- Joey (6/5): Grand hotel in great location. - We were impressed with the hotel when we arrived from the outside. Grand huge reception hall and the rooms were also large. We stayed for 2 nights. The surrounding has lots of eateries and a huge supermarket. Check-in was fast but the WiFi was horrendous. We could not get signal in the room thus had to rely on our own data roaming. Like most hotels in China we had stayed most staff do not have a good command of English and do not understand us when we call for housekeeping assistance. This led to a lot of unhappiness when it seem they understood our request over the phone but after 20 agonizing minutes of no-show we had to call again and nobody seem to know what happened to our request or what we wanted.

- L (8/5): Center of new development area - Friendly and helpful staffs, Lucas of concierge has put extra efforts to escort me (as a solo Sr. Traveler) to get on the night train from Xining to Lhasa , Laura ( a lovely lady) of front desk has surprised me with her language skills of Englis, Spanish and then Chinese. Well enjoyed and appreciated !!
- Verified traveler (10/5): new, excellent and helpful staffs - We 5 people carried a lot of luggage, and missed one piece when checked out. The staffs of the hotel found that it was too late to send to the airport hence they sent one staff to carry the big luggage to Xi'an (our next stop) by train and delivered to us for free. They are unbelievable nice and I highly appreciate their help in my trip. I will strongly recommend the hotel to my friends.

- Verified traveler (8/5): On our way to Lhasa.... - The hotel was very nice with updated rooms. Staff was courteous and pleasant. They would go out of their way to help us. Very few of the staff members could talk in English which was a little inconvenient but they would try to find someone who could communicate with us. The hotel amenities were efficient. Spa was very nice and relaxing with an extensive massage menu. The masseuse was well trained and did a great job with our deep relaxation massage. The area around the hotel had many shops and restaurants but the location of the hotel is far from the city centre and a little inconvenient
- Lee (8/5): High end hotel with extraordinary breakfast buffet - I was comfortable here for three nights. Reception people were competent with English. Many services available, but I utilized only the gym. The gym was well equipped and available 24hours. The only problem I had in my stay was with the poor wifi. It was not possible for me to do any work that depended on access to the internet.
- Aaron (8/5): Nice break in western China - The hotel was nice and the room was HUGE! One of the tree restaurants was closed and one night they had an event in one of the two so only the western one was open. The food at both was OK. Breakfast was great. The only issue we had was at checkout we had two charges on our bill that were not real and we had to jump through hoops to have them removed and the front desk woman was a bit rude about this process. All in all we would suggest staying here.

- Amanda (10/5): Best hotel in Xining - I stayed here for a weekend conference and it was a great experience. The room was nice, spacious, and clean. The beds were comfortable. The only downfall in the room we stayed in is that the bathroom has a window into the bedroom area and it's not very private if you are staying with a colleague or a friend. The shower and toilet are behind well-tinted doors, but the bathtub and sink area is not. There is a shade that you can bring down but it doesn't really do anything. The staff is very helpful and most speak English. The restaurant is wonderful and has lots of options.

- Cristina (10/5): Respite from city life. - Huge hotel with big room and great bed. Next to grocery store and shopping mall. Extremely clean. I enjoyed massage which was worthwhile splurge. Breakfast buffet looked great but cost $25 pp so did not try. We could not get access to work but otherwise a great place.
