- Christine (8/5): Nice location and large, comfy room with a balcony! - Nice, clean room with a bay view balcony. Excellent location. Super windy during my stay (40mph!) so PG&E cut the power shortly after I arrived due to wildfire risks. Luckily, it was evening and I'd already eaten dinner before arrival and I had 2 fully charged power banks, flashlights, and my iPod and speaker, so I just relaxed and went to sleep early :) Power was back on by the next morning.

- Selva (3/5): nice view, poor hotel - Overall room was clean, bad customer service. The walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors. The upstairs guess was making too much noise his steps were like pounding on the floor and there was a small kid running around and we hear it very close. We called Lisa at the front desk and the first thing she said was that we can leave. I am not sure if she ever told them as we could not sleep at night because of the noise. We left the next day although we paid for 2 nights.

- Kennedy (10/5): Just what we wanted on the Bay close to a great restaurant - Stayed at the Dega Hotel in Bodega and it was simply beautiful. The recent refurbishment is stunning, everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully done. The beds were incredibly comfortable (the kind you actually look forward to sinking into), and the whole place had such a calm, welcoming feel. What really stood out was the staff—so friendly and genuinely helpful, which made the stay even more special. Would absolutely come back again 🤍 The $15 resort fee doesn’t seem appropriate

- JOAN (9/5): Lovely location and very convenient to the attractions of Bodega Bay - Beautiful location near the Bay. The hotel was easy to access. Convenient to restaurants, bakery, fuel, shopping and sightseeing. Our concierge, Bailey, was very nice. She stayed in touch prior to and during our stay, in case we needed anything! Husband didn't sleep well because the mattress was a little too hard for him. Bed was spacious. Nothing major; wish we could have stayed longer.

Really $7.00? when we accessed the room @ 8PM, the slider door was unlocked, advertised a king pull out sofa bed, but provided no bedding for such bed.
- Vonne (8/5): Super clean room in a great location, close to everything! - Loved the location, room was well appointed & super clean, we were able to walk to Sonoma coast vineyards tasting room & to dinner at Rocker Oysterfellers. The hot tub was very big & the upstairs lounge was perfect for watching the sunset & playing pool. Bailey was great & gave us tons of tips if things to do & places to eat. The staff was very receptive via text. No major issues except the room has no AC Or fan which was fine for us since it wasn’t too hot outside but not sure how it would be in the summer or during warmer temps. Also, checking in, we were given a room number but not a building letter which would have been helpful.

The room wasn't ready for check in so we had to wait for it to be cleaned, which was ok, but once we were in, the smoke detecter kept beeping (i assume because the batteries were dead) but there was NO response from the so called 24/7 helpline so we had to remove it off the ceiling ourselves. Luckily we were able to do this, but the fact there is no one around or available should something go wrong was very poor.

No screens on windows or sliding glass door so uncomfortable leaving open for fresh air when room was hot or stuffy. Text message system for check in and concierge not working properly - nice idea but a lot of kinks. We got a lot of texts but very little info - no guidebook for hotel or town sent as told. Concierge recommendations inaccurate - recommended somewhere that was closed. Online says hot tub not working but it was and we didn't bring suits so that was disappointing. Not a bad stay but could have been better.

Habe sehr viele Nachrichten im Vorhinein bekommen, das war lästig. Mit der Info Check In sei zwischen 16.00 und 18.30 Uhr möglich. Leider war niemand gegen 18 Uhr vor Ort. Unsere Nachrichten bei Booking.com wurden bis heute nicht beantwortet. Nach mehrmaligen Anrufen, konnte uns dann eine Damen per E-Mail unsere Zimmerdetails zusenden. Leider passt so das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überhaupt gar nicht.

Зарегистрировалась онлайн, но не прислали сообщение о моем номере, пришла на ресепшен но никого небыло, оставили номер телефона и пришлось звонить и узнавать лично, хотя написали что пришлют лично сообщение ровно в 4 :00 PM. Не советую эту гостиницу.

- Sharon (10/5): - Lisa, lady at front desk, was amazing!! When she heard we were celebrating our 50th anniversary she brought us champagne, cupcakes and chocolates and an anniversary card!! Our room floors could have been cleaner. Maybe a good mopping was in order, then felt sticky.

The room was very very clean with modern decor and bathroom features, We had a perfect view of the water and the little fireplace made it a very romantic experience. It’s my new favorite place…. LOVED IT! There was nothing I didn’t like but would suggest having a Hot tub for adults only or time when it’s for adults only.

- luckykilfeather (4/5): No views from ground floor (tub rooms) - Unfortunately 1) We booked a King suite with a full Bayview, and there was no view. We had a partial view at best if there wasn't a car parked in front of our patio. 2) when we arrived, the pillowcases were wet and smelled like cleaner. We went without pillowcases the first night. 3) the toilet area smelled like sewage Location was good and upstairs rooms look like they have great views. Better luck next time!

- Alice (8/5): Pleasant stay once reservation was cleared up. Note to self: NEVER USE BOOKING.COM. - We did not know that breakfast was offered. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The reservation system was the worst I have ever experienced. I inadvertently used booking.com to book 2 rooms because I was directed there by BringFido.com. When I completed the reservation, the confirmation page said that pets were not permitted. Given the short time to cancel, I cancelled immediately and received a confirming email. I then got back on BringFido and saw that the property really is listed, as I had thought, so I called. I was told that pets are permitted and rebooked 2 rooms. I paid a $75 pet fee. My AmEx bill came through showing the original reservation and then the cancellation and then the rebook. I thought I was all set. A couple of days before arrival, I got an email from the property saying I had booked 4 rooms. I explained that I only needed 2 rooms. They said to cancel with booking.com. I attempted to do so, but asked not to be charged since I had cancelled earlier. They said they needed to hear from the hotel and only cancelled 1 room. On the 2nd room, I said to myself, to hell with this, I'll fight it at AmEx when I get charged and clicked okay on the cancellation including the charge. I then heard from the hotel that I had 3 rooms under my reservation. I asked for the number to call booking.com, since the online reservation was not working for me. I called the number. It said this is not a number outside parties can use and we are now going to hang up. I called the hotel and asked them to contact booking.com to let them know there would be no charge for my cancellations. They said the email was going out. Next I heard that 2 more rooms had been cancelled and I had a reservation for only 1 room. I called the hotel to have the 2nd room reinstated. They were able to do this. When I arrived at the hotel, the desk clerk said we had 2 rooms but they were in separate buildings. I explained that we had asked for 2 rooms together. She looked again and said that we had another 2 rooms on hold. We used those rooms.
