Guest Reviews
- Martin (10/5): - are cereals fresh?
- David (10/5): - Room was clean. Ice machine worked.
- Bonnie (10/5): - I love the wood floors rather than carpet. Little special touches that show caring. Bid refrigerator! Very clean. Excellent for the price.
- Anthony (10/5): - It was very quite and accommodating
- Jessica (4/5): - I made my reservation on line but for the next day. I spoke with the manager and they told
Me that all i have to do is talk to Expedia’s customer service for them to make the request so i did but cs claims they cannot get a hold of the hotel while i was in the area no phone rings. The manager told me to pay for jy night and they will refund when expedia ca contact them..i don’t know if the property people refused or expedia customer service didnt do their job but i will
Never book them again
- Margate (6/5): - It’s ok for the money breakfast not great
- Edward (2/5): - The chairs and headboard had stains. No water pressure in the shower. Not many channels to watch.
- Jeremy (4/5): - The patrons at this hotel were very suspicious. If my husband was not with us, I would not have stayed there. They could not issue a refund when we asked. We asked for a refund because it was unclear if we were getting a smoking or non-smoking room. The TV didn't work even with me using my hot-spot and trying to screen cast from my phone. The beds were very uncomfortable and on an unsteady platform. The only positives were it was an affordable room as we were only needing a place to sleep as we were just passing through for less than 10 hours and the shower was good. We weren't even comfortable eating the complimentary breakfast because of our surroundings.
- Brian (10/5): - This place is more than what it’s worth for the price. The staff and owners are amazing people and work with you to the best of their abilities!
- Lassey (10/5): - Nice people, great stop when you're tired, no complaints!
- Frances (8/5): - NO WIFI, TV SCHEDULE, NO REAL BREAKFAST FOOD, NOT EVEN MILK FOR CERAL. The ROOM WAS BASIC FOR THE PRICE NIGHTSTANDS MOVE AROUND IF LIGTHLY TOUCHED.
- Joyce (10/5): - Cleaned
- Deborah (8/5): - Some updates done but furniture is still older. Took our soap after the first day and didn't replenish it
- Brydon (4/5): - Cockroaches in our room
- Brenda (8/5): - The staff was very pleasant. The room was old but clean except for the floors. I spilled some water on the floor and wiped it up with a white cloth. The cloth was black after I wiped up a small water spill.
- alexander (2/5): - Dead crickets all over
roaches at nights
Dirty sheets
bloodstain on the pillow
Hair on bed
Dirth Shower
- Lenore (2/5): - Cheap motel and you get what you pay for.
- Terry (2/5): - room was dirty and smelled like smoke
there were roaches and other bugs
- Tamara (6/5): - There was no continental breakfast. There was honey buns, and some cereal no milk no nothing else and that was it. And my room had food on the dresser. It had not been cleaned. Maybe the sheets were changed.
- Stan (2/5): - WIFI not working, thermostat could not be adjusted, flies flying in the room, TV remote not functioning.
- Timothy (6/5): Not what I reserved - The cleanliness of the hotel wasn't too bad but the bathroom door would not shut because of how it was mounted. One of the pocket lights in the ceiling were coming out. Bed was very hard and I was supposed to get according to my reservation a king size bed I did not!
- Victor (10/5): Great stay and location in Belton ! - Great location and best of all pricing ! Front desk clerk was a great help checking in late at night! Made everything real easy and was in our room in no time !
- Gary (6/5): - A good place for the money. Bed was comfortable and checkin was quick and easy.
- Ashlie (10/5): - Loved everything
- Casey (2/5): - They took my reservation and full payment knowing they had no power due to a storm.1 hr later they were unable to honor my reservation and unwilling to refund my payment. Bad business.
- Edward (2/5): EL - The room smelled bad, I was called bcuz the original room was damaged by weather. That was very nice but the hotel had a strong odor of somekind
- Janice (4/5): - Trash overflowing by 2,3 times capacity
Floors in room were not clean. Ice bucket smelled strongly of vomit
- John (6/5): - If you are looking for breakfast included then this is not the place for you. Hostess honey buns and cinnamon rolls are it. Otherwise very basic simple hotel.
- Michael (8/5): - I'm not a big fan of Motels overall. This was reasonable for the price. It was clean enough and the staff was friendly.
It seemed to be more of a place for truckers and people just needing a place to crash, like me.
- Thomas (2/5): - They claim to have laundry but don't. Came down 3 times for "Breakfast" to no coffee and an empty bowl for whatever was supposed to be in it (fruit?).
Zero security. Allowed a crowd of "workers" to sit outside and drink and be loud into the early morning hours that left 100's of beer bottles everywhere. Came out to trash all over my vehicle tossed from floor above.
Burnt out lights in the room, receptacles that didn't work. Broken towel rack, shower curtain didn't fit so water everywhere. Broken TV remote. Curtains ducktaped to the wall.
Zero complaint resolution - just got shoulder shrugs as they were too busy on the phone discussing their own personal business.
Morning desk agent (owner? that wouldn't get off phone) Parked they're brand new Corvette diagonally taking up the entire carport so that no one else could go through there and load/unload while it was beginning to rain.
There were cheaper options out there but I'm not so sure there could have been anything worse out there!!
- Roberta (2/5): - We had roaches in the first room they changed us the next morning and that one also had roaches. They didn't do anything to accommodate us
- Joseph (4/5): - 1. When we checked in they told us they could not give us a room because our credit card was declined.
2. Had receipt for payment to my card. We had to call Expedia and talk to them.
3. Expedia keep putting us on hold finally after 1hr they got Expedia and checked us in.4
4. Room was neat but cricket in bath tub, roach crossing floor between the 2 beds. Loud ac unit. A terrible nights sleep.
5. Don't think I will use Expedia again.
- Laurence (10/5): - Fair price for the services rendered.
- Paul (10/5): - Clean room. Quick and easy check-in. Breakfast bar left a lot to be desired but i didn't expect much so only slightly disappointed. I wound stay here again.
- Douglas (8/5): - Decent sized room. Reasonable price. Nice staff.
- Sharon (10/5): - The cereal machine was broken
- Jackie (2/5): - Watch your charges they tried to charge an amount that wasn't authorized was able to get it back but person seemed scared almost like a got caught scare. Sketchy place
- Tony (10/5): - Other than 1 tenant, the whole experience was peaceful, and enjoyable
- Michelle (10/5): - Great staff and room was extremely clean
- CasandraM (8/5): - Everything was alright other than floors were in need of a good mopping
- Amanda (10/5): - Loved it
- Lawrence (8/5): - The name says it all, “Econo” Lodge. The building and rooms are old and dated, but clean. Bed was comfortable but the sitting chairs could use a good cleaning. Breakfast was very basic, cereal, bananas and some kinda of pre packed bun. To the person who complained of bugs and gave the hotel a bad rating, why did you stay 4 nights? This is the problem with reviews.
- Ray (10/5): - Front desk were very polite, unending hot water for showers, didn't even ask for maid service but they came while i was out and did a great job
- Verified traveler (6/5): Needs improvements - There were bugs all over on the floor. The door did not shut properly and it was cold and rainy outside with a cold draft seeping into the room making it difficult to stay warm.
- Crissy (10/5): Not fancy, but clean - Room was clean. Definitly not fancy, but we just needed a bed and a shower. Perfect for an equestrian event at the Expo center.
- SANDRA (4/5): Refund on room - Th room had crickets running around, the tub was dirty on the bottom floor of the tub along with a black stIn on the side of it. I was grossed out andfekt unsanitary. Istayef awake until 430 am dreading getting in the bed to sleep. If you dont mind staying in those conditions, its the place t stay, personally it was a horrible stay and night without sleep and forget about showering.
- Paul T. (8/5): - The room was clean. The blanket had cigarette. burns and one on the bath tub. Didn't really bother me, just saying
- Robert (10/5): - Didn’t have much for breakfast
- Casandra (8/5): - The room was clean and well prices
- Lori (8/5): Nice for one night. - Room was clean. Staff friendly. Location good. No in room coffee, which would be nice. Tv would operate properly.
Only able to get one channel. Nice for just grabbing a quick sleep, but not long term. Would probably use again but only if other options unavailable.
- Luis (2/5): Horrible!!!! - The place was horrible. A/C did not work. Microwave was unusable. Everything was dirty (See pictures). Mattress was to big for the base. Absolutely, never coming back.
- David (10/5): - quiet
- William (6/5): - Clean room, Nice room, We liked that the flooring that was NOT the notorious grungy motel carpet - it was a nice sort of tile floor. The staff was friendly and helpful as they could be and responsive to our requests.
Our only "problems" we had were the lights in the bathroom did not work - and then worked, and then didn't work. We found someone elses pubic hair in the bottom of the bath tub. We also found the shower curtain rod laying in the bath tub and the shower curtain was folded on the sink - The shower curtain rod was broken and could not be reinstalled after 5pm on a Friday. Which meant we could NOT take showers - and we REALLY wanted to!
But other than that - it was a nice experience and we are willing to give them another chance sometime. We understand that "stuff happens". It was a busy Friday night and they just didn't have anyone available to "fix things" at that time of day on a Friday evening. The staff was friendly, responsive and apologetic. But life sometimes throws you curve balls.... And we would go back...
- Tim (10/5): Wonderful stay - It was very quiet and the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The young guy that worked the night shift was wonderful and very polite. We enjoyed the stay and will be back in the future.
- Rodney (8/5): - Had everything, clean and good price
- Belinda (2/5): - This motel is the NASTYEST roach infestation dirty and unclean hotel I have ever in my life been to the owner is very rude and hateful and trys to go into your room when u leave to go to the store
- Stephen (8/5): Decent - Ok
- Mike (8/5): - Decent low budget hotel.
- Daphen (2/5): - What a rip off $80 for a room that I stayed in from 5:30am checked in after being on the road driving for several hours til 11am check out but around 6am it was noisy as hell, and I couldn’t sleep from the upstairs rooms and outside noise. For the price I paid for the room, I should have been able to sleep!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good place to stay
- Ghufran (8/5): One night stay - It was one night, too much construction vehicles in parking lot.
The continental breakfast was at all not to its standards. Only coffee, bananas and muffins were served, no juice or milk. The online ad said that breakfast will be served till 11 a.m. while it was served till 9 a.m. (6 to 9 a.m.).
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Just didn't feel clean.
- Brittany (8/5): Decent stay - Just stayed here for a wedding so just slept here for the night. Good for it's price and the bed was comfortable
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The light in shower area was horrible the shower was horrible. Door looked like it had been kicked in and trim of door inside was off. There was no breakfast beside pastry in a bag , coffee. Will not ever stay there again. Could have stayed at motel 8 for same price and so much better. Pool was not open. Room smelt
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean rooms, quiet, close to town, gas station next door. Staff is nice and accommodating when possible. This is not the fanciest place but it is clean, and cheap.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Unclean. Do not recommend this place at all. Will not be back.
- Lana (10/5): - room was clean, bed was comfortable, AC cold.
Bathroom floor needs to be scrubbed in the corners but its a minor detail. :)
- Robert (6/5): Clean and inexpensive - It was clean and fresh smelling, no bkfst or coffee. Manager was pleasant.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room coffee maker didn't work.. And the lobby didn't have any either.. bummer..
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I booked a room there for a couple employees last minute. They sent pictures of disgusting stains on the sheets and bed, everything was dirty and gross and there were roaches and bugs EVERYWHERE!
- BELINDA (10/5): - GOOD
- Robert (8/5): Rest - Great for just rest from traveling
- Verified traveler (4/5): Don't Stop Here Keep Going - The room was not clean and one of the drawers was broke off. When you run the water it smelled like sewer. When I told the mgr about the broken furniture he tells me something about they dont make much off of when you get a deal through here as though its ok to have unexceptable conditions because I got the rm through hotels.com
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No swimming pool in the middle of July... Its Texas
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Easy access off highway Clean rooms very nice staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): - everything was great only problem i could not get into wifi the desk couldn't get
- John (4/5): Won't stay again. - No heat in room. Water leaking in bathroom. Very hard, cheap mattress. It said budget and it really was.
- GRACE (10/5): - Very relaxing and the treatment I received from the office clerk was great, will for sure stay again and recommend to friends. The location was also very convenient to where I was going. Very good experience. Thank you.Grace
- Dicidora (6/5): - I didn’t feel safe!
- Debra (8/5): Sleep - A bed was what I needed and what I received.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The free "breakfast" was some packaged muffins and a coffee pot.
- JUDY (6/5): - Hotel Bath Tub was very slick and had No hand rails at all to hold on to to get out of shower.
Had to ask them for clean towels and to clean room.
- Devon (8/5): - Convenient
- Ralph (8/5): Decent hotel at a good price - The hotel was a bit older but the room was fine and everything was in working order. The room was clean and comfortable. There were some noisy neighbors so I guess the sound insulation could be better. Overall, good value for the price
