Rich (6/5): - Hotel room was super; it was very big. We went for breakfast with almost two hours left, and all the bacon was gone and none was coming out. I commented to the staff. Other diners told me that this is what they do; they put out limited bacon as a way to cheap out. Sausage links were good. Potatoes were dry and eggs were disgusting; the eggs were a pile of fried eggs. I definitely felt whipped off.

Front desk could be a bit more positive - was no 'how was your stay' - also they could have easily given an upgrade of some sort but choose not to. Had to switch rooms as one part of 3 day booking was for a different type room. Would be different if it was busy but clearly wasnt.

Lynn (8/5): Clean and comfortable - Our stay was very comfortable. At first we were a little concerned with the homeless man by the front door but he seemed harmless. The location is on the edge of town in an industrial area but is was reasonably quiet. Check-in was a breeze and our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. All the ice machines were broken but the front desk was able to get us ice. Most everyone seemed to rise between 5-6am even though it was a Saturday but we were able to fall back asleep. Breakfast was a little disappointing with overcooked sausage and hard, dry potato rounds but everything else was good, especially the cheesy scrambled eggs which were perfect. We would stay at another Western Star again.

Johanna (8/5): - The room itself was very nice and the staff friendly. But the area around it is the worst I've ever seen so I would not stay again. (I had a dog with me and there was nowhere to walk her, it was all mud and lumberyards and warehouses in the immediate area and the weather amazingly bad, pouring freezing rain and very strong winds in late May! Her favorite thing is also looking out the window and here our view was a fence with a mud field on the other side). The hotel is about 1.5km from the main small town, so in reasonable weather it's at least an easy walk or drive, I imagine it's a good choice for those just looking for a comfortable place to sleep.

I love there suites cause it is literally lile being at home with a normal sized refrigerator and a hot plate for cooking your own meals.. I love their kitchen islands.. Definitely recommended for anyone who enjoys a comfortable high class stay that doesnt break ur bank account.
