Dennis Yu (6/5): Just ok - Good value. AC never worked even after we called and they said they would fix it. Hot dishes at breakfast were too oily.
Roy (7/5): A nice stay. - The rooms were a good size. It’s a short walk to a shopping centre that had a lot of food options and a great head spa. Japanese restaurants was very nice, but a bit expensive and was empty every night, so not sure why it was so quiet when we were there, but didn’t have much atmosphere, but was a very nice space. Try the Big Mac Burger at the main restaurant - you can share it, it’s huge! The breakfast was ok Even though the bed was so comfortable, the air conditioning unit was stuck on 24, it felt like a sauna and I asked them twice to come and look at it and they told me that it would get cooler but it did not, so we are had a few uncomfortable nights sleeping as we were so hot. It had a nice bar downstairs but it was never open.

In camera geamul era murdar si nu se puteau face poze prin el. In interior in drept cu cade de baie (altfel extraordinar amplasată la geam) era un strat mare de praf care n-a mai fost curățat de foarte mult timp. In cabina de dus geamul pătat de calcar si mucegai pe la colțuri mult mucegai.

Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy the swimming pool and gym mainly due to lack of time. I definitely recommend. Not so much to report here apart the fact that WiFi connection was really slow. It was difficult for me to work as usual from the hotel.

I changed my room due to cigarette smoking odor getting into my sleep/bed, but then the next day? another cigarette odor. Hotel need to WARN customers about "NON_SMOKING".

I booked a room with breakfast but the reception said it is a promotional price and therefore no breakfast included. I had to retrieve my booking confirmation stating the inclusion of breakfast. She didn't even bother to check and straight away said no breakfast.

The bathroom is a little small but functional and has all accessories, I found the bathtub inconveniently placed and could not ask the help desk for bath salts as they did not understand my request. Breakfast was good
Verified traveler (4/5): Hot room, poor service - Room was heated to a toasty 28 deg with no means of cooling it. When I called the front desk to get help, they can’t speak English, and took 2 hours to give me a fan that cannot work. Can’t get out of there fast enough

Verified traveler (4/5): Great hotel with poor service - Great hotel, but my room was around 26 to 28 degrees and the hotel staff were not helpful to cool down my room. They gave me a fan which just blew hot air around. Thankfully I only stayed 2 nights, any longer and I would have had to leave regardless. The hotel itself is very very nice. Shame the service is lacking.

Sheraton is an international brand and that is why English should be spoken and used everywhere in the hotel

fullerr2017 (8/5): Very good ( for a category 1) - For a category 1 property, the rooms, breakfast, and lounge are very good. I enjoyed a club suite, which was good size, with a few upgrades like remote controlled curtains, and multiple bathrooms. The highlight of the trip was the staff in the lounge the last night , seeing that I arrived as they were taking away the food and drinks, immediately went back to where the food was taken and made me a plate of food and got me a G and T and a glass of red wine. That in my book was the right thing to do. So, if you are planning to stay here... I think you will see that it meets your needs and likely we impress in a few ways, considering their category 1 level.

Very long list of issues...but to mention just a few : (1) we booked a room on Booking.com which was clearly for 3 people (2 adults, 1 kid). Yet when we checked in we were told that room was for 2 people as they did not have extra beds available at that moment. They also tried to blame Booking.com for this which was pathetic. We ended up a whole staying trying to manage to sleep on one bed (which thankfully was not small) (2) generally unstable wifi (3) extremely slow elevators. With extremely slow I mean sometimes waiting for 10 minutes for the elevator to arrive (4) very slow service at the restaurants. We had dinner a number of times at the Chinese restaurant, and service was very slow even though the restaurant was not busy. We were told that the hotel had only three chefs at that moment. (5) dated facilities and clearly the hotel needs a very good refurbishment Etc. etc. I would not really recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area. I don’t think it would be very difficult to some something of a better standard than this.
JeremyAzzopardi2007 (6/5): Decent Rooms, Poor Service, Murky Booking Details - We stayed here for six nights as part of a school event. The rooms are relatively spacious, but quite old. A renovation is needed. The buffet is only served on weekends (although limited A La Carte is also available) and the breakfast buffet is average quality. There are also Chinese and Japanese restaurants in the hotel. However, food takes forever to arrive at every one of them, including room service. We decided to go to the A La Carte restaurant one night, since it was empty. Upon entering we were told that the food would take 45 minutes. It took longer than an hour for below average food, which was pricey. Next night we decided to go the Chinese restaurant and staff also said the food would take at least 30 minutes. We asked why this was always the case and they said “we only have 3 chefs in this hotel”. Considering the hotel has 25 floors, this was a shock to us and it showed a fundamental problem with the service. There is also a major issue with booking. We are a family of 3 and so asked for a queen bed and an extra bed. When we checked in, the staff reconfirmed this. We entered our room and only found 1 queen bed. Upon calling reception, we were told that the room was for 2 people and that they have no available extra beds. They also said that since we booked through Booking.com, it was their issue and not the hotel’s. This really showed a complete lack of empathy by the hotel management on an issue that they are responsible to resolve with Booking.com. This hotel is very far from the city center and is not an ideal place to stay, if you are a tourist. There is a Starbucks within the hotel which is very convenient. There is also a nearby mall (walking distance) which has many restaurants that are far better than the hotel’s. Overall, I strongly do not recommend staying at this hotel, unless you are in Shanghai for a specific event nearby.
faeriehazel (8/5): Decent choice if you're in the area - We stayed here for a school event, which is really the only reason you'd be staying so far from the city center. The closest metro is North Jiading and it is super busy in the mornings - location wise, this hotel is not a good choice unless you have a specific reason to be in the area. There is a shopping mall with reasonable dining options within walking distance and a few others a short taxi ride away. The hotel itself is fine - clean and comfortable with a heated swimming pool that's great for kids. Though lots of locals have their kids taking swimming lessons here, so if you're looking for a relaxing swim this is not the place. The food is typical of hotel food in China. We had the buffet breakfast and the quality of the bacon and sliced bread was pretty poor. They do offer fruit and cereal and coffee, so you won't starve. My husband had the buffet dinner one evening (as part of the school event) and said it was mediocre at best. All in all, it was a reasonably pleasant stay if you don't count the food.
wlee13 (10/5): Nice room with clean bed and bath - the location is good if you have business in Jiading area. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast buffet in the morning also good. If you are interested to look The Bund, it will take nearly one hour driving.
chin792015 (8/5): Comfortable stay - I attended a conference at the Sheraton Jiading over the week end and stayed 2 nights. Check in was fast. I was given an extra king size on the 25th floor. It was spacious with a good view of the neighbouring mall and the park. Breakfast was average but the coffee was good! The conference facilities was good as was lunch and dinner that came with it. The bed was comfortable enough though I prefer a firmer mattress. Conceige was very helpful with organising a day outing to Jiading attractions. Overall a productive and comfortable weekend.

Luodan8 (10/5): Business Hotel but interesting for a week end - I got lucky to be upgraded to the 22th floor with a superb view on the river... very large room which was designed in a smart way. Nice staff in general and also very good Chinese restaurant on the second floor. did not try the swimming pool but maybe worth a visit next time ! Location is quite Ok as you can walk also from the hotel to the old city and visit Confucius Temple and different interesting Chinese places. Many small restaurants in this area. Metro station 15 minutes by walk (jiading bei) PArking easy.

terol434 (6/5): Getting worse fast - Visited factory in jiading for 2 weeks. this was my third stay in this hotel and hotel was very good before but standard is getting lower now days. Morning there was shuttle bus service to factories which was nice extra. Before rooms has been very clean but not this time. All the corners were dirty and I did wash shower floor first day before going in because it look like not washed in long time. Breakfast was pretty good better if you go early. If you sleep late and go after 9 there will be shortage in many dishes and some of the food has been staying under heat lamp way too long. Also tables will be missing clean utensils. Staff was little rude or maybe lacking English skills and it just felt like rude. Closest restaurants are about 1 km away but for me this was ok for evening walk after work. After walk find quite many different options no high end dining but good low mid range options.
KH_NG_ALAN (10/5): Business meeting - Hotel booked by principal and extremely good and quiet place for me. Not a convenience location if you are looking for public transport but to me is good as after long day meeting. The room is perfect and nice view and the surrounding hotel is river and windy... I love it so much and will return here for next business meeting.
josundq (10/5): Great Hotel in Jiading - Just an awesome hotel, great rooms with excellent state of the art tv's and huge free movie range, fantastic japanese restaurant on level 5, try the all you can eat buffet. The SAuna and gymnasium are very nice and clean. Very large indoor swimming pool as well. Staff perfect in every way

This is the hotel for you! - I must admit, I don't think I've ever been as impressed with a hotel's level of service than I was when I visited the Sheraton in Jiading. Travelling to China with a nut allergy was not easy, however after contacting the hotel ahead of time I was immediately put at ease by the hotel's very attentive catering staff. They really could not do enough for me, they arranged to cook me nut-free meals whenever I was hungry, assured me of the processes they had taken to keep me safe and kept in contact with me to ensure there was nothing further I required. Make no mistake, I travel quite a bit for work - the service this hotel supplied was truly world class and I cannot thank them enough for their efforts. I’d like to send a MASSIVE thank you to Julian, Maggie, Carrie and of course not forgetting the Kitchen Hero - Chef Calvin Hou. Their assistance during my stay was quite simply, fantastic. They really could not have done any more to put my worries at ease and help me manage my allergy during my time in China. If you are travelling to China, and in particular have any allergies or intolerance's I would urge you to stay in this hotel, I won't be staying anywhere else!

The bed and teh cushions are fantastic. The breakfast was great. Even a lonely diner was well prepared. Unfortunately the bar was deserted in teh evening.

Maureen (10/5): Beautiful Hotel - Arriving in Shanghai, Jiading after a long day of meetings exhausted and ready to sleep, this hotel was welcoming and beautiful. The front desk check in was quick and easy. The views from my room of Jiading and the walking area near this hotel is beautiful. A Confucian temple near by that I wish we'd had time to explore. Would definitely return to this hotel.

However, they didnt activate free wifi for me which should be included in the room i booked until i made a call to front desk. after i got in to the room, one person knocked the door and deliver fruits that didnt seem to be fresh as attached pic. Later, another person knocked the door and asked if i need ice which i didnt ask for. Next day, before checkout time, one person knocked the door and said she needed to check refrige. What is it about???? dont understand why they bothered a customer oftenly.

Tony (8/5): Excellent hotel all by its self. - The hotel is new and very nice. The only downside is that it is really all by its self. There isn't much around the hotel. Even the closest convenience store is more than 15 minutes walk away. Doing anything requires a taxi ride. The dinner buffet could use more options as well.
