Guest Reviews
- Connie (10/5): - We booked this room for a wedding. It was extremely clean & the staff was super friendly. It’s not swanky but for a clean & conveniently located place to sleep, it’s perfect.
- Paul (6/5): - Refrigerator not working properly. Freezer barely got cold, took 2 days to make ice (at coldest setting). Got put on 2nd floor despite reserving room well in advance. Staff yelled to each other from outside my room while I was trying to sleep. Did not have these problems in years past.
- Heather (10/5): - Rooms are very clean and quiet. It is very close to shopping and dining. The couple who own the place are the nicest, sweetest people. We have stayed twice and will go back next year.
- Rick (8/5): - Room is spacious. Has a refrigerator and a stove/oven. Bed in separate room. No tv in bedroom.
- Benjamin (10/5): - I like to give my business to local owners rather than corporate owners
- Janice (8/5): - I would return and stay there again
- Tracey (2/5): Unpleasant - If you are looking for a pet friendly place to stay go elsewhere. The lady at the front desk was very kind and nice, but the room had two air conditioners and only one worked. The bathroom was dirty, the floors were downright filthy. My dog spilled a little bit of water and I got a towel to wipe up the floor and the white towel was black. The walls must be paper thin, because I could hear the people in the other room yelling. I would never stay there again.
- anthony (10/5): - Second time staying at this property and will stay again. The owners are genuinely gracious people and provide a great value to their guests.
- Erik (8/5): - Rooms were decently sized and clean. Easy parking and well lit property at night. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
- Oluwole (8/5): - Good for the price
- Vitaliy (8/5): - This is affordable, relatively clean and convenient place to stay, only minutes driving from town center and all the shopping and restaurants. there is kitchen in the room, so just bring your products and save on outside dining at your convenient time and dietary. overall it was all we need as family to stay couple of nights and save few hundreds compared to bigger name hotels.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was very nice and we plan on staying again. We door dashed our meals and was pleased.
- Margaret (8/5): - The owners were so kind and prompt to our requests. The suite was clean snd comfortable. We have already booked more weekends in advance.
- Joseph (6/5): - Check in was easy and the staff was great, the place wasn’t cleaned and was very dated. The floors were dirty, and the lock on the door was busted
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was exactly what we needed. Great accommodation for the money, no doubt.
- Pauline (8/5): - The heat unit would rattle at night and the unit in the bedroom was briken. Overall the room was nice.
- Shannon (8/5): Small efficiency apartment - We booked the room specifically because it had a kitchen. Small, but well laid out with a small seating area. Coffee pot (not a Keurig), stove, full size fridge, pull out queen size sofa, and a separate queen size bedroom with a closing door. Only there one night, but it was pleasant. My only complaint was the electric cord for the AC in the bedroom had been cut off, so the only air for the room was in the front. In order to be comfortable, we had to turn it on high so the front room was freezing but the bedroom was still a little warm
- Maria (2/5): Dirty bedsheets - Could not bring myself so sleep there and left for another hotel after I had already paid for the room. Hairs on the bedsheets, cigarette holes on the bedsheets and brownish from dirt pillows under the stained pillow cases.
- Theresa (6/5): - Price was good. Clean but not very comfortable.
Adequate for our one night stay
- Devin (4/5): - Weird smell to the room and an unreliable AC
- Patricia (10/5): - The room was much larger than I expected. There were 2 TVs, a sofa, a full size fridge, stove, microwave, dining table in addition to a bedroom and bathroom.
The outside area was extremely well lit.
- Nicole (8/5): - They are dog friendly and there was a nice grass area to let the dog potty. The rooms were very nice and more for a longer term stay but still nice. They had newer lvp flooring and a newer mattress. It’s obvious the hotel was older. The appliances were a bit worn and the furnishings were more residential than hotel, but it was very clean, quiet and comfortable.
- Karen (8/5): - We were in town for a couple of days and it was a nice and comfortable place to stay
- Jeffrey (8/5): - It is what it should be. A reasonably priced budget option for a night. It was clean, shower was good. Furnishings a bit dated, but overall value for money.
- Craig (6/5): - Very basic place
- Robert (6/5): - Bed uncomfortable.
- Luis (2/5): - Someone bypassed 2 of our 3 locks and opened our door while my wife fearfully moved to not expose herself. They claimed room service. They had to undo our deadbolt and door locks. It was 2 hours before checkout.
The room has multiple maintenance issues. I would recommend choosing a local competitor or spending more for peace of mind.
- Kim (10/5): Budget and Perfect - This is a budget motel but with all the necessary amenities and lots of room. It’s dated but very clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were there for a university sporting event and it was perfect for our needs. The couple that run this hotel are so genuinely nice… the best asset!
- Dickie (8/5): Good deal - The price was fair and I wanted a bed to sleep in for the night it was just what I wanted
- Barbara (8/5): - Very appreciative that is pet friendly! Nothing is luxurious about the property, and decor is just basic but very clean and manager is very cordial and helpful.
- Larry (6/5): - There is a door bell to ring to get into the lobby and someone comes to let you in to sign in and get your key. I didn’t feel too great about that (we arrived around 7pm, but it’s still dark in winter) and other guests were standing by their vehicles smoking while I rang the doorbell. There’s no tv in the only bedroom if you usually fall asleep watching tv.
- Lynn (8/5): - Strong Wi Fi and hot bath and clean sheets /old key entry and old style of door security ! Don,t plan on an extended stay
- Donna (8/5): Decent hotel - Check in was super easy and girl at reception desk was very nice. Room was decent. Bathroom relatively clean but hair in tub and toilet. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and hot breakfast in the morning was good.
- Lisa (10/5): Good Stay - It was a good stay, short, but very clean.
- Richard (8/5): Basic 1 Bedroom Apartment with Kitchen - These are really 1 bedroom apartments with a King bed in at least my case. Know however that the furnishings are rather tired looking as they appear gathered from used furniture stores. And the refrigerator exterior finish in my unit was either degraded or dirty. Also, for those who care, the flat screen TV is in the front living area so no watching from bed. But, I was able to do a little cooking with the supplied pots, pans, etc. and was happy to have a freezer.
- Jesse (6/5): Basic but clean - This is an older hotel with old furniture. The girl at the desk was polite and efficient.
The room was clean, but the cup ( there was only one coffee cup) was dirty. The only coffeebasic was decaf
- Terry (8/5): - For a older motel very clean. Only issue was toilet seat was falling off...
- David (6/5): - very basic
- Martha (6/5): - For the money it was fine. It definatly nedds some updating.
- JOHN (10/5): - I highly recommend this place. The owners were a very, very friendly Indian couple. They were both super nice and helpful! I went to the Little League World Series in Williamsport and motels/hotels there started at $250 a night and more. This was very affordable! Rooms were nice and very clean. The rooms were a little old, but kept up nice. Full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave and plates and stuff. Bedroom was in a separate room. Comfortable bed. The only down side was there a lot of workers mostly on the first floor, 2nd floor was great. Quite and away from all the action. Would stay there again!
- Larry (6/5): - Staff was very pleasant. The front room AC did not work but the bedroom one did.
- hugh (10/5): - The staff were very helpful and courteous.
- Jennifer (8/5): - The first impression upon arriving at the lobby is questionable but the owners were willing to give us an actual key to go check out the room. The suite with kitchenette was perfectly adequate for our one night stay. Putting a small amount of effort into some minor repairs would significantly improve the suite- a few lights in the bathroom didn’t work, nor did the oven heat up. The faucet in kitchen sink was loose and the plastic trim in bathroom needed more adhesive. Offering a kitchen towel would be helpful.
Only one mug for coffee in the kitchen so we improvised with something we had.
The owners were polite and friendly
- Maureen (10/5): - Its a inexpensive place to stay for families
Has refrigerator, microwave and stove
Very clean
- Melissa (10/5): Loved our stay - We were very impressed with our experience. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room was amazing! It was like a small apartment with everything we could possibly need. Would definitely stay again.
- Joyce (6/5): Would not stay again. - The sofa was very rundown. The refridgerator was not cold at all. The the only good point was that the bathroom was very clean. For the price I expected much better condition.
- William (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, affordable, a 1minute drive to Bucknell...well done.
- Jeffrey (8/5): - No visible vending machines
- Anne (10/5): - Not much around in terms of restaurants etc without driving a few miles. Seemed clean and spacious for a brief stay
- Maureen (8/5): - I was very impressed with this facility
I was not aware that it would have a stove, microwave of course refrigerator
it was like a small apartment
it was clean and efficient
the bed was very comfortable
I will definitely stay here again the price was very reasonable for an overnight stay
- robert (8/5): - Stayed here on Bucknell parents weekend. Had low expectations, but room was spacious, clean, well-equipped and comfortable. It is an efficiency motel next to the busy commercial road but is well-located to visit the school, well cared for by its considerate caretakers, and probably better than you expect when you see it from the road.
- Christine (6/5): - The property was in OK condition but not great. There were broken towel racks, missing light bulbs and those sort of small inconveniences. The worst part was how dirty the floors were. I made the mistake of walking around without shoes. My white socks were black on the bottom!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Would not reccommend. - The room was adequate and clean. The bathroom sink water did not turn off completely and hot and cold were reversed. The check in clerk was confused and did not use a computer, and the appearance of the property was disgusting. The place was adequate for our needs but much less than expected by their post on hotels.com
- Bill (10/5): - For the price and what the room, kitchenette, bedroom was extremely worth more than what you get.
- Luis E (2/5): - The sofa bed was extremely dusty
The windows curtains like filters with all the holes in it
The pillows/ towels smells bad and had a lot of stains on them we buy new ones in Walmart and left them behind
The cockwares were oxidated with a lot of rust on them idem buy new
The toilet when flushed the water/solutions will come up first and after a while will go down
It's like due the fact it was the Little League World Series and the options for a available stay where limited the owners when they have your money in their pocket they don't care about you anymore because first it look like they has renovated the place in the year 2000 everything is outdated
In our opinion we needed to get at least a good discount on our stay for that terrible stay we have experienced, so we will be pending for our refund
- Pete (2/5): - Don’t stay here
- vyohm (2/5): This place is good for junkies' - Bath room sink faucet was broken, no cold water only hot water was coming, I burnt my hand.
Kitchen sink was clogged water was not draining
Bed was very uncomfortable very cheap bed, whole family got up with body ache.
Basic shampoo was not provided in the bathroom.
Living room was full of insects. I checked in at 9 PM. There was bright light in front of the room attracting thousands of insects struggled to get inside the room.
Couple of people sitting outside taking marijuana, front porch was filled with marijuana smell.
- Joanne (8/5): - The room was clean and worked well as it didn’t face the highway, so some of the road noise was muffled. Staff was helpful and facility worked for us.
- Lisa (6/5): - The grass was pretty deep and there were almost more rocks than grass in the yard. We would have used the grill and picnic table but was afraid to venture through the deep grass to where they were sitting.
- Michael (2/5): - Our room was dirty with dead insects on the floor, curtains would not fully close (my husband fixed that) and the closet door just about feel on my head when I tried to open it. There was also an odor to the room. We were no in the room for more than 10 minutes, left and stayed elsewhere. I contacted the front desk but no manager was available to discuss a refund. I have since sent an e-mail to All suites Inn asking for refund.
- Kenneth (6/5): - It was decent
- MOHAMMED SAFIAN (8/5): - Good and decent place to spend a night
- Brian (8/5): - Good location and nice amenities. Looks cleans.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Friendly staff - Friendly staff. Clean place. Could use some updates. Suites have plenty of room and full kitchen.
- Marilyn (8/5): - Older property that could still use some help. Some of the furniture was scratched and need to be updated. The carpet and flooring looked new and the walls had been painted. The bed was very comfortable. The door trim and heater in the bathroom were rusty in spots. It was very clean though.
Limited dishes in the kitchen. Outside walkway and step to parking area need work. Overall, ok place but not what I expected for over $100.
- Thomas (10/5): - All okay
- Tom (4/5): - It was open in the wee hours when my car broke down, and it was close the the car shop.
Heat fan would have woken all the neighbors.
- richard (10/5): - gave us everything we needed at a great price
- Lory (8/5): - Friendly, helpful staff
- Dennis (6/5): - Refrigerator was dorm size, not as shown in the picture. Room was clean. No smoke or other odors. Stared down at check in, started as pulled into parking lot, clerk continuously stared at us, very odd. Continued through check in????
- Jim (8/5): - Clean room, close to Campus. Nice kitchenette
- Verified traveler (4/5): Mediocre at best - The beds creaked loudly at any movement at all. I woke up more than 30 times in one night to everyone's slightest motion in bed.
The kitchenette was old and rusty and while some of the updates (like flooring) were nice, the hotel neglected to update other basics like the rusty TP holder.
- Stephen N (10/5): - Staff courteous and quickly responded. Plenty of space while providing many conveniences. A comfortable well maintained space which was cleaned beyond expectations. Would gladly recommend or use again.
- Elizabeth (6/5): - Property hadn’t been properly updated. Cracks in walls, uneven floors. Older appliances. A/C in bedroom didn’t work at all. Staff was friendly with easy check in and out.
- James (8/5): All good - Nice place I enjoyed it.
- Sarah (2/5): - Many of the rooms are occupied by permanent “guests”. It was loud both nights with yelling and loud arguments and/or partying. The neighbors all smoked, and we could smell the smoking in our room. The fire detector had been disabled in our room with batteries removed.
- Karen (8/5): - We like the idea of having a kitchen area with a full size fridge. A very comfortable bed and the room was clean.
When I booked the room I was quoted one price but was charged a higher price when we checked in with no explanation why it was higher.
- Joseph (8/5): nice place for the cost - worth the cost of the room. If they update it they could get more. no frills, has a full kitchen. internet worked well.
- Fatema (10/5): - Its like a apartment with dinining/tea table . They have set up pot & stove , if anyone wants to cook. Like it
- Ruth (10/5): Just like home! - A place we always frequent when we are in the area. Spacious accommodations… Owners work hard to tend to the many details that each room demands. Appreciate full kitchen…
- Ingrid (10/5): - This place was clean and very comfortable. Do not let the view from the road deter you. I liked that the bedroom is separate from the main area. Full kitchen, nicely stocked with serving ware.
- Karyn (8/5): All Suites Budget Inn - I was very pleased with our stay. The room was clean and had recent updates such as laminate flooring and tile throughout. (Based on memories of stays in prior years) The king bed was incredibly comfortable. Loved having a suite for the same price as most average hotel rooms. I have always found the staff here to be friendly and efficient.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Felt like a mini-apartment. Simple, but just what you need.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Just 0K
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The floors were very dirty. Turned our socks black. After showering and walking to the next room went back to the bathroom and wiped them on a towel. The towel was black. There were bugs in the bed and on the floor. The A/C wouldn't work in the bedroom at night. The television was located in the living room instead of the bed room. It was noisy because of the road.
- Donna (10/5): Home Away fror Home - We have stayed here before, there is some minor things that could be updated. However I have stayed in higher upscale places that were less clean to say the least.
I enjoy the fact we have a small place to call home while we are away. No up and down elevators/ hallway that are smelly and in need of cleaning. Smells clean all the time and the front desk is super helpful and friendly! We will use them again for sure, would rather support a smaller one owned place than the bigger ones.
Thank you and good luck!!
- Tammy (2/5): Skip It - Wow. The floor was sticky and slippery at the same time. It was filthy, my socks were black after just a few minutes.
There were holes all through the curtains and they had chip clips on them to hold them shut
There where many repairs needed, the bathroom was bad, see pictures. The toilet ran off and on all night and then wouldn’t flush right. It overflowed onto the floor. This place is shady, there are people living here, literally. See pictures. People beside me had a dog tie out, there was a bbq grill. The whole place was gross. Skip it.
The internet never worked either
- Lauren (8/5): Great service - Homey feel - The owner was very accommodating and the cleanup crew was friendly and efficient. The AC was very cold and the beds were comfortable.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Gloomy
- Christopher (10/5): Good comfortable stay, nice kitchen, stores nearby - The office area to check in and pay was a bit off-putting due to the plexiglass screening (presumably for Covid reasons). The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, a bit of silverware, and a pizza pan in the oven -- ready to cook and eat with. Toaster in the cuboard, coffee maker on the table.
Plenty of towels, spare TP was in the bathroom. The only thing we found "missing" was any kind of guide book in the room for the place, so I had to go ask for the WiFi password.
Place was right off the highway so it made it a quick jump-off point to get to where we needed to go next and there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby.
Definitely a place I would stay at again in a heartbeat given a choice, and a place I could easily recommend.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I booked for 7 nights but i have to leave the next day the ac never work, so we couldn't sleep...
- Charles (8/5): - Grnerally looked like recent upgrade of bathroom but stove and vent were rusty.
Ok for an overnight.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice clean room - Don't let the "budget" in the name sway you, this place is definitely first class
- Matthew (8/5): Comfy bed and a hot shower at budget price - At this price, I knew what I was getting. This was definitely a no-frills hotel--small room, in need of a few minor repairs, outdated bathroom. But the bed was comfortable, the wi-fi worked, and the shower was hot. Those were the things that really mattered to me, so I was happy enough.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The place was convenient to college a clean. We were on the ground floor( two story). The people above us were up till past 1 am. I heard every conversations every step taken and the TV. The walls were paper thin or at least the ceiling was and on top of that the sheets were worn and had holes in them. The worst part the bed was AWFUL. Well worse than awful. I wish I paid the extra $20 to stay next door.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The building is very dated, but it was extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable.
- Brian (6/5): Disappointed - When I arrived I had a hard time finding the office. There was a plastic cover on the mattress that made it very hot to sleep on. The bedroom A/C didn't work. Don't bring your girlfriend or wife!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was clean, everything was very dated, king bed was too soft and needs new sheets and bedding. A little upgrading would go a long way.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The sidewalk and parking lot was a sheet of ice. I could not walk safely. There was no heat in the check in area. Due to the immediate concern for my safety I left. I made three called to Expedia. I was on hold for over an hour. I want a refund. Expedia should check out this property. It’s nothing as it appears.
- Ing Wan (10/5): - The suite was better than expected. There was a well equipped kitchen and everything was new and updated. It was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend!!!
