La atencion en la recepcion, muy buena, La ducha tiene el piso muy resbaladizo, peligroso, tenia que cuidar mucho para no caerme.Deberia ser un piso de piedra absorbente. El estante para las toallas esta muy alto!! una persona mediana le cuesta agarrarla. La pileta es, proporcionalmente muy grande, dejando muy poco espacio , en los laterales, para poner mis cosas personales.

• Rastislav (10/5): Excellent service and location - Excellent location right next to Metekhi Church and Vakhtang Gorgasali’s monument, with the Old City and a large shopping mall (Gallery) nearby. Generally, everything is walking distance away from the hotel; otherwise, the bus stop is right next to the building. The staff are friendly, professional, and speak good English. The rooms are clean, very spacious, and offer great value for their rating - more than you’d expect compared to similar hotels in Europe. It’s also wonderfully quiet in the evenings. We never had to request anything, as amenities were consistently replenished in advance, including daily water replacement. There is also a small fridge. Last but not least, the steakhouse on the ground floor serves excellent food beyond just steaks. I recommend booking with breakfast, which is served there - it’s very diverse! To conclude with, we’d like to thank the staff for the good time we spent there! N/a

Management did not deal adequately with the matter. TV did not work and no support over weekend. Management did not seem to care about patronising comfort. No prompt action to sort things out. They just offer apologies after you leave.

• Maria (7/5): - We enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was friendly. One of the rooms had a great view of the fortress Narikala I chose this hotel because it has a spa area. However, the hammam in the women's section is completely out of order, and the sauna takes hours to heat up. When we arrived at the sauna 20 minutes after we asked to turn it on, it was simply too cold to be in our swimsuits. Our rooms were on the sixth floor next to the rooftop bar where smoking is permitted, and the rooftop also smelled of cigarettes.

The parking is very small and inconvenient. I expected more from Mercury, as I often stay at this chain in Germany, Singapore, and France. The hotel doesn't deserve a 4-star rating; it doesn't even reach the level of a 3-star Ibis. The location is also poor; you won't find any good restaurants with traditional Georgian cuisine nearby.

• edena519 (10/5): My son's birthday - I booked the hotel with George, he had a lot of patience because there were changes before we arrived..and when we arrived it was just wow..my son had a birthday and they prepared a surprise for him in the room that I was surprised too. Even for a very low price he took care of me. The level of service is simply 100 out of 10..a large and clean room, well-thought-out and good breakfasts. Really makes me want to come back here again and again. Many thanks to the staff too.

There were a lot of local breakfast restaurants around, maybe 5-10 min walk. For comparison: (The dinner price was about $15-20 with a glass of wine. ) The staff was wonderful. Helped a lot with making the local calls etc. The hotel rate per night was disproportionate to the local prices in Tbilisi; one night’s stay equaled the average monthly salary of an ordinary resident.

• alaaallaithy (10/5): Outstanding location, comfort, and exceptional staff - Mercure Tbilisi Old Town offers an amazing location, just a few steps away from the Old Town and within walking distance of many of Tbilisi’s top attractions, including the cable car, Narikala Fortress, and more. The hotel is also only 15 minutes’ walk from Freedom Square, making it a perfect base for exploring the city on foot. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-isolated, ensuring a quiet and relaxing stay. Breakfast was good and well organized, with all the basic items needed, and a special mention goes to the delicious cheese roll, which was absolutely amazing ❤️. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Dachi, Levan, and Valentina, who went above and beyond by helping us connect our mobile phone to the screen so we could watch our national team football match. It turned into a truly memorable and unforgettable night for all of us. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay there again.

• Gulee (8/5): I would definitely recommend for those who want close proximity to everything! - Overall experience was superb! Front Office team were very polite and accommodating. Mr Dachi was excellent and prompt in helping me out find my way. Only thing there is no pool facility in this hotel, but considering the Old Town area that is understandable. Asado steakhouse is great, enjoyed nice steaks and complimentary desserts from the staff on the New year's day. No pool and standard room wall is not noise blocking, could hear neighboring room noise. But for me that is not an issue, stay was very satisfying.

Spa facilities were lovely and complimentary. Staff was very friendly. Upon check in staff informed me about a scheduled fire drill that afternoon. An information leaflet was left in the room as well. Great to see that staff is being continuously trained in emergency procedures! On site restaurants were great for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was slightly underwhelming.

Great service and the overall atmosphere is very pleasant and welcoming. A special mention to the receptionists Esmira and Liza. They were exceptionally professional, attentive and kind. They handled everything smoothly and made us feel truly cared for. Both the hotel and receptionists service deserve recognition.
