• Matt (10/5): - The residence was lovely with a lot of character. It had a lovely wooded setting and a rafter of turkeys emerged from the woods to greet us upon arrival! The hosts were kind and interesting! They played a mean game of cards as well!

We were in town for the Stratford Festival, and the house was a very reasonable distance from downtown while still feeling secluded and quiet. The food was amazing. We are definitely planning on going back!

The information on Hotels.com site about the location need some corrections: You state that they accept VISA ONLY but that is not accurate. It is farther from the Festival Theater than you state by a few km. It certainly is fartherto Lake Huron than you indicated - which was 5 minutes. 50 minutes would be closer to the needed travel time. Angus and Nancy MacLennan

• Anne (10/5): Excellent option for the Festival and beyond - This is a lovely century home that has been lovingly restored, set in a wonderful garden. We didn't meet Bruce, but Ilya was an outstanding host, friendly and helpful, made us feel at home, and gave us one of the best breakfasts we've had in a B&B. Stratford is minutes away, but you might be tempted to linger on the patio.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - The property is in a quiet rural location. The grounds contain a pond, lots of gardens and bird feeders to draw in a variety of birds. The eggs for breakfast came from their own hens. Very fresh.

The neighbour's dog came for a visit and we took the time to go for a walk on the trail that runs alongside their property. It was lovely! We highly recommend this property and will certainly stay with the Koch's again if in the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

• John (10/5): I'll definitely be back - I would strongly recommend staying here. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The bed was excellent as were the linens. The owner/operator was a joy to talk to. I also enjoyed the conversations with other customers whom which we shared a breakfast table. Breakfast was also very good. Though I didn't have a chance to use it there's a lovely pond at the back which kept saying come sit by me and relax. The only negative I can say about place is that the water is hard and has a bit of an odor. Bottled water was in the room so drinking it was not a problem.

• Robert (10/5): Kock Haus Treasure - This bed and breakfast has a cozy feel to it. The owners are very friendly and are happy to sit and visit. Breakfast has a variety of offerings including hot options, you will not leave the table hungry!! It is quiet. Located just outside of town but close enough to be convenient. We enjoyed our stay and made new friends, we look forward to returning.

• J D (10/5): Lovely rural retreat, but close to the theatre - The place was immaculate and the room comfortable, if a bit small. New bathroom worked very well. The grounds behind the house are superb, treed with a small pond, the whole thing surrounded by mature trees. Service excellent and the breakfast was excellent,. The owner even got up to make us breakfast before 7:00, as we had to be on the road asap
• Becky (10/5): - Ilya and Bruce are wonderful hosts who graciously provided a friendly comfortable stay in their beautiful farm setting. Delicious breakfast - with fresh eggs from their own chickens! I love their attention to detail in the design and decoration of this century home. What was extra special was the opportunity to stay in their "travel home" (given that the three bedrooms inside the home were already booked). This was no trailer, but a luxurious home on wheels (that they use for winter travel) with all the comfort and privacy of an upscale condo. We were so surprised and delighted! And we look forward to booking with them again on our next Stratford visit.

• Michael (10/5): Amazing B&B place for your perfect vacation time! - It was an amazing stay. Old style house with modern services and equipment. Every corner is unique; the property is beautiful. Ilia and Bruce, the owners are great in terms of hospitality and attention to details; and they are very very nice people ! The breakfast in the sunroom with a beautiful view to the property was huge, tasty and relaxing. We will stay there again and recommend our friends
