• Anton (9/5): Super leuk hotel. - Het is een geweldige locatie, heel gezellig buiten terras. Geen uitzicht, maar de kamers zijn top. En met de tuktuk 5 minuten naar het centrum. Ongeveer 700 roepies. Het ontbijt is heerlijk, meer dan genoeg. Alleen dat je niet kan wandelen naar het centrum, super drukke weg. Maar tuktuks genoeg.
• Dani (9/5): Würde wieder hierher kommen - Das Settle Inn liegt etwas ausserhalb des nervösen Zentrums. Zu Fuss ist man am See entlang in ca. 10min beim Zahntempel. Das Zimmer war sehr gross und bot alles, was ich brauchte. Das Frühstück war sensationell und der Besitzer war immer für einen Schwatz zu haben. Da das Zimmer keine richtigen Fenster hatte, hörte man bis spät abends und ab den frühen Morgenstunden den Verkehr von der Strasse vor dem Haus. Da kann die Unterkunft allerdings wenig dafür.
• Elisa (9/5): Optimale Übernachtung - Es gab ein Begrüßungsgetränk und das Zimmer war sauber mit Handtüchern und Shampoo. Kühlschrank, Fernseher, Klimaanlage und Ventilator waren vorhanden. Die Lage war super. Nur 10 Minuten Fußweg zum Zahntempel und zur Kandyshow. Personal war nett und hilfsbereit. Leckeres Frühstück. -

• Richard (10/5): Perfect spot away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy, but a short walk away. - Best shower in Sri Lanka, ideally situated to wander into town, but away from the main hustle and bustle. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. Good value for money. We only spent 1 night, but you could use this as a location to explore the surrounding area. Il y avait des animaux dans le toit (rats ?), ce qui nous a bien dérangé. Il n’y a pas de volets ni même de rideau occultant, vous serez donc réveillés tot ! Le service de lessive est très cher 1000 roupies par kilos.

• Guillermo (10/5): Gracias por cuidarnos y sentirnos seguros - Está muy bien situado cerca de Lago y del centro, cerca hay uno de los pocos lugares donde ponen dj y puedes tomar algo por la noche, el dueño es muy bueno y está muy preparado. Estuve allí mientras pasó el ciclon en sri Lanka Diciembre 2025 él resolvió muy bien la situación y todo fue más fácil. Todo estaba bien, por la noche cuando volvías si era tarde tenías que llamar para que te abriera pero es algo normal, la vida nocturna en Kandy no es lo principal

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a room safe, aircon, included breakfast and plenty of power plugs. Within walking distance of The Temple Of The Tooth or 5-10 minute tuk tuk to the city. Hidden charges including a city tax, ceiling fan was noisy, bathroom light flickered constantly, TV had no signal, no hot water, coffee with breakfast was instant coffee and the worst Sri Lankan coffee I have tasted in the two weeks I have been in Sri Lanka.

• Others (10/5): A Truly Wonderful Stay at Settle In Tourist Lodge! ⭐ - Settle In Tourist Lodge absolutely exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable — the perfect place to unwind. The breakfast was filling, delicious, and prepared with so much care, easily one of the best I’ve had during my travels. What stood out the most was the warm hospitality. The staff were extremely kind and even allowed me to check in super early since my room was ready — a gesture that made my long journey so much easier. • Burks (9/5): Solo Night in Kandy - Very cheap and reasonable price for the room, amenities, location, etc. The room was a little small but nothing too awful, for the price it's very reasonable however. The mattress was also very hard, which some people may like but I did not.

• Yvonne (7/5): Alojamiento práctico para una noche - El trato del personal fue muy bueno. Nos alojamos para una noche y la localización estaba bien. La limpieza era justa, encontramos cacas de ratones en la ducha. Había muchos mosquitos en la habitación.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. There was always hot water available, and everything worked perfectly. What impressed me most was the staff everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I truly felt well taken care of and would be happy to return anytime. Highly recommended!

• Stefanie (8/5): - Wir hatten zwei Übernachtungen gebucht. Nachdem wir in der ersten Nacht im Zimmer ganz vorne nicht schlafen konnten, durften wir in ein deutlich besseres (und moderneres) im Hinterhof umziehen. Das Frühstück war gut!

• Cemile (6/5): It’s a cheap accommodation. - Price and location. Welcome juice was delicious. The staff was responsive when we complained about the stains on sheets and towels. Coffee/tea center and shower were decent. Even after we changed our room, it didn’t feel clean. There were stains on curtains and walls. Although Booking listed that the facility accepts credit card, they asked for cash with the excuse that their post machine didn’t work. They played nonstop recorded chanting, even at night.

Watch out the family dog can make some disturbing noises during the night, and the restaurant wasn’t open (why we’ve have chosen this hotel instead of an other too bad)

• Anna (10/5): Great Stay in the Heart of Kandy – Comfortable, Clean, and Friendly! - We stayed one night at Settle In Tourist Lodge and had a great experience. The owner was really nice and welcoming, and personally helped us arrange a taxi, which was much appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, with a proper bed and hotel-style bedding—much better than we expected for the price. Breakfast was also great and definitely good value for money. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the lake, bars, and the Temple of the Tooth. Perfect for a quick and relaxing stay in Kandy! nothing
• Irena (9/5): Quiet haven in a busy city - Rooms all spread around courtyard and garden which was pretty . Easy to walk to the tooth temple , good breakfast . Fairly pricey , not many places to eat in area .
• Dyrmishi (5/5): Is ok - The fridge I personally think it was too expensive for what it is, at the end i had to pay 5$ more because of a "tax" that i didn't understand what it was, i found a leach in the bathroom, the smell coming from the bathroom was very bad and i didn't like the fact that there were 2 cm space in the entrance door which allows animals to get inside.
• Jessika (10/5): Amazing little gem! - Great walkable location to the lake and some restaurants. The hosts were so kind and accomodating. They have a great laundry service here as well. We could even park our rental tuk tuk. We really enjoyed our stay! Comfy beds, hot water, and speedy wifi really were the cherry on top for us backpackers!
