- Steven (6/5): -
- Mitchell (3/5): The stay was great till cops were called cause a crazy guy was running up and down the halls screaming and threatening p -
- Chelsea (1/5): - Nothing Everything
- Phillips (6/5): Not bad - The room was affordable and served its purpose. Noise from the neighboring rooms was excessive, especially the lady with the extremely high pitched voice. Yikes!!
- Natasha (1/5): Too smelly, horrible check in, bad experience overall. - it smelled like cigarettes even though it’s a cigarette free place, you’d wake up and hear everything from the person in the other room as if it was only paper separating you two. The smell of the place is horrendous and so overwhelming and difficult to sleep to. And when we checked in the guy had no clue that we were even coming although we booked the room a week-5 days in advance and already charged me for the room. Plus the bathroom was a okay size but the crusty used towels were so unhygienic.
- Zulmaliz (10/5): - Me encantó, todo muy limpio❤️ camas cómodas , el cuarto estaba en buen estado , buen olor . Sin duda volvería ❤️❤️
- Sara (5/5): I could tolerate the bad things because the sheets were clean. - The sheets were clean, the commode and bathroom sink looked new, the AC cooled the room and the mildew smell disappeared, the two large mirrorsand the price. The bedspreads looked awful, the mildew smell before turning on the AC, the potholes in the driveway
- Michael (5/5): We only slept there for a night and it was fine for that. - The owner was nice and was attentive to our needs when we asked him for something. I was going to tear this place apart but the truth is that as an older place it was clean, and the beds were comfortable. All in all as an inexpensive place that we needed just to sleep in for a night it was a decent deal. The heat was turned off ( it was 51 degrees ) but the owner got us heaters for the rooms that had the temp up to 70 in no time. The heaters were ancient and need to be replaced but they worked. (they are a bit scary and I would keep little ones away from them as there were exposed wires in one of them.) It took the hot water a few minutes to reach the room but once there it was adequate.
- Stephen (7/5): -
- Elizabeth (1/5): I did not stay there. - The whole facility smelled terrible. The person at the desk said it was some kind of spray. I don’t know if it was a cleaner or what. But I get migraines from strong smells, and there was no way I would be able to stay with that odor. I don’t know what they possibly need to clean or cover up with such a strong chemical smell. In addition, it was extremely remote and there were very few other people staying there it seemed and as a female traveling alone, I did not feel safe. I ended up not staying there.
- Michael (7/5): Pleasantly surprised. I think the Owner cares. - It's pretty Spartan - think dorm style. And it's old (think outdated carpet and dark wood). But it was very clean and tidy, wifi was good, water temp and pressure great, bed comfy, tv easy to use, ac unit powerful and effective. Night was totally quiet, which I did not expect but was SO happy about. I wouldn't take a family, but for a solo traveler it nailed the basics. It's a bit of a sketchy area. It seems to attract people who are there to hang out for a bit, or maybe who don't have anywhere else to hang.
- Aharon (9/5): The budget inn - The beds were comfortable, and the room was very clean. There are no weird smells inside the room. Staff was friendly. I would definitely stay again. Bathroom door needs attention. Needs new door knob assembly and shorten the door so its not stuck on the floor.
- GRYM Knight (6/5): -
- James (1/5): - Terrible. Water was not healthy to use. I want a refund I paid for four days and only stayed one night!!!! Shut that place down!!!!!
- Malissa (10/5): Great Price.. Clean.. Renovated - Clean, Renovated, Great Price
- Kevin (2/5): - The room was disgusting, bed had stand and hair from previous people. The floor was completely dirty, the bathroom had toilet paper roll No toilet paper on it, the shower was bad, one towel in a double occupancy, and no towels at the other room my friend was in, the internet didn’t work, people blaring music till late getting drunk that were staying there no respect, the air conditioning was completely dirty and a smell coming out of it, I’ll just stop it here. I will Not be returning.
Thank you. Have a blessed day.
- Brenda (2/5): - Los alrededores de las instalaciones estaban sucios y el personal fueron desagradable
- Joseph (8/5): Not bad for the money - Staff was very nice.
Bed was comfortable, pillows were not!!
Took a while to get hot water in the shower.
- Koryn (6/5): Overall good stay, would stay there again in the future. - The cleanliness was good, room was very nice and clean. Looks like it was recently renovated. Owner barely spoke English, stared at us when checking in. Barely any parking due to parking lot being renovated.
- Jared (10/5): Cheap no bugs and they all were very polite as family ran motels go - They very nice to my ol traveling soul google Jared Pierson and follow my FL man story for street cred ... Coulda seen better days
- Cynthia (5/5): It was average and did the job that it needed to do. We just needed a place to spend a couple of nights. - Convenient to where we were needing to be. Looks like it is under maintenance and possibly updating. No room service unless you ask for it.
- Tammy (2/5): - Said to be non smoking room next to mine smoking all night and smoke coming in my room. Drugs being used on property ppl playing loud music and having domestic violence issues. I left it was not safe!
- Adam (5/5): Old but clean - It was clean in the room Very rough outside, driveway was all torn up with broken glass everywhere
- Rutuja (4/5): - Na
- Ammy (10/5): - Amazing Transformation.. We came few years before. Looks nice n clean.
- Aleia (7/5): -
- Howard (6/5): - This is a basic hotel to stay the night for a good nights rest. The bed was comfortable and the room has a small Flat-screen TV, mini fridge and microwave. The shower was warm and refreshing.
- Dave (6/5): Ok for the money - It was ok for what it was. TV is small and far away from beds so hard to see. WiFi was not good at all. There was a strong smell of cleaner
- Chris (10/5): Great Stay.. Affordable Rates. Must recommend.. - Great Clean Room. Old from outside but rooms are amazing. Comfortable..
- Richard (1/5): Dirty, smelly and needs work. - The motel is dirty and needs cleaning and repair. The room and hallway smelled like old wet wood. It smelled moldy and needs work. The sink needed caulking and the toilet was old, small and low to the ground. I would not think of using the shower, because it was bad. We left after a half hour and left the key on the desk. It was horrible. The smell was horrible. The room needed work and real cleaning. The hallway stunk.
- William (8/5): -
- Lewis (7/5): Good -
- Paul (10/5): - This Motel has good parking, clean and the staff is very nice. The price is very good too. I'd def recommend this Motel. Thank you.
- Artem (4/5): - Everything was great.
- Jennifer (4/5): Disappointing -
- Stephanie (8/5): Would stay again. - How close it was to our destination for that night. The price was a good value. The room was clean. The size of the towels were too small for an adult. I would suggest bringing your own for showering.
- Hanbach (4/5): Stay Away! - Everything was nice and clean, neat and tidy. Apparently the business still accepts temporary housing vouchers from the state for the homeless, as there was noise and foot traffic day and night, addicts loitering in the parking lot and several times myself and my CHILDREN were accosted for a ride to town, food, drinks, gas, and money.
- Gregg (2/5): Last resort option - Entire place smelled of cigarette smoke. Bathroom door would not close. Odd people in parking lot.
- Jason (6/5): - Linenes were clean but the bathrooms very outdated and the the work done to it very shabby . I'm working on the road good enough for that I wouldn't bring a family here
- John (5/5): Old and outdated - Remote from town. Very old, outdated facility. Hardly any amenities.
- Kurt (10/5): - I understand it’s under construction and it was for $89 but it just doesn’t say safe and welcoming for ppl to want to stay there
- Buzzell (2/5): Not what expected very mini.al services. No extra towels no supplies - No breakfast..we liked very little. But good door lock and chain. Linens were clean Noisy should be strict any quiet and dog barking yelling etc. doors slamming
Instead of a king size we got two doubles
- Todd (2/5): - Very dated and dirty
- Russell (5/5): The room was ok for the price, my biggest issue was no hat water in the shower. - No hot water in the shower.
- Blake (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (6/5): - The room had been well cleaned, but heat was poor, and the door lock was so cheap that it was easier to slip the lock with a card than use the key.
- Ken (1/5): I was very disappointed they said we did not have a confirmation number. Which we had - Only it was convenient Room was dingie not clean. Linin was not that c”Ean it was stained and worn out. We we cold they brought another heater in. They had only one litttle one.
- Rachel (7/5): Easy to find, easy to park, quick check in, clean but basic and old. I'll stay again when needed. - Great price for a very basic room. It was older but clean. Spacious but no closet. Microwave and refrigerator was a perk I did not expect for the rate. Good for a overnight when on the road. Check in was easy- and no problem even though I didn't show up until after 8pm. Could use paint in the bathroom and a heavier door, but again, the rate is good and the room clean.
- Dylan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joshua (3/5): Poor - There was no breakfast in the morning Location the people and everything
- Mark (6/5): - The price was great!
- Chad (5/5): Passable -
- Scott (7/5): Good -
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- Rita (10/5): Very good. - Very clean, well kept. Nothing, all good!
- James (8/5): - They are doing remodeling so it is a little rough around the edges but overall not a bad place.
- Joy (2/5): Very poor - It was fairly close to A.U. The scenic drive was peaceful. For a place that is not smoking and had no smoking signs they promoted smoking by having cigarette bins. The room I stayed in said no smoking but there were cigarette burn marks on the blanket and pillow case. There was only one lock(not a very secure one) and the other door lock was broken. The bathroom door didn't close all the way and couldn't be locked. The controller to the TV only turned the TV on, turned the volume up/down and muted it. I could only watch the news and no other channels. The Internet was intermittent and hard to connect to. The fridge was dirty. I did not sleep well due to loud banging noises the first night and the second night people were so loud and had music blasting at all hours of the night. It sounded like someone was always outside my room all night. There was also a dog barking right next door. The pillows were flat. The toilet seat was broken so every time I sat on it, it moved and I almost fell off it a few times. The shower doors were hard to open.
- Sani (1/5): No stay - The property canceled the confirmation due to plumbing issues - The property canceled the booking without notice - they told me they had plumbing issues and were unable to release any room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The propiis under renovation, but the rooms are comfortable and quiet. The staff does not speak much English, but they are very nice.
- Chad (10/5): Exceptional -
- C.hagel (5/5): Passable - You get what you paid for.
- Melendez (8/5): Very good -
- Funckymonkey (5/5): Passable -
- Chris (4/5): Not my best experience - Location was close by and fairly reasonable rates Wifi sucked, bed are very uncomfortable, the 1st time there wasn't extra toilet paper I ran out.
- M (4/5): Disappointing - Bed was nice Bathroom was like it hadn't had any work done on it in 50 years
The couple in room 8 had a great time at 2am and 6 am
- Daniel (3/5): Left immediately after check in - Nothing Very poor
- Kristen (1/5): Asked Bookings for a place in Maryland and they booked this place in New York 3 hours away! Patheti - Not applicable if bookings.com had a better search engine that actually found hotels in the area that is plugged into it rather than a town 2 hours away that has a similar name to what is entered AND took responsibility for the mistake rather than calling ONE TIME ONLY and expecting you to answer no matter what time they call.
Its poor business practice!
- PRAKASH (8/5): - some renovations happened to the rooms, it was good for the price.
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Augsbury (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was so friendly, and the room was very clean One of the guests next to us was loud half the night and there aren't any phones in rooms for the front desk.
- Wilbur (2/5): Poor - No breakfast or coffee! It's a dump!
- Andrew (5/5): Once and done. Thought the place was abandoned. Misled by photos on booking.com - Close to my activities. Very dirty and run down exterior / interior. Not worth the money.
- Caleb (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diptej (10/5): - Very Clean and quite. Newly renovated rooms are so amazing. Best place to stay in this price. More than worth of its price.
- Robert (9/5): Clean, New Rooms, Comfortable Bed, Best Price. Should try if you plan to stay around this area. - Nice and Clean place to stay. Nice renovated rooms. This is my 2nd visit. Lot of improvements. Nice friendly staff. Great in Price. Comfortable beds. Coming back again for 2.5 month. See you guys soon !!!
- Mike (10/5): Amazing Transformation. I stayed here few times before also but this time I can say Just WOW. - Amazing Transformation. I stayed here few times before. It was ok kind of Motel for Stay in a Budget. But this time It was Just WOW. Everything New. It looks like 4 star Hotel room. I talked to Bobby and JP.. They said they are renovated all rooms. Half of the rooms are done so far. I don't know what was last experience for other travelers but now you will thankful to me. Must stay.. Best in Budget .. NOTE : They are making Kitchenette Rooms for Long Term Traveler.
- Mjs (9/5): Superb -
- Jeff (6/5): Good clean room at a fair price. - Door locks coule use some refurbishment. I broke in to mine after locking it with a credit card to retrieve my cell phone. Other than that, a great stay.
- Jacqueline (4/5): - Had to pay for stay to get key to room, desk clerk didn't understand English which created problems, Property was not updated and had stains on walls. No heat in the room, promised to cancel transaction and did not. Overall, a poor experience
- Jeffrey (4/5): - Severely out dated and not appealing. Would never stay here again
- daniel (10/5): - Quiet and clean
- Tom (1/5): Would not recommend at all. - Location. But that’s all it had going for it. The bed bugs I found all over the bed in the morning. It was Gross and I wanted to puke. I have already emailed you regarding this. I sure hope you take care of it.
- Ross (5/5): The feel of staying in the 1970's in 2023! Oddly, clean even though it is very worn out. - You get what you pay for. This hotel is old and very dated. The room we rented was clean for being outdated. The water pressure was good and there was hot water to shower with. But, when paying the price that we did compared to the others around, you get what you pay for and the owners wife was pleasant even with our late night check in. The mattress was very uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. We travel with our own pillows and pillow cases so we were lucky to have those.
- Deboralis (8/5): - The outside was a little run down but the room was extremely clean. The person noticed it was two in the room and gave us extra towels at check in without needing to ask.
- Kathy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful staff and comfortable bed
- Horne (1/5): No one home - No one at office I rang the bell. Note saying be back . I waited 20 min . I called 2 times no answer .
- Robert (10/5): very nice -
- Michael (9/5): Superb - There isn't any breakfast or coffee.
- B (1/5): Bad - We booked one night and as we were working late in the area we requested a late check-in (from midnight to 1am). We received an email reply from Budget Inn, via the booking.com that that was OK.
We arrived at the property at 12:10am. We were unable to check-in. The Office door was locked. No-one answered. No-one was inside. Phone calls were ignored.
We waited, but eventually we gave up, and drove home.
And so for this I am leaving 1 star, mostly because I am angry at the Budget Inn. They were supposed to be there for us, and instead they placed us in the Dangerous position of a 5-hour drive, after having just worked a 16-hour day.
Update: We reached out to booking.com in regards to this problem, and unfortunately, they were of no help as well. I was surprised, I thought booking.com stood behind their customers, but they do not.
So we processed a chargeback via our credit card, and this was resolved in our favor.
- Dennis (6/5): OK for what we wanted. - You get what you pay for.
- Paul (6/5): - Very tired motel, likely built in the 50s. But price is right and room was clean and beds comfortable. Solid WiFi. Good tight budget option.
- Cheek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dale (8/5): I would stay here again. - Location was good. Room clean and comfortable. Quiet as well.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
