Guest Reviews
- Billy (8/5): - Really close to boardwalk, beach.
- Eliza (6/5): - Moderately close to beach
- JOSHUA (10/5): - Great, friendly staff. Affordable prices.
- Gail (4/5): - Ants in bathroom and sink
- Jennifer (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE!!
We stayed 1 night and it was ok, so we decided to come back 2 weeks later and it was terrible!! The atmosphere changed, The whole area smelled of weed including our bathroom smelled of weed really bad . The room was dirty, walls filthy, the extra toilet paper roll they provided was soaking wet , so disgusting! The door wasn’t secure enough when locked, ripped up ceiling in bathroom looked sketchy, rundown place and nothing nice about it! unsafe area, loud guests fighting and making a bunch of noise, hanging out by the pool you can hear people getting it on downstairs , just not a family orientated place to vacation at, looked like a crack house for druggies, if you want to encounter highly intoxicated people including their employees, place smelling like weed, shady people coming in and out like we witnessed 2 cars pull up from different states that were meeting up, it happened to be a pimp and his prostitute that came in and booked a stay, just stay away!! There are so many other places to stay at and this isn’t one of them!! Save your money and go somewhere else!! The only thing I can say that was nice was the pool looked clean and the staff was friendly, that is when they weren’t too busy getting high or drunk, other than that, you get what you pay for!!
- Jeffrey (8/5): - Not bad for pricing
- Alyssa (2/5): - Bed bugs!!!
- Margarita (8/5): - Everything is ok very quit please nice near in beach
- Darlena (8/5): - It’s need a little more up dating. New rug the rug has an ord . Toilet too low to the floor needs to be replaced bathroom needs some wear to han wash cloths. overall, everything else was pretty good.
- Heather (8/5): - Cleaner then alot of motels down the Jersey shore. Short walk to boardwalk and beach. The rooms with 3 queen sized beds in perfect for family's.
- Vincent (10/5): - great stay
- Jennifert (10/5): - Great place to stay at, staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Joseph (2/5): - Furnishings are horrible. If they were put out on the street with the sign "FREE" no one would take them. poor lighting, no bar for hangers, no fold out racks for drying clothes. Poor sound insulation.
- Rosalinda (2/5): - The only thing unique about the property was the sign showing that it was gonna be condemned if they didn’t clean it up and all the trash, oh and it was unique that the people that work there would not offer a heroine nod by the swimming pool for a while
- Samantha (10/5): - All staff were very nice and polite. They also were very helpful and courteous, and I appreciate the service provided. I stayed in a triple queen bedded room and I was pleased. I wouldn’t mind staying again. Thank you Cloud 9
- Irma (2/5): - Microwave, mini fridge, sink , bathtub was all painted to cover up worn out, shower curtain looks like it's never been washed. I had to put a chair against the door when I went to sleep because I could see outside
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never again - Probably worse motel I’ve ever stayed in. And trust me i know what to expect at a Jersey shore cheap motel. They should be ashamed of themselves. It was fine for the one night we needed it but any longer we would have left.
- Nina (2/5): - It was so bad we didn’t even stay there.
- April (10/5): - So this place was a little sus at first. Property looked a little run down & the room wasn’t the cleanest, but I was able to book a room, as I was driving there from home (Philly), on a Saturday. Cost was $350(?) total. No deposit required. There were things I’m sure people would complain about, but I’m laid back & am super grateful I was able to take my kids somewhere, & make happy memories that will last much longer than one night in a motel room.
This was the first time I was able to take my kids on a little getaway by MYSELF, since my fiance suddenly passed away (4 years ago) & I’m really appreciative Cloud 9 Inn was part of our journey.
The woman who checked us in (I forget her name) was really helpful & sweet. She’s the property manager & did everything to help her staff & guests.
- Megan (4/5): - 2 blocks from the beach!
Everything in the room was just a little bit broken and grungy.
- Carmen M (6/5): - The room wasnt in good condition. The hotel was outdated very old and it wasnt that clean. I felt I pay too much money for this stay. I was not happy in the condition the room was and outside thirty. ThevTV volume was too loud . Try to.lower the volume, but didnt work. Little hot water. The water was cool. I had 2 minor children with me. The picture on your website is not the same as the room. The room very old and not clean. I.need to get some credit for the bad night we had. Thank you Carmen Vega
- Cynthia (2/5): - Nothing , I liked absolutely nothing waiting for my refund.
- Penelope (8/5): - It was a good location. But motel was just okay nothing to write home about.
- Isabella (2/5): - Bed bugs and mouse droppings were present in the room and the cleaning staff was drinking on the job and catcalling young females.
- Percio (2/5): A very base hotel - The place wasn’t clear and was trash old AC and refrigerator all over the place
My wife want to leave when we got there but we drove 2 and half hours to get there
- Chris (2/5): - Very
- Carlos (6/5): - Hotel could use an update since it seems like its an older hotel
- Diele Braz de Almeida (2/5): - Terrível
- Sheri (4/5): - It’s the cheapest for a reason. We checked in dropped off our bags then hit the boardwalk. When we returned tired and ready for bed, we saw the sheets were covered in sand and dirt and who knows what else. One of the blankets has a something hard on it like a stain. I wanted a complete refund but it was late and the lady at the desk offered us a new room. I wasn’t expecting a great room but atleast clean sheets. The staff were really nice though.
- Christine (8/5): - Clean and accommodating
- Bryan (10/5): - I sayed at cloud 9 inn and it was a great hotel ...itvhas 1 star so i did not expect that..one qeek later i stayed at atlantic inn whixh was thebmost miserable horribke nasty mean dangerously sad that hotel charged me 87 fornone night..notnonly do ibwant a refund but fiked police report and am going to take legal action against thebowner..after telling him my door does not lock from outside hebtold me to stay inside if i dont want to getbthibgs stolen..i need a refund
- Fernanda (2/5): - Terrível
- Thuan (2/5): - I like nothing here
- vincent (2/5): - Doos don’t lock. Ants all over bathroom disgusting dirty window curtains
- Justin (10/5): - Disgusting!
- Jessica (4/5): - ANTS EVERYWHERE
- Christine (10/5): - Nice manager, clean rooms, conveniently located, pool
- Marissa (10/5): - Clean
- Marissa (10/5): - Room was clean and you could tell as soon as you stepped in.
- Jaide (4/5): - It was very dirty. Our comforter and sheets were dirty, the couch was torn, the shower and toilet weren’t cleaned prior. We stayed because it is a zero refund policy. Doors are kinda sketchy also, easy to break in. On a positive note, Check in and check out was easy, but other than that I’d recommend the surrounding motels and inns which are similar prices!
- Jason (4/5): - Meh
- Stacey (10/5): - It was perfect. The beach was literally across the street. No one bothered us. Will stay again.
- Clinton (6/5): - The place is got roaches
- Blanca (2/5): - Dirty , no power in outlet , customers services no good the building it horrible, rooms smell bad , they don’t clean also don't disinfect also shower as mold there full of dust
- vincent (2/5): - Run like hell. My wife called the department of health on this place and SHAME ON ORBITZ for even having this place… does Orbitz actually send someone to see the properties they sign up?
TERRIBLE
- John (2/5): - There was blood on the wall. Ants and other unknown bugs everywhere. The door barely shut. Shower was disgusting. Toilet ran constantly and bathroom door shut extremely hard. The check in was extremely difficult. We had to ribg the bell, knock on a room door and call before we was able to check in.
- betty (4/5): - There were many small ants. And floor was a bit dirty
- Anwar (8/5): - It was good place
- kelly (8/5): - My daughter and I came down for the night to go to a concert at jenks boardwalk. This was the cheapest hotel for one night and average boardwalk hotel just didn’t like that people were out at the pool until 1 o’clock in the morning being loud
- Wilfredo (8/5): - The staff has always been very supportive and helpful
- alesha (2/5): - They charged us before getting there even though it said pay when we arrive. We asked why and she said we have others trying to book so we had to ensure it was booked. it was very dirty, nothing is updated. It was extremely run down
- Monica (2/5): - Check in was easy. Room was dirty and things were severely run down. I didn’t expect much but we were offered drugs on the way to our room. The shower was un usable. And there was no air conditioning. Its summer! I didn’t expect much it was fine for a night i guess but never again.
- Lynn (2/5): - Needs a lot of updating
- Vielka (2/5): - Es muy anticuada, habían cucarachas, el agua en el baño no dejaba de likear, la TV solo funcionó un canal. Lo único bueno es la cercanía al Boardwalk
- nathan (2/5): - tv didn’t work, stains on sheets and pillows, doors all dented, holes in bed frames, trash behind and under beds, etc
- Catherine (8/5): - Very nice staff
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Well, I had to fix the toilet by myself, the door had cracks on the bottom like it looked like it had been kicked in, and we then heard they had electrical problems with the pool, yet they still allowed people to swim.
- betty (6/5): - It was better than i expected. Decently clean
- Jennifer (4/5): - The only positive thing is it's about a block away from the boardwalk. Mattress gave us back pain, shower had hair, shower rod was completely deteriorated, hair in the bathroom. There was a fridge and microwave. We didn't use the microwave so I dont know if it worked. Pool was mainly green. You get what you pay for.
- Leeann (2/5): - I will and do not recommend. The owner was rude, there was no hot water and ants everyware, the pool was gross dirty, the only thing good about it was close to the boardwalk
- Cordelia (6/5): - Somewhat cheaper stay very close to boardwalk. Doesn't look like the classiest place. Room had a smell. Pool was clean.
- Frank (2/5): - The room had roaches. The service was horrible. The pool was green with algae and unusable.
- Louis (8/5): - Friendly and polite staff
- Claribel (2/5): - Theres was roaches and the tv did not work and the man downstairs was upset that we woke him up to tell him the tv does not work
- Victoria (2/5): - Stayed one night saw two big cockroaches one coming out of the sink the other one behind the toilet and a baby one next to the bed in the middle
- Maureen (8/5): - Updating is needed
- Cindy (2/5): - The place was dirty and smelled, the bathroom
Smelled like feet, paint was peeling, the host or owner was rude and very unwelcoming, the tv didn’t work.
- Devinder (8/5): Good work - Good hotel
- Charles (2/5): Nightmare in Seaside Heights NJ - Upon my arrival the owner was rude and nasty because no one was in the office and I had to knock on his hotel room> TThe have no amenities whatsoever , not even ice. The phyical condition of building is essentially in shambels DO NOT STAY HERE. We slep on top of the beds because we were concerned about bed bugs
- Rochelle (4/5): - Bugs. Shower in poor condition. No safety bar in shower. You can hear everything .
- Salvatore (2/5): - This was the most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed in. I wasn’t expecting luxury but this was abhorrent! I saw actual bugs crawling across the floor last night. There was a fist-sized hole in the wall filled with a crumpled up brown paper bag. The mattress cover had a brown stain on it. The air conditioner unit was beyond filthy. It was so out of date and things were falling apart. I went out of my way to touch as little as possible. I chose this spot because the rating and pictures seemed acceptable for a quick one-night stay as I passed through town but my god… You should be ashamed for running a business this way.
- Ines (2/5): - Room was very filthy broken down and bug infested. The dirty pool was open all night making it impossible to get a good nights rest before 3:00am. The whole property was littered with garbage.
- Calvin (8/5): - Staff was great! Room with the three beds couldn’t have worked out better! Bedding was a little sandy but nothing a good shake off couldn’t help!
- Thomas (2/5): - Bathroom is disgusting
- Ana (2/5): - I don’t think I have ever stayed in a place so dirty and filthy, the bathroom looks like no one cleaned in a while, the shower curtain was fill with mold, the refrigerator at the room dirty, the chair and sofa with stain, headboard broken..
- Verified traveler (2/5): Would be better off sleeping in your car - Smell of stale cigarettes lingering in the room. No sheet set on bed, rather a flimsy comforter and 1 thin fitted sheet. Trash can and bathtub were filthy. Teenagers booking next door partied until 5 in the morning and were loud/belligerent. I’m surprised that this hotel is still in service.
- Francis (2/5): - Do not stay here. Dirty, dingy and unsafe. Loud at night since it is all kids piled into different rooms. Do not stay here! Awful!!
- Michael (2/5): - This property was very dirty and ...DARK....The light and the Tv in the room where broken and did not work... The pool was not open and did not even have water in it :( when my girlfriend and myself showed up at the hotel all the beding was being sorted out by the empty pool along with the pillows ? .....I HAVE NO CLUE WHY ...I have never seen anything in my life like this ..it was so bad that my girlfriend and myself had know other choice but to find another hotel to stay at.. my girlfriend felt unsafe at this location. So no less did I pay for this location I had to pay for another...Both Expedia and the hotel should be ashamed of buting the nice pictures on this site when this hotel looks absolutely nothing like what the pictures look like ... I hold Expedia and the hotel accountable for having to pay for another hotel...
- Tammy (2/5): - The staff was friendly however, the hotel itself is filthy. The room was not clean, hair in shower, stained sheets. There were cigarette butts and garbage laying around outside. It was very run down. The lock on the door was broken. There was a duck and garbage in the black water pool. I get that the pool would not be open but to have it left like that tells you about the how the rest of the place was
- Denis (10/5): - The room was a nice size with the kitchen convince all in one area. Bed was comfortable well maintained with the night table access with built in socket for charging my electronics
- Pekka (6/5): - Ok
- Lisa (4/5): - They charged me $80 per night for 2 nights. Never honored the Expedia price of $60 ~
Disappointing
- Maria (6/5): - Nice comfortable for the price
- Gregory (10/5): - Very Convenient location, just a couple blocks from the Boardwalk, Beach, Dining, Bars. Room was just fine, had everything we needed, very clean. Staff is friendly and accomodating in the event there are any needs. I always stay here when I come to Seaside Hts. Been coming and staying here for 5 yrs.
- Pedro (4/5): - Had a bad visit to cloud 9 ,no hot water ,slow wifi, very dirty ,and water leak on ceiling in multiple places. Will not visit again.
- Yeleinny (10/5): - Felt at home. Nice people
- Gerald (10/5): If you like beaches and BBQ ... - This place is great. All dive Seaside Heights motels are kind of the same, but this has bigger than average pool, and a nice poolside grill used by guests to make BBQ and burgers (which I've not seen elsewhere).
- Daryl (2/5): - The room stank. And terrible old stuff. Outside was dirty
- Verified traveler (2/5): This hotel is a scam - This hotel is a scam. I never saw something like this before. Everything dirt, bathroom smells pee, the room smells cigarette (what the manager said “he can’t controls who smoke or not inside the room”). I decided to leave the hotel with my sons when I saw cockroach in the bathroom.
- Janae (8/5): - Convenient
- Cristal (6/5): - I could say so much, but if your looking to just sleep, shower and change the place is decent enough. Long term renters do live here. Most are very pleasant and welcoming like the owners, but one family in particular is very rude and disrespectful towards the owner. Making our family very uncomfortable. I really hope they can get rid of that negativity in their hotel in order to help their Hotel prosper. I wish them the best of luck
- Dana (2/5): - When i arrived the hotel looked nothing like the pictures and appeared unsafe. I left and found a more appropriate place to stay with my granddaughter
- Phillip (8/5): - It is a beach motel so it obviously wasn’t the best but the staff was wonderful and sweet we had beds to sleep in and a pool to swim in!!! Kids were happy parents were happy!
- Mary Jane (8/5): - I am at the beach for all of the day. All i need is a clean bathroom, bed, microwave and fridge and im good.
- aurelio (6/5): - I dont think they change the bed sheet pillow cases and others! Bathroom STICKS !! Doors are old and broker. Rooms are so dark not enough light. Bottom line -! Never again even its FREE ! Insane!! NO TV ! In short , its not what you think it is. 👎👎👎
- Helen (8/5): Good place to stay just need and upgrade - It was nice wish the ac worked more needs upgraded but it was nice the pool was nice kids enjoyed it
- irene (2/5): Dont bother!! - This was about the worst room we have ever been in. The pictures were deceiving. No pictures on the walls, the lighting was horrible and there was hair on the toilet tank and bathtub and I had to ask the people there to clean and sanitize it. No draws to put clothes, no hooks to hang things.
- Krista (2/5): Stay away - This hotel was horrible the man working the desk was racist and so unprofessional. Ruined my daughters birthday
- Julio (8/5): - My experience was ok. Two wildly own the hotel. So the place was so great. But ok
- Andrew (6/5): - A little expensive
