- Thomas (8/5): Big and inexpensive - Can't beat the size or price. Check out at 10:00 am... who does that?!?
- Guest (3/5): -
- Sonia (6/5): If you need a cheap place to stay for a couple nights, this place will do.. - Plenty of parking and close to restaurants. The rooms and facilities are very old and dated. Ice machine was out of order. I looked like it hadn’t been used in years. Just a metal shell. Staff was hard to understand, a very heavy accent. Pool out of order, permanently.

- John (1/5): The property owner is a scam. He charged me $125 a night and the guys with me $80 a night. Do not stay here he will try - The property owner is a scam. He charged me $125 a night and the guys with me $80 a night. Do not stay here he will try to scam you out of a lot of money Everything. It’s a shithole
- jennifer (1/5): - It was filthy, shower, floors, couldn't use the fridge, no coffee, people there were horrible to deal with, tried to refuse my service dog, had to get local police involved to inform them of laws. Spend the extra $10-20 and get a clean room somewhere else.
- Cristiane (1/5): Will never book a room here again and don’t recommend to anyone - Absolutely nothing Run down, rude staff, lack of amenities, linens were stained and had holes
- Nick (1/5): - Nothing Dirty, smelled, no wi fi in room.
- Jim (8/5): -
- Debra (1/5): Worst experience!! - Nothing!!!! Everything from trying to check in with someone who barely speaks TERRIBLE un understandable English too Opening the door of the room and being blasted with a the worst odor ever. A combination of cigarette smoke to weed to some awful perfume smell & old disgusting dirty carpet smell YUK it's 2026. Decor was dingy dated & worn out. I could not even bring myself to step in the door. The lighting was lacking so not sure what esle you might find with a few more working lights. Went to grab dinner. Then, upon my return with new resolve to at least give it a chance so I could shower, it got worse. The refrigerator wasn't even plugged in or near a wall plug. The toilet was leaking all over the bathroom floor from the bottom. The shower curtain was dirty, wrinkled, and overall inadequate. Pushing back the shower curtain with a towel as not to touch it, the tub was missing lots of enamel & dirty looking. I decided to at least salvage a small portion of my investment as I am sure a place as grose as this is not going to give me a dime in the form of a refund. I proceed to wipe down a counter , bring as Iitte as possible & shower with my shower shoes, no shower curtain and my own towel and toiletries. I had to use most of their rough as sandpaper towels to soak up all the water on the floor from the toilet..U then proceeded to the office to return the key and move on down the road with no rest or sleep. This is one of the worst motel/hotel experience I have ever experienced. I travel a great deal for work & pleasure. Approximately 200-250 nights a year in a room somewhere in the world. Don't even stop in BLYTHE, CALIFORNIA for anything.
- Randal (10/5): Safe, clean, comfortable. - The first thing that comes to mind is safe; This is a good clen area, with eateries within walking distance and a Dollar General next door for those little items or snacks that you forgot or need. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was totally satisfied with my stay!
- Gary (10/5): -
- Ann (2/5): Would not recommend staying here. Property Management was poor and unnecessarily rude - It was easy to access. Plenty of parking and quiet. Beds were comfy and the linens were clean and bright. There was no ice in the ice maker out front and the owner was quite rude when I asked for ice or cold water to drink. He sat next to a 5-gallon water cooler, but said no, it was not his problem that I wanted a drink of water.
There was [oddly] blood on so many surfaces when we checked in. As if the cleaning staff was brushing up against things unknowingly leaving blood spots all over.
- Gina (10/5): The Emerald Inn & Lounge is quiet, clean and roomy, easy to get back on the road. - The location was just a few blocks away from the freeway so it was quiet, no traffic noises. The room was spacious, refrigerator and microwave helpful. The microwave sat on a shelf that went wall to wall, and was very convenient to keep organized! Can’t think of anything.
- Angela (7/5): I stayed twice in a week. No complaints -

- Brenda (7/5): - Location Needs a little TLC

- john (9/5): I love staying here when I am travelling through that area....On of the best values in the country.. - Everything....large room you can drive right up to the room, and it has a bathtub and refrigerator. Nothing
- SAMERA (2/5): -
- Gianluca (1/5): - Nulla Sporca lattine in stanza e ragnatele ,
- Rebecca (7/5): - The owners
- Babcock (8/5): -
- Ehrich (8/5): -
- Lytze Strong (10/5): - Location, staff, room very large, refrigerator larger than most hotels.
The room was very well air-conditioned, and it was cooled before arrival (it was hot outside). Air conditioning worked perfectly all week.
Refrigerator freezer nice size and freezes well, most hotels have tiny freezers that don't freeze properly..
- Lisa (3/5): - This property was once beautiful. Pre-pandemic it had a beautiful bar and the staff was amazing. Sadly, the family that own it now have let the whole place fall apart. The bar sits boarded up and unused. The ice machine looks like it’s been broken for years. They have cut down most of the palm trees so now they are just ugly stumps lining the property. It still says online that they have the bar. It also says they have breakfast. Not true. The family seems annoyed to have guests. I think they are just living there and the occasional guest is an annoyance they have to put up with. That’s the only reason I can come up with that they seem to have no pride of place or any customer service skills.
- cesar (2/5): - But you’re friendly, but not worth it
- Elivia (8/5): - Good value for the price
- Bradley (1/5): Bad -
- Will (9/5): Superb -
- David (8/5): Very good - Good value for money Swimming pool closed
- Kenneth (3/5): Poor -
- Claire (3/5): Not worth the money. - The linens looked clean. The mattress was firm. There were spider webs in several places. The whole room needs dusting. There were shams instead of pillowcases. I can only hope they clean them every time. I used my own pillow. The bed covers were shabby. The online pictures were very misleading. My traveling companion left very early and the owner came knocking on the door at 6am, because he thought we both left. I felt like we were being monitored. No coffee. I won't be back.
- Kurt (10/5): - Family run business
- Marion (6/5): Need new mattresses - Run down furniture beds need new mattresses AC was mobile control with no directions. Pretty bad but no dirt, clean bedding I only paid 42 I’d stay there again to sleep
- Kristina (4/5): - One of the men who ran yhe place was rude, no staff went in to check on our room for fresh towels to toiletries, the room was clean but it smelled like moldy food. I had to buy a bottle of fabreeze and the AC would not stay on. Unless i reset it, it would go off after 10 minutes and wouldnt go back on on its own for hours. Also no phone in the room too call front desk if we had any problems. Either then that my atay was quiet.
- Paul (10/5): - Very clean
I'll stay here again.
- Peter (6/5): - Property was ok, but it needs updating and improvements. Could have also used a coffee maker and microwave, which it didn’t have. This was an inexpensive room, so for the price, it was ok.
- Mary (8/5): Great location, just tired - Clean, comfortable and a good price A bit run down, the refrigerator made loud noises in the night, no coffee maker
- Timothy (8/5): - Old rundown,but clean and comfortable.
- Denise (10/5): - Clean and comfortable room. Comfortable couch to sit on, which is the reason I chose this hotel over the other low cost ones in the area
- Sara (2/5): Not clean, had to leave. - I had to leave after 30 minutes and pay for another room at a different motel because the room was so incredibly dirty. Black mold in the fridge, dried urine on the toilet seat, carpet so dirty that after stepping on it barefoot I left a dark footprint on the white sheets. I have a pretty high tolerance for roadside motels but this was beyond tolerable. I have mold and dust allergies and started feeling bad after just a few minutes.
- Israel (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): - Friendly and prompt service. Very easy
- Israel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (6/5): Get what you pay for. - Convenient and affordable. The reception is not open, just a window making it less friendly or welcoming.
Hard bed.
Squishy pillows, hurts the neck, in the shams... not supposed to sleep on shams, they are usually harder to wash and less comfortable, wondering how clean they were.
- Larisa (1/5): Nasty, disgusting, felt unsafe - The pitures on wrbsite were deceptive. Exceptionally dirty, nusty place. Room was like cheap motel type, maybe worse. The door inside did not have security lock. In the batroom, only one focet/sink, was almost broken, leaking. Soup would not even lathering...
That place needs restoration, complete.
The owner said, well, but we are cheap compare to other hotels. Does not matter, that was not an execuse for this disaster. Beating up , maybe collected from trash site furniture. Wall maybe was painted when hotel was fist built , who knows when. Holes in the walls were patched with veneer. Microwave was placed on sloped shelf, so a dish was sliding tieard the door. So food would fell next to the door, stack there, and not rotating. Most of all the bedding was just dusgusting. Im not sure the top beghjng even was washed. Skirts for sure. No write pillow covers. I put a towel over the pillows. Oh , and towels all of them had unwashed stains...There is more, enough to say for now. Tv Rebuilt, renovate the whole place
- Hostel (4/5): Disappointing - I booked a room but didn't spend the night. Smelled and was just really old and dated. It was the cheapest place in town but I decided to head on to my friends place in Orange County. If you can only afford cheap then this is the place for you. Owner was friendly at check in.
- john (10/5): - Stayed 4 nights on a fishing trip with my son. Absolutely no complaints
- Cenon (10/5): - Nice and quiet
- Ronnie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cenon (8/5): - Excellent
- Steve (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gamez (9/5): Superb -
- Maribel (2/5): Bad experience - Dirty, poorly attended and deceitful
- Christine (8/5): The only place I stay in Blythe - I have stayed here many times, both with this owner and the prior ones. I have always found it clean, quiet and economical and I will continue to stay here when my route permits.
- Michael (10/5): - Easy to get to and to get to where I was going. Quiet and a restaurant across the street.
- Nikita (6/5): Pleasant -
- Cenon (10/5): - Staff is very polite and courteous
- Cenon (8/5): - Didn’t realize I put a review intended for other motel. Emerald inn is the best price in town for the room. The staff and owner is really friendly and polite.
- Cenon (8/5): - Staff is friendly and excellent service
- Masoud (6/5): - Thank you
- Mendoza (3/5): Poor - Staff was friendly Tub drained very slow,. Frigerator was leaking was not getting cold. They replaced door handle over cut the hole there gap seen bugs come in
- Gary (6/5): - Bath tub had rust. Bathroom door knob fell off in middle of night. A Pepsi bottle was left in room from previous guest. Had to use pillows with shams on them where previous guests had laid their heads on. No other pillows with pillow cases.
- Izrael (4/5): - Extremely hot this time of year, no ice machine and even the pool was out of order.
- Denis (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and quiet. Management cooled the room before arrival. The facility seemed very .secure. Plentiful soap and towels No coffee in the morning. It would be a nice addition .
- Tyler (6/5): - The water in the summer is scorching hot and the rooms are basic basic. Otherwise, a convenient place to stay on the way to Joshua Tree National Park.
- Tanya (10/5): - The price was right and the room was adequate for a quick night's stay off of the interstate. The room had a comfortable, homey feel with sufficient air conditioning. The bed was a little harder & the water temperature of the shower was a little cooler than I like, but I was still able to sleep okay and wash-up before heading out. I would definitely stay here again, and likely will!
- Marc (10/5): Good value - For the price a great stay.
- Gabriela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cenon (2/5): - Rude stagg
- bella (6/5): - Dated property but owners do their best to keep
It clean. For one night stay, it’s ok. I do stay here each time I pass through Blythe.
- bella (8/5): - Dated property but owners try their best to keep it clean. Towel and beddings are clean. Microwave and refrigerator work.
- Noemi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kjell (7/5): Ok for one night - Ok for one night. Decent price. Clean, peaceful and quiet. Bed was ok. There is restaurants and stores nearby. A Sizzler just across the street. Owners probably did their best. A little old and worn. There was no lounge,, and no pool, that I know of. Could use a light over the table.
The pictures on Booking are flattering.
- Ramon (2/5): - I would say the worse place I ever stayed. Or should I say booked to stay but decided to pay for another room at a different motel. Many things were wrong but primarily the name says lounge but has not been open in years. It’s says pool online but the pool also has not been open in years. They also had a bunch of guys hanging around our assigned room. It was a total rip off but of course I could not cancel for a refund. Lesson learned I guess. I was just trying to find something reasonable.
- Lewis (10/5): - No complaints
- Kim (4/5): - Wifi- spotty; 24/7 front desk- not really; ice machine not working, no garden, no picnic area; no pool; shower weak at best. Place of last resort.
