helpful staf. Great breakfast and very good food. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Uzuri. Thanks Elga for having us; and thanks to your staf. The only thing we can think of is the shower; at times a very low water pressure. But no big deal for us.

The staff was nice! I didn't really mind that myself but it crossed my mind that it might not be the best choice if you feel uncomfortable with dogs- there are 2 of them walking freely everywhere
• Christiane (10/5): A little piece of paradise - We had a wonderful time at Uzuri. It has a relaxed atmosphere, with super friendly staff and great food (especially the Fish Burger). We stayed in the suite facing the pool. My son had so much fun with the sand, the pool, and of course Ginger and Dragon. We will definitely be back and recommend the place to our friends. Nothing. It was perfect.

The room was lovely, big, beautifully designed and very comfortable. The pool was fantastic and super clean. We also liked the delicious breakfast and the food in general. Absolutely brilliant stay! • Jace (8/5): Perfect place for a honeymoon, private getaway or kite adventure. - The staff were lovely and always helpful. It was nice having a couple of dogs around that didn't mind a pat. The owner was very welcoming and the aesthetic is amazing. The beach has very few hawkers unlike elsewhere on the island and you can go for a walk without being bothered which is nice. For the kiters there is a kite school with kite hire 2 minutes walk away. The area is very quiet and the fact that there are only a few rooms means you seem to have the place to yourself most of the time. Would definitely return. The wifi when working is good but the system is a bit annoying, you need to continually get codes.

• Seema (10/5): Relaxing and laidback stay! - if you’re looking for a laidback vibe, amazing people and comfortable place in Zanzibar. This is it! it has direct beach access, a nice pool and probably some of the best food / breakfast. They have an amazing massage service too which I would highly recommend. The people that work there are absolutely amazing too! we loved our time there and can’t wait to go back one day. nothing that I can think of.

• Lea (10/5): Hidden Paradise - great quiet boutique hotel with very nice staff and great location. The tide on the beach was no problems at all as we enjoyed a walk to the blue water in about 20min at low tide, and could swim easily when high. Prices were very good and the hotel offers great value for money, charm and a nice homey atmosphere that we loved. we had an incredible stay, were able to fully relax and recharge and were pleased by the full team - in particular Happy always doing her best to make our stay magical! Recommend 100%. Everything was good but would have been nice to have some rotation on the menu as we were staying for a week (:

• Nuno (10/5): Lovely place in Zanzibar - Uzuri Villa is a beautiful and peaceful small hotel by the beach in Jambiani. We spent three lovely days there. The staff was really nice, we loved the decoration, the comfort of the room, and the pool was a blessing. The breakfast was really good as well. On the last day, we had the surprise to have the visit of small monkeys in the garden; so cute! We loved everything.

• Federica (10/5): Best stay during our trip in Zanizbar - Our stay at Uzuri Villa was amazing. The Villa has an incredibile atmosphere: rooms are cozy and spacious, the swimming pool is wonderful and makes it is possible to relax under palmas, just in front of the sea. The staff is incredibly kind and always available. The food is excellent and a chef is available at any time, from breakfast until dinner. In short: Uzuri Villa is the perfect place for relaxing and visiting the east and south of Zanzibar. Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Beaucoup de charme, l’accueil est fait par la chicissime Elga, une jolie italienne amoureuse de Zanzibar. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la nourriture est simple et délicieuse. Un vrai bonheur! La piscine est aussi fabuleuse à pratiquer lorsque la marée est basse . Et pour finir , le personnel fait tout pour nous combler . La situation de Uzuri au bord de la plage permet de suivre toutes les activités des pecheurs , ramasseurs d’algues et toute une vie locale . Uzuri, qui signifie beauté en zwahili est pleinement mérité.

Cuisine tres Bonne et produits frais Un grand Merci a Christopher et Stella pour leur gentillesse et leur professionalisme. Le seul point négatif serait le manque de clim mais l'hôtel ca y remédier a la saison prochaine.
