• Michael (5/5): I think a little more effort would make this a much better place to stay. - The place was very clean but they didn't clean my room between my two day visit, even though I asked the maid next door if she would because I was leaving for the day. The man at the desk was not at all friendly when I checked in. The shower head was barely a mist. It took me forever to get wet enough to shower and rinse! Although the room was clean, I saw a couple of bugs come in under the door because it had a large gap at the threshold. You could also see a lot of daylight under the door. The door sweep just needs to be adjusted, it appeared to be fairly new.

• Vannessa (1/5): Thanks but no thanks - Close to a lot of stores They didn’t clean my room one time in the 15 day stay total I was there they left me with the same sheets on my bed and I had to chase room service to get toilet paper and towels and when I reported noises and the rude neighbors and the guy tried to tell me no that didn’t happen and they have cameras in the room.

The room was not prepared with the proper facilities for guests and our time space was intruded throughout the evening. Refund necessary.

Cobwebs which could easily be cleaned or eliminated, bathroom floor was not clean, bedspreads without cigarette burns, larger bars of soap, some days soap was not even provided. Air conditioning worked great. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was almost nonexistent. Power went out for approximately 10 hours, third night of our stay. Nothing was said or communicated by hotel staff. Is there any compensation for that? Our refrigerator defrosted with water all over the floor. We use towels to take care of the water. The staff in the office were friendly. Not sure I would ever stay here again.

• Maryela (4/5): Beds were comfy but the checking in was a struggle - The beds When I got there and checked in, the staff said that my room was canceled, but I told him I was already charged for it. And he said there was no rooms available I told him you guys are crazy. You guys charged me so my room should be available and he call someone else to ask him how to fix this situation and then this person on the other line helped him on how to check me in it took us like 10 mins for him to check me in. Also it didn’t have anything in the room like all the stuff the hotel comes with no shampoo or soap. Just towels.

When I got in shower the dirt coming off my feet was Disgusting!!! Only one towel and one Nasty Dirty wash cloth!!! Really Dirty! No shampoo! No coffee pot! I Will Never again stay at a Motel 6! Don't bother to leave the lights on!

• Verified traveler (2/5): Even discount hotels should be clean - Room smelled of cigarettes, and we switched rooms but the 2nd room still smelled. There were cigarette burns and bugs in the room. We got 2 towels and one washcloth for 3 people and they could not give us more the 1st night. Our room was not cleaned so we still did not have towels. The next day they would not give us towels again.The front office person was quite rude. I demanded towels and the front office person finally gave us towels which were dirty with brown spots. Shower barely put out water. Pillows tiny and flat. I know this was a discount hotel, but there should still be some basics and cleanliness.

• Angeline (10/5): 11 out of 10 stars! - I just want to say, this is one of the nicest stays my family and I have ever had. This hotel and its staff go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and taken care of. I had a bad car accident the week we started staying there and they were so supportive and friendly and caring. The entire staff was an absolute pleasure to interact with and be around. You could ask anyone for help and they would gladly be there. I can’t thank this hotel and its staff enough, and I definitely recommend them to anyone. I will gladly stay here anytime. Hope to see them soon! Thank you again!

• Carmiesha (4/5): Disappointed and dissatisfied - I booked 2 rooms for our stay Tues-Sat. First problem the large gap under the front doors (had to buy pool noodles and cut them up to stuff under the doors each night to keep out bugs which kind of worked still had a few bugs get in) our rooms were never cleaned (told front office but our rooms were still not cleaned) so in order to have clean towels we had to go to the front office to get them. The last night we were there the cops were called on the people next door to us. It wasn’t a crazy ordeal but it took them a long while to get them out and they were very loud. I booked here because the reviews were great but was very disappointed. Even if the prices are the lowest I’d never stay here again.

• Mindi (5/5): Passable - Sam was very courteous. I requested a room on the 1st floor through Booking.com and Sam said he never got the notification. He did accommodate me but with a handicap room (no amenities such as a lamp or reading lights, and a wonky shower arrangement) right next to the office, so there was a lot of noise. I later learned there were available rooms that would have been much better for me at the back of the property and if I had known I would have insisted on one of those.

• Martisa (6/5): - They are trying their best. The beds are made carelessly, wasn't properly tucked, there was a burn of some sort in the blanket. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet so sitting was unstable. There was a blue film in the tub I asked them to remove, didn't clean all the hair which easier to do with a tissue. The bath towels are not full bath towels, there like for 10 year old. It smells of a roach spray, the pillows are like the $3.00 one and they don't want to put but two on each bed. They don't fit the bed size btw. They put two small soaps, no shampoo, conditioner and no iron. But when you need to rest and lay your head down it's a decent place. So, I'm not complaining in a way to hurt them... this is to help them better their rooms bcuz they seem like nice people.
• Rebecca (3/5): Motel 6 has always felt like home away from home. The new owners of the Motel 6 chain took that away - I like the price and the location. The rooms are always really clean. There is very large gaps in the motel room door that lets in a lot of beaming light in the early a.m. I'm also wondering why the maid comes knocking fairly loud up to an hour before check out time. I am paid up until 11:00 a.m. it should be noted that I am due to check out not going to be needing new linens. It is disruptive. And also the selective $50 cash deposits that is required by the night employee and the murky grin that I should be paying it when he says so. I was left without anywhere to stay one evening because it was demanded of me when I was not prepared as I am using booking.com for my reservation. There is nothing notated stating there will be a $50 cash deposit. I travel with credit cards and I have to use Ubers and Lyft rides. I was left standing in the cold at midnight when my room was reserved. Was treated very poorly by the night employee. This is the second time he has been rude. But this time I wasn't even allowed to check in. I am a woman traveling alone it was cold I was tired. There should be some disclosure regarding the $50 cash deposit on the booking.com website or at least posted somewhere on the check-in window at the location. This shouldn't be something that employees should unexpectedly demand out of nowhere and then very rudely send me away when I had a reservation. I was alone, it was cold and I wasn't able to check in until midnight . So any other room in the area was not available to fit my needs. We now live in a time where technology is everywhere. it should be possible for Motel 6, a very large Motel chain, to accept authorization holds on credit cards as deposits for the room. Not demand cash at midnight from a frequent paying guest with a reservation. I no longer will be staying at that location nor the Menifee California location. Unfortunately I had the same issue.
