• Borja (4/5): Cómodo pero muy mal - La chica muy maja y la ubicación en plena carretera El agua tanto de la ducha como del grifo apestaba a azufre muy fuerte, no entrábamos por el pasillo de al lado de la cama de lo estrecho que era, el baño era literalmente de 1 metro cuadrado, podías estar meando mientras te duchabas y el restaurante muy caro
• Melva (7/5): A place to sleep after a long days driving. - There was a lovely seating area dedicated to a much loved Grandmother. No breakfast available although there was a restaurant on site. Room was too small for 2 people with luggage. The receptionist was not pleased that we only arrived a short time before closing.

• Hernandez (9/5): Very nice room, lounge, food and professional and friendly staff. - Great location, awesome view, parking, great food! The staff is super friendly and professional. Coffee and tea is available to the guests for free. The have an amazing cozy lounge with a great history behind it.

• Francois (9/5): A good place to stay for a night when on a roadtrip, or more as there are things to do in the area! - Located in the "middle of nowhere", it is a haven for the people who travel from Reykjavik to Akureiri. We were on a road trip on a snowy and freezing day, and we were so happy, arriving at night, to find light, warmth and a very friendly welcome from the staff. The restaurant waited for us to arrive and even if it was quite late, prepared a good and warm dinner. We could have a very relaxing night here and were ready to continue our drive after a good night's sleep.

• Bruno (9/5): - Staff muito simpático. Restaurante bom, sossegado. Agua quente com cheiro a enxofre. É normal nesta zona, mas pode incomodar algumas pessoas mais sensíveis. O movimento de camiões pode incomodar, mas às 21h fica tudo calmo. Pequeno almoço fraco (mas com um toque de simpatia).

• Danai (9/5): Really good choice! With a good restaurant! - The location is great if you are driving around Iceland. The room was nice, the private bathroom is a little bit small but has always hot water. We also had access to a living room with a small kitchenette. There is also a restaurant with good food options in the ground floor. The guesthouse is on the road 1 but has no village nearby, so there is darkness in the area, ideal for the northern lights. We actually were lucky enough to spot them. The staff is helpful and friendly. Parking is provided. - Right outside from our room were some lights on , that were blocking the northern lights view. It would be better of they could be switched off at night. - The room had only one electrician socket, and that was opposite the bed. It would be good if there were two sockets near the bed

• Peter (7/5): We approached it as just a 'truck stop' on the way around Iceland, but it was ... nice. - Very helpful staff. We were a bit worried being right next to Route 1, but honestly the noise at night was not an issue coz there was none. Also very close to some epic waterfalls.

• Tanya (6/5): - I am glad that they had a sitting area outside of the rooms with coffee and tea. The staff were polite and helpful. Room was clean. Rooms are tiny! If you have a shower you need to squeegee the floor after so that the water is not all over the floor. Very, very basic room. Tiny beds.

• Francisco José (9/5): Buen sitio para hacer noche en ruta - Las camas cómodas y la habitación es más bonita que en las fotos. Buen desayuno buffet. No pudimos probar la cena porque llegamos después de las 9. Muy bien la gente de recepción en el check in y el desayuno. Se agradece la pequeña zona común con sofá, frigo y agua caliente, café y te. No vimos problema con el olor del agua que he visto en otros comentarios, es suave y pasa en más alojamientos, incluso en Reikiavik. Es el sistema de agua caliente del país.

• YUKIO (9/5): - 親切 。手術後で重い荷物を持つことができず、スーツケースを二階まで自力で上げられないとお話したら、男性スタッフが上げてくれた。翌朝は若い女性スタッフしかいないため困っていたらその女性が運んでくれた。感謝しかない。もともと「エレベーターがある」を条件にして探したのに何故ヒットしたのか分からないが宿に責任はなく大変助けられた。親切で感じの良い人たちばかりだった。 特にはないがもう少し広いといいかな。

• Tina (8/5): Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen im Restaurant zum richtigen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. - Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut und das Abendessen im dazugehörigen Restaurant war sehr lecker. Das Bad war sehr klein und die Dusche war nur mit einem Vorhang abgetrennt. Dadurch war der ganze Boden des Badezimmers nach dem Duschen nass. Jedoch wurde ein Schaber zum Reinigen des Bodens im Zimmer selbst zur Verfügung gestellt.

El problema era que el suelo de la ducha no estaba compartimentado, todo el baño se convirtió en una piscina ya que además de esto el desagüe no traga el agua... Un verdadero horror. La habitación muy pequeña y muy poco iluminada.

The room was two small, I had the beds together for my husband and I. The staff did not say much to us, and they didn't say anything when we checked out

• Laura M (7/5): Bien - Sencillo. Hay una pequeña zona común con agua caliente para tomar un té o un café instantáneo; también tienes una nevera común para dejar lo que necesites. El desayuno es bastante sencillo, pero suficiente, está bien. Es un bar/hostal de carretera, no hay nada en los alrededores; la idea es una pausa para viajes largos por el país.

• Monika (6/5): Für eine Nacht ok. - Die Teeküche war praktisch, der Aufenthalt relativ günstig. Das Zimmer ist hellhörig und direkt daneben die Hauptstraße. Es hat bei den Fenstern kalt reingezogen. Beim Schlafen war es sehr kalt - mein Freund hatte sogar die Haube in der Nacht auf. Für eine Nacht ok.
• Bernhard (8/5): Gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit im Nordwesten - Zimmer war dem Preis entsprechend sehr gut. Alles notwendige vorhanden. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Freundliches Personal. Ideal für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp. Gemeinschaftsraum mit großem Kühlschrank und Teeküche. Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. E-Ladesäulen und Tankstelle direkt nebenan. Abends war ein lautes Brummen zu hören, was dann nachts aber weg war. Ring Road direkt daneben hört man, nachts fährt aber praktisch nichts, hat nicht gestört. Es sollte einem bewusst sein, dass die Zimmer auf das Notwendigste reduziert sind, z.B. gibt es keine Nachtkästchen, eher kleines Bett, Dusche nur durch Vorhang vom Rest des Bads abgetrennt.

La habitación era agradable, aunque había algo de ruido y vibraciones debido a los extractores de la cocina; por suerte, se apagaban por la noche, así que pudimos dormir sin problemas. El desayuno fue un poco escaso, pero suficiente para empezar el día. En general, un alojamiento recomendable por comodidad y ubicación.
