Guest Reviews
- Anzyl (10/5): - Nice place
- Ferrald (10/5): - Prima verblijf
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Unfortunately our booking wasn't received because their internet was down. The lady was very apologetic and thankfully arranged us a room next door, although not similar to the one we had booked.
They offered us free breakfast to compensate and were very friendly.
- Ryan (6/5): Not worth it. - Stayed here for 3 nights. Bathroom door was broken, literally off the hinges, so that didn't shut which is obnoxious when you have guests. Why they put me in the room or didn't fix it beforehand baffles me. Bed was hard, low lighting in the room, A/C worked but wasn't very good. I didn't mind I was on the top floor, but yea, no elevator if you have lots of luggage and there are many stairs. Wi-fi worked well enough for my online work. Workers apologized as I checked out about the door, but overall, I wouldn't stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Run by locals, cheap, no nonsense. A great place to stay in PP
- Verified traveler (6/5): - バルコニーがない部屋を予約したら窓がない階段横の部屋でした。1階のレストランはリーズナブルでカンボジア料理を食べれます果物の盛り合わせも美味しいです。周辺は飲食店が多いので深夜1時頃まで騒がしいです。
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Everything was good except.... the noise. Bring some earplugs or noise canceling headphones. The noise from traffic and people in the streets is quite loud. There is also a 5 story bar complex in the adjoining building that blasts music from 4p until late.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Owner went all the way to make happy Good cheap food. Good location
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good place to stay for budget travellers - Great location close to the river and attractions. Extremely friendly and welcoming owner who is very interesting to talk to. Great breakfasts and delicious coffee. Rooms were comfortable but looked like a few places were missed when cleaning (eg. walls, ceilings, windows).
- Rob (6/5): Close to Riverwalk - This family run guest house / hotel is quite and in central location. Rooms are simple. Although I never made complaint as out most of the time, there seemed to be little cleaning done, the toilet seat was broken, and the TV was old with poor picture quality. There was however air conditioning, hot water with good pressure, and the room was comfortable enough. There are a couple of nice river view bars 20 meters away with happy hour 4:00-7:30.
- Nezir (8/5): I was forwarded to another hotel,it was ok - As some people mentioned before I also was transferred to another hotel around the corner on river side. Must admit that hotel was okay, clean, good view from 3 floor restaurant, service stuff are pretty ok, only problem I had was with internet. I was on 3th floor and neither options I had 3 was not working, so if you really need internet this is not place for you. I think place called Tonla Khmer restaurant and guesthouse.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not recommended - I was booked my room with full board but they said that I have room only. Also they did not give me daily bottled water as promised in your website. Girls at the reception did not speak english at all.
- Daniel (8/5): Hotel direkt an der Riverside - Kleines sauberes Zimmer. Diverse Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar. Freundliches Personal das steht's bei Fragen weiterhilft.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not Good - Staff here were friend and helpful. Unfortunately I arrived to a different room than I had booked - a twin with 2 single beds. I'm very tall so I book double rooms for a reason. Nothing else was available so I was offered free breakfast and a room move when one was available in 3 days. Fair enough I guess. Sadly the room was pretty awful. Sheets seeemed dirty and were definitely threadbare with holes. Power points didn't work and were pulled out of the walls. Air conditioning worked somewhat but was held together with masking tape. Plus he room was on the top floor. I'm generally OK with no lifts at this price, but the last set of stairs was pretty much a metal ladder. The cleaners clearly don't venture up there unless they have to as there was a large cockroach on the stairs for 2 days. The door handle was partly broken and the door didn't fit in the door frame properly making the room very difficult to lock, and the sink drain was a loose open-ended pipe into the shower/bathroom drain. I moved asap to a local backpackers which was the same price but actually bearable.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Didn't stay. Booking problem - Although when we got there they were fully booked despite our prepaid room, the son was very quick to get us into a friend's hotel around the corner. Given average review but didn't see a room.
*a note aside, if you're planning on travelling from here to Siem Riep by ferry it's cheaper to go with an agent than book direct at the dock and don't pay for a $5 tuk tuk at other end as it's a scam and they refuse to take you to hotel unless you book a tour around angkor Wat for a ridiculous price or give them more money if not!!
- Joseph (10/5): Exactly what we wanted - Very nice hotel, in the centre of town. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed. The shower had plenty of hot water and the toilet flushed. All excellent for the price.
Phnom Penh is a busy, noisy town so it was not quiet at night but for us, that was not a problem.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location - Second stay and will come back again. The owner is lovely.
- Sharyn (10/5): - Owner spoke wonderful English. She booked us in her guesthouse next door called the precious guesthouse. Room was modern and very clean has an elevator as well. Breakfast wasn't included but was cheaper than most places around. Close to walkway along the river and tonnes of good restaurants and bars. Highly recommended.
- Jae Hwan (8/5): 가격대비 만족 - 발코니 추천노 굉장히 소음이심함
- alan (6/5): Good value - Building work is going on next door so its a bit noisy in the day. The room is comfortable but tired. The balcony is large but cluttered. Staff and food are great. Can't knock it for the price
