Guest Reviews
- Xiaohai (8/5): - Breajfast was good. I like the mountain view from the hotel. In addition, the food in the hotel reastaurant was good with decent price.
- Meinrad (10/5): - zimmer mit Balkon und Aussicht genial. Preis/Leistung super
- Sang-Ho (10/5): - Friendly staff, easy parking, and good food. Intentionally I stayed at this hotel because my prevous stay two years ago was very good.
- Celestina (8/5): - Tutto ok
- travis (8/5): Good base camp for dolomites - My first Italy stay ever. We enjoyed our stay overall it was during the busy season and prices were higher everywhere else so did take that into consideration. We were in a room with a balcony which was nice but it was august and hit with no air conditioning. We are from the US so hotels without AC are an anomaly for us and it was hot but everywhere else is hot too. We had the window open and the balcony door open but there was a lot of traffic and it was pretty loud I slept my wife didn’t sleep very well just cause of the traffic but we stayed three nights and it was a good base camp for us. Outside was pretty inside was a little run down but we enjoyed our stay.
- Marcel (8/5): - Personeel super vriendelijk, omdat ik vroeg vertrok stond mijn ontbijt ingepakt klaar.
Top service!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Old smelly - nothing like pics - Old smelly rooms. We booked a room with balcony, but never got it. Then read other comments where people experienced the sane.
Book something else.
- Steve (8/5): - Convenient location, older hotel in good shape, very nice breakfast, nice views from the room
- Stephen (10/5): - Very clean staff very helpful
- Sandra J (10/5): Beautiful spot - Loved this place!!! It is not modern but it is cute and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was great with the most amazing view of the mountains. We were here late May and most places around were closed for the season still. We did find a few places not far but not walking distance.
- Spencer (8/5): - The breakfast was good as well as the view was very nice. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. There is a lot of noise from the traffic passing on the road and the shower doors were slightly broken but still closed tight.
- Emily Rose (2/5): Never Again - Rooms look nothing like the photos. Very old and dated nothing has been improved in years. Wouldn’t return wouldn’t recommend and not friendly to motorcyclists.
- Josée (10/5): - Tres bien, stationnement facile
- Carmen (10/5): - Good breakfast
Friendly staff
- Guillermo (10/5): - Great Service
- Eve (8/5): Fine Stay to Explore the Bolzano Region - Our stay at Hotel Piaz was fine. Parking was easy and so was our check in process. We went into one room and the shower door was broken so the very helpful front desk lady let us switch to a new room. It wasn’t the best hotel I’ve stayed at, but from here we visited Seceda, Vallunga, and Ortisei. It wasn’t dirty, just a little dingy and could maybe use a remodel. The lights weren’t too strong so it was just a little dark most of the time. We were able to walk to a restaurant to get some good dinner. The hotel had a restaurant too but didn’t open until later. The hotel also has a free breakfast that was a nice start to the day. Overall it was clean and a fine stay that allowed us to explore the Dolomites.
- Jaden (10/5): - Amazing and great stay
- Luping (10/5): - Convenient location, welcome staff
- Constance (8/5): - Comfortable hotel. Bathroom was small with a small step to enter it. Bunk bed had low clearance on bottom bunk. View from the balcony was very nice. Breakfast was very good with a lot of offerings.
- Vaijnath (8/5): - Good stay
- Chara (8/5): - Great for a one night stay. Sheets seemed very clean and breakfast was a nice thing to have! We ended up driving to the wrong address based on the address sent to us. It took us to someones house 15 min away which was an extra 30 min to our already long travels. The people at the house we ended up at said this happens all the time. The hotel could maybe explain this better or ask goolge to fix this. My husbands Iphone imaps found the address but my samung google maps didnt.
- Dana (8/5): - It was not super luxury but it was good enough. Breakfast was good.
- Sue (10/5): - Great location and breakfast.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Clean rooms, great service, amazing breakfast! - Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at the Hotel Piaz. We were there for 8 nights, so we had plenty of time to evaluate the property. The location was very convenient to all the main passes of the Dolomites. Since we were there in the shoulder season, there were few restaurants open, so we had dinner at the restaurant at the hotel three nights, and their continental breakfast every morning. The food was excellent, as was our service from Aurora, the head server, who always had a smile on her face and bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. If there was one negative, this is an older building, so the walls are quite thin, so anyone in an adjacent room who spoke or played the tv loudly was a nuisance. But the staff were all great people and made our stay as comfortable as possible. If anything, I would recommend staying here midweek and during the off season.
- Giovanni (10/5): - Tutto ok
- Kenta (4/5): - Wifi is many times down.
If you can work or downloading no chance.
Restaurant quality also not good
Breakfast time not flexible
- Francois (6/5): - Nice village
- Nienke (10/5): - Heel aardig personeel: balie, ontbijtruimte en schoonmaak! Zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet
- Veronika (6/5): Good breakfast - Nice place to stay for the price and the breakfast has a lot of options, also gluten free options. The standard of the bathroom was a bit worn and could also have been more clean.
- Steve (6/5): - Our room didn't have air conditioning and our window opened to the main road through town which was about 15 meters away. Without AC we wanted our windows open, but the traffic noise was loud. The room was very small for my wife and I and our two teenage boys.
- Daniel (10/5): - Great property
- JAMES (8/5): - Overall the place was pretty nice with a very friendly staff and a nice breakfast of a period the only downside was that there weren't many restaurants near the property and many restaurants in the city centre of Pizza were closed at the time we were there. The bus stop was literally right outside the door so that was a plus. We came from Bolzano on the 180 bus and should have gotten off at the albergo rizzi stop but went to the last stop in Pera and had to walk back a little ways. The tourism office in the town of Pizza told us which gondolas and chair lifts were open in the area so I recommend that.
- Silvia (8/5): - Personale cordiale e disponibile.
- Barry (10/5): Nice hotel. Would stay there again. - Good location with easy parking. Good restaurant with good food.
Check in sbrigato in pochi minuti.
- Robert (10/5): Ottimo - Ottimo, personale disponibile e gentile tutto molto bello
- John (10/5): - This place was a great place to stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Tutto bene
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Tutto bene
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Posto accessibile a tutti vicino a Rosengarten servizio colazione pessimo
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Struttura molto pulita e accogliente. Camera quadrupla spaziosa.Ottima locarion.
- Fulvia (10/5): Soddisfatta - Una bella esperienza, l’hotel è comodo come posizione e offre un buon servizio. Ricca la colazione!!
- Julie (6/5): - The check in staff was very friendly.
The rooms are very budget, and the walls are super thin. I could hear the entire conversation and the person farting in the room next to us. The blankets on the double bed were not big enough for two people. It happened to be a cold time and the heat was not turned on.
This is a great place if you are looking for something budget friendly and nothing more.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good modern hotel with easy parking on-site and clean rooms. Much better than we expected from reviews on this site. Excellent value for money. 5-10 min walk to Pozza centre. Good on-site restaurant with 3-course set dinner menu for EUR20. Good buffet breakfast. Good pizza restaurant nearby (1 min walk). Hotel is close to road but very little noise overnight despite our room overlooking the road; closing the shutters helps! No air conditioning, but it didn't get too hot for us in the room.
- mukund (6/5): okay room in Dolomite - Sept 2019: Room was okay. Staff are nice but can't guide. All they could do was to tell us to go to tourist information center. Value for the money oaky. There are lot of options in the area and doesn't matter where you stay.
- Christen (6/5): Discount Hostel - cheap but not so great - + Price
+ Friendliness of staff, reception
+ Beds
- Sound isolation
- Breakfast (especially the coffee)
- Julieta (10/5): Very friendly and helpful staff. Nicely clean. - Very friendly and helpful staff. Nicely clean rooms and hotel areas.
We were a family group in need of four bed spaces. We were assigned to two linked bedrooms, which was fantastic.
We'd love to return to this hotel. We'd recommend.
