• Blake (4/5): - The bed was made with 2 top sheets, no fitted sheet on the bed so we ended up on the mattress protector without realizing it. The towels were on the floor like someone had already used the shower before our arrival and none were replaced open pack of hotel shampoo was left open on the counter. The sink did not drain while using. Also no housekeeping the whole 3 days we were there.

• Taelor (1/5): It's more sanitary to sleep in your car. - It was cheap. The bed was comfortable enough. It was filthy- from pee on the bathroom wall, to a used washcloth covered in pubic hair left in the bathroom, to the smell of smoke set in a non smoking room, the staff did nothing to address a single concern. We will not get our deposit because it smells like smoke, even though I've never touched a cigarette in my life. There are reports of bed bugs and roaches in the rooms, the environment outside is nasty and run down.

• Carl (10/5): - The location was great for what I needed to do. The bed was very comfortable. It was a peaceful stay for the weekend. Everything was great! Nothing to improve.
• Debra (1/5): Absolutely horrible and I felt scammed out of $40! - Absolutely nothing! These people are absolute scammers! They charged a $40 deposit when I got there on top of the $76 I already had paid for the room. The $40 deposit was supposed to be returned the next morning at checkout. Upon checkout the little rude lady at the window come running and smiling talking about “we cannot refund your $40 because you smoked in a non smoking room”……. The room reeked of cigarette smell when we first got there so clearly that wasn’t me. Nowhere did ANYTHING state the $40 deposit would not be returned if they said I smoked in their room. The only way they could possibly know that my friend accidentally smoked in there one time until I told him not to was if there was a camera in that room! At that point there is an infringement on privacy and they are absolutely scammers! The only written notification I received about the $40 deposit was that it would be returned as long as no DAMAGES occurred to the room. It said nothing about a smoking policy! Overall HORRIBLE experience for a mediocre room that ended up costing me $116 for one night!

• Moultrie (1/5): One of the worst stays yet - It was horrible. The only thing I really liked was the pricing. Well, first the second towel was dirty and had blood on it seemed like. When you enter the room (212) to the right there is a hole in the ceiling. The door isn't fully secured, it locks but there is a gap in the bottom. The phone wasn't working and staff stops laundry after 2 pm and you have to wait until the next day unless they have access to a key. It seemed to be traces of bedbugs though not sure if that's a current issue

• Young (8/5): Taking a break - Just getting a break from my 90 year old Mom who has dementia. When I have a caregiver and I'm not working, at times I'll just get a room and relax with (hopefully), no interruptions!

If I pay the damage deposit reg - The rate was reasonable You pay and damage deposit, but the owners insist on coming into the room daily to check to make sure nothing is broken or damaged, they state that it’s mandatory and I feel it’s quite invasive.

• Roxanne (1/5): Terrible, 0 out of 10, would not recommend. - Nothing The room was dirty, stains of a questionable nature on the carpet. There isn’t a lobby, the front door is locked and you have to be buzzed in to check in or check out. There were two of us on the registration, but we were only given one bath towel and one hand towel for the room. A king sized bed only had two flat pillows, we had to use the two decorative pillows from the couch just to get a little cushion. The mattress was hard, like rock hard.

If I had been granted an exception to no cancellation policy & been refunded after my phone had reset to night after & I immediately cancelled would have given better review. As a senior, that really hurt paying for a night we weren't there for. The owner had said he would refund if we were out early the next day. We were. He did not honor our request. 2 roaches in shower. No soap at all. No toiletries at all.

This was much better than my experience in Danville VA. the review is on Executive Inn website. The only problem i had was the ice machine didnt work. all in all i haa a good night sleep.

When we brought it up to the owner they walked in and started spraying the room with bug spray while we were eating. Foul odor, they don’t wash the sheets or towels.

They request a deposit and then say mandatory house keeping yet housekeeping is two men who own the place and they do not clean they just go in your room to be nosey and walk out disgusting people and hotel! You’re better off paying more money and stay somewhere nice and clean and who gives you privacy

• Raymond (1/5): Not what it used to be - I only liked the location. The Inn is nothing like it used to be. When I came to town to visit family, I stayed at this Inn a few times before. This place is Not what it used to be. I had no soap in my room, there was an ironing board and no iron. I had no hangers and there were multiple undesirables hanging on the property. In addition, my cousin no longer lives in the area and chose to stay there once she found out that I was there and rented a room. I took her there around 5pm to get a room. She paid for her room and then we left and returned to her sister's house. The purpose for my trip there was for the funeral of her mother, my aunt. We returned to the hotel after midnight. once my cousin finally went to her room, she checked the bed to make sure no bedbugs or anything were there. What she found was blood and other stains under her covers. She reported this to the front desk and they got upset at her for checking the bed. They stated that they could have her thrown out for a stunt like that. I explained to them that i is a common practice of mine other many others around the world to check the bed. He refused to give her another room. She called the police and they came and saw the room for themselves and stated that they would not stay there either. The management then requested that she leave and they will only give her back the security. I asked why not her full rate being that she did not stay in the room. Their reason was that she checked in earlier. But we explained that she had never entered the room until just now and that they could check their camaras for the footage. He claimed that it was to tedious to go through footage and refused. So after filing a report with the police she left and went to another hotel. This type of service is unacceptable and she is going to file a formal complaint with the courts. Therefore I will never stay here again and advised everyone else to stay away from the Budget Host Inn in Henderson, NC
