Nice Adirondack chairs around fire pits in the evening, I enjoyed a nice glass of wine before walking to dinner on the Square Rooms are small and look out onto the parking lot with only one window, so no opportunity for air to flow through.

- Susanne (6/5): For the right price and a brief stop over, but cure decor doesn't compensate for the other issues. - The room and property in general were very nicely furnished and decorated with a cute theme. The owners have spent a lot of time thinking about this. The bath was small but functional. The location was an easy walk to downtown restaurants, Farmer's Market, shops, etc. The walls are very thin -- we could hear our neighbor's conversations and TV blaring. The AC unit was an old style wall unit that was incredibly loud -- but at least it drowned out the neighbors. Parking was tight, and the room itself was small. The first morning the shower backed up some; fortunately not the second day. The "high-speed" internet didn't make it to our room (#11) -- it kept dropping and had a very weak signal. The "light breakfast" was misleading-- filtered coffee and some coffee cake. Paso Robles gets busy and the prices of hotels/rentals has gone sky high in recent years. We tried this place because our usual was booked. We paid $400+/night for this hotel and it was definitely not worth that price. For a lower price and a short visit we might stay here again, but the value for the visit was not justified with cute decor and a slice of coffee cake.

- Cheryl (9/5): The Stables Inn is a cute remodeled property with Fire Pits and walking distance to the town square. - The Stables Inn is a cute newly remodeled property walking distance to the Paso Robles town Square. We were warmly greeted at check-in and our room was ready ahead of schedule. Our room was comfortable, clean and set back away from the road. We enjoyed the firepits and complimentary smore kits in the evening. The continental breakfast was a nice touch and we enjoyed sitting outside. The property is very cute and it is small. Our room did get really hot at night, so we had to leave the AC on.

- Clarissa Joy (9/5): Gorgeous Barnhouse - perfect for girls trip - Location, easy walking to downtown. The barnhouse was perfect for a girls trip. Plenty of space. Super clean and comfortable and had all the amenities. Espresso only pods. What about normal espresso or long black. Breakfast ran out of coffee and granola. Had to ask for this and bowls to be topped up each day.

Blinds didn't block light shining into room. Rather bright to sleep. Fortunately we were in back of the hotel and didn't hear the street noise too much.

Location excellent to walk to the square. The breakfast was lean, with fruit not being replaced was my only complaint. You could enter the small room adjacent to the office to get hot water for tea any time & that was nice. They could be more attentive to the included fruit.

Easy walk with roller bag luggage from the train station and easy walk to town. The island in the middle of the parking lot was better than I thought it would be. We were travelling with a large dog and a baby, and the staff was very thoughtful and friendly It was the first stop on a long trip, and it almost set the bar too high. The location is on the side of a busy road, which made walking and the general atmosphere unpleasant. That being said, they've clearly put a lot of effort into making comfortable and nice outdoor spaces on the property.

- DIEZ (9/5): Excellent Stable theme hotel. - Location is excellent. Walking distance to main area, shops, restaurants etc. Breakfast was good although I just had a little. The theme of the hotel as Stable is very well put together. It is very clean. I liked it. we booked a room for 3 adults and the room is pretty tight for 3 adults. and there was only one robe in the bathroom. Maybe suggest another type of room for 3. Other than that I find it a very good place to stay.

Perfect continental breakfast provided, which we really enjoyed in the morning as a free meal before wine tasting (coffee cake, oatmeal, coffee, yogurt). Basic room, but when you're out winetasting all day, you don't need any more!
