• Tay (10/5): - Beautiful beach view from the rooftop deck. Please remember that this place opened in 1890. It is pretty nice but not as modern as recent builds. It is a beautiful retro hotel. No elevator and steep steps to rooms. Pool and location across from beach are perfect for families and nostalgia seekers like me.

Walk in room smelt very moldy carpets were nasty again thick dust on fan, exhaust in bathroom and nasty air vent over stove, bed was just a little bit bigger than a twin sloped downward first night was hell. Couldn’t do this for 2 more nights manager was nice enough to reimburse us 2 nights back!!! Thank goodness I felt nasty staying there!!! Also parking was one block away was barely big enough for our truck and get out sideways without running out vehicle or anyone else’s!!!

Bad part: I wish they would put something on the site that says do not book if you have handicap issues because we don’t have an elevator and the stairs are steep! I had a hard time going to the third floor with my mother. I also didn’t realize it wasn’t handicap accessible with no elevator! (My bad) Also, the bed was really uncomfortable. The white pillows were yellow, and the bathroom shower was dirty. Other than that, was fine. :)

• STEVEN (8/5): - Great Location, fast check in with motel at G street, the parking was in small lot numbered space on I street 5min walk. Pull up on motel side (G street) put flashers on check in get parking display pass, unload then park. Great for ballroom concert. Cleanliness was acceptable, it’s an old shore house nothing to complain or Brag about so it works. Carpet should be cleaned.

• Samantha (10/5): - Second time with Pelham; great overall. I never saw any suspicious molds or water damage, and the floors were always clean on arrival. Less of a complaint and more a thing of note: the stairs to the upper levels were narrow, making it a little hard for my older mother, and in our room, the floor wasn’t completely level. Solved by just talking her steps slowly.

Parking is a little inconvenient as it is a block or two away from the hotel, but everything else makes up for it. As far as hotel breakfast there is not much at all. I definitely recommend going to McGuirks

• Terri (8/5): - Perfect location, staff were all very friendly, beds were comfy, great light from the windows, room was clean. The bathroom could use a little work. Slow draining sink and the very low toilet was a little wobbly. The room was NOT soundproof. The loud kids enjoying the pool sounded as if our windows were wide opened. Breakfast was ok although maybe some fresh fruit would be a nice healthy option to round out the donuts and muffins.

Parking is two blocks away but easy enough to get to and from after you’ve unloaded in front of the hotel. Would definitely stay again for either a beach day or local event.

The room was cramped. The carpet was brown and dirty. There was a mold smell. There ceiling had leaking spots everywhere. The bathroom door was not closing. Our toilet was not flushing well. The shower curtain was ripped and the shower was old with mold issues… The reviews are good and i don’t know why. Maybe there is a part of the motel that is renovated. Not the Old one.

• Nancy (10/5): - Location is close to an entrance to the beach. For families with young kids ther is a large free play area provided by the park. Breakfast is free at the hotel.
• Gwendolyn c (10/5): - We stayed in the full apartment with private balcony, very comfortable and clean, this is the closest Inn to the Casino Ballroom where we saw a concert just a few doors down the street. Parking is very limited in this area, and the Pelham did not charge extra for it. Hampton Beach is an older area, but lots of fun and the Casino Ballroom is full of history. Led Zeppelin played there in 1969, Louis Armstrong in 1941, Duke Ellington in 1936! Super cool place to say you've been! If we go back, it will be to the same room at the Pelham!

• Darlene (4/5): Disappointed - Very disappointed with our choice of hotel. Upon check in, we were told that we could unload out in front of the hotel but, then would have to park in the hotel parking lot that was basically 3 blocks away behind a “yellow house with a Pelham sign”. The room was a disappointment also. From the tiny tv that wouldn’t stay upright (broken bracket?) to the very dirty shower curtain to the grossly dusty ceiling fan to the uncomfortable very squeaky bed; the room gave off an unpleasant feeling. These things, plus the fact that HB had already basically shut down for the season; caused us to cut our losses and leave after 1 night.

No shampoo in the shower stall and none at the front desk! Bring your own! 2. Noisy neighbors in the lodge next door that I could hear through the wee hours. 3. The smallest TV set I had ever seen at any resort, with a 26” screen! 4. No screen on one of the windows, so it couldn’t be opened. 5. Shower curtain installed too high up so water got all over the floor from the gap below.

There were plenty of food options right in the area. The beach is right across the street. Even though it was the last day of the season we still walked the beach which is big and clean. The hotel is quiet and the pool was heated and open until 9pm.

I tried calling & of course no one answered. My husband tried going there too. So I start opening the cabinets looking to see if perhaps i could find a towel. All I do find is moldy food! Gross! I told the front desk in the morning & the women had housekeeping clean the room once we left for the day. And she brought us some trowels. I was upset and got no room discount(but I never asked--I don't feel like I should have had to.)I would NOT recommend.

• Jim (6/5): A GLIMPSE OF THE WATER - The view of the water from the room for a $100 premium is beyond the parking lot, garbage and road. If you are going on Sunday during season most restaurants are closed by 9 pm.

• PeterS (10/5): - Super place with phenomenal location. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating and very attentive to all your needs. The room and the entire facility were very clean. I give this place five stars hands-down. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it. Not a lot of echo friendly amenities, but that’s not why we went there. Silly thing for Expedia to include. The only thing I thought was subpar was the breakfast. Poor selection of store-bought donuts and coffee.

May seem like a negative, but its not. You are right across from the beach, great restaurant next door as well as street food every where. Perfect location for walking the strip. Continental breakfast in the morning (try the blueberry doughnuts). Check out is easy as well. There is a 10 deposit for parking, but it is returned when you hand in your parking pass. Will definitely be staying again for our next trip.

• Karen (8/5): Girls Weekend perfect - We loved our stay at the Pelham Resort Hotel. Our room was nice. The location was amazing looking out at the Ocean from the roof top. The owners were very nice. When we go back to Hampton Beach we will stay here again. Perfect location to park your car and walk to the beach.

• judson (10/5): Perfect little getaway - Great experience with this hotel. Room was clean and perfect for what we needed right on the strip with a late enough check out to shower after the race. Breakfast was served early with hot coffee ready.
