The people next door kept leaving their room and smoking outside on the porch. I was in room 231 and they were adjacent. The odor from their cigarettes kept coming into my room!

Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and quite spacious and the restaurant food was delicious. Another big plus is that the medical center had a free shuttle that ran all day from Pine Barn Inn directly to the main entrance of the hospital. Can’t think of anything negative.

Our 2 day surgery stay turned into a 5 days stay. He went above and beyond to make the transition a breeze. He also made sure we had everything we needed during a stressful time. N/A
• Pivarnik (6/5): We slept well and location was convenient for our needs - Did not eat breakfast on site Signage is terrible. It took forever to find reception because of the poorly displayed signs. Far too small to see at dusk. No signage indoors to lead to reception. Carpet in room was stained and dirty looking. Neighbors above us were noisy and we heard uncontrollable screaming coming from a neighboring room on arrival. Very disconcerting!!!

• Randy (10/5): Quite a different experience! - It was more like a Swiss village! It was quaint, cozy and the separated buildings made it not appear to be a hotel at all. The staff was very accommodating, the restaurant served very good food, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. You should be told when you sign in that all the rooms in Bldg#3, regardless of floor, start with "3", and the same for Bldg#2., all rooms start with"2". We went to the third floor of Bldg#3, high numbers, went to second floor same thing, and finally went to the first floor to Room 302.

Decent distance to our ultimate destination in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Stayed in room 223. It was as if we took a step back into the 1970s. What really concern me the most was the lingering old smoke smell in the room. As well, was surprised that it was an exterior entrance with parking right outside our room. At 5 o'clock in the morning, there were guests outside having a conversation, getting their car started and just generally disrupting our morning routine.

I first knew of the place when my mom stayed there when she was a patient at the hospital. Even when going through some very hard times, she loved The Pine Barn. I highly recommend the place to stay a few nights, or even to have a party.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice Hotel - We enjoyed our very brief stay at this hotel. Front desk was excellent. Getting to the room was quick and easy. The highlight of the stay was having breakfast at the restaurant. Reasonably priced for good breakfast food.

That said, the place was clean, the staff professional, and the beds were acceptable. I cannot give them 5 stars due to the miss representation on line.
