• gabriela (10/5): No AC but great staff and service - Coming from the US, we love AC and didn’t realize these rooms didn’t have central air but overall the staff was very nice and polite and took very clean
• Emma (6/5): - Clean hotel and comfortable. But no air con and no fridge to store drinks. Had building work opposite which was so nosiy and would have liked to have been told about this. Small hotel so no possibility to move rooms. Good location but needs air con or more ventilation.

• Karl Armin (8/5): Ausgezeichnete Lage - Das Hotel wurde sehr schön renoviert. Das Classic-Doppelzimmer war sehr ansprechend, sauber, ruhig und hatte einen Parkettboden, aber für 2 Personen doch relativ klein mit wenig Abstelllächen, da es im Bad gar keine Abstellmöglichkeiten oder Haken hatte. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt reicht es völlig. Das Bad war sehr klein, aber die darin integrierte Dusche dafür genügend gross. Grundsätzlich jedoch nichts für korpulente Personen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
• Lea (8/5): - Sehr schönes Hotel, aber auch ziemlich klein. Im Kleiderschrank kriegt man kaum Sachen unter. Für den klassischen Städtetrip jedoch sehr geeignet.

• Zak (2/5): very rude receptionist - The guy at the reception in the morning shift was extremely agressive. I asked the guy in the night shift for a late check out at least one hour as I wanted to sleep, he said ok. Then in the next day the other called with an attitude and he literally told me “ I give you 10 minutes to leave or you pay!!” Like I’m in the army or I’m asking for his mercy!!! Was a weird experience, I never had it in my life. Also when I left he told me a bad words. I’m speechless about his agressive attitude. He needs to learn how to be professional and have some skills on the hospitality.

At first this seemed strange but it was not a problem at all. I am sure they are just trying to monitor who is coming and going for safety reasons

• Robert (4/5): Not good as a double room - Our "pass sanitaire" was not checked at book in and frequently guests were in the lounge area without masks. Some signage regarding number of people in the lift would have been helpful, my wife was subjected to other guests crowding in around her; she exited the lift and took the stairs. An old towel was found under the bed. The bed was small and uncomfortable, several times I nearly fell out, and didn't once have a decent night's sleep. The room was too small for a standard double, probably okay as a single. The staff were friendly and helpful, it is the owner/management who need to get their act together.
• Bolette Kulsbjerg (8/5): - Rigtig dejlig beliggenhed centralt i et godt område. Personale er smilende og der er åbent 24/7. Værelset helt udemærket med fin komfort i sengen. Badeværelset lugtede dog ret indelukket/muggent og vi var nødt til at have udsugning tændt hele tiden.

Pas de prise à côté du lit dans la chambre 104 et télévision qui s’est déclenchée toute seule une fois quand j’étais sous la douche (petite frayeur) et deux fois pendant la nuit l’écran restait lumineux malgré le fait de l’avoir éteinte.
• Verified traveler (4/5): 狭かったですね。 - シングルの部屋に宿泊しました。参考写真のイメージよりはかなり狭く、特にシャワールームとトイレのユニットスペースは相当狭いです。石鹸以外は何も用意されていないのでシャンプー等は持参した方が良いです。因みに冷蔵庫もありません。壁も相当薄いです。笑　 良い点はマレ地区の中心辺りにあるので買い物等には便利です。また、フロントの人は良い人でした。

The room was clean and the staff is friendly. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel since there are many nice small cafes just around the corner.

Front desk staff were hit and miss - the person we had at check in wasn't super friendly, but the person we had at check out was very friendly and helpful with directions to the metro to get directly to the airport.

The floors were very dirty, the chair on the side was stained and full of dust, there’s barely any soap and no other toiletries

Bien sûr, l'hôtel vieillit mais nos remarques sont entendues et certains travaux sont prévus. Les lits sont excellents mais les oreillers sont moins bien. A revoir peut être. La situation est idéale pour quadriller Paris!!

• Mónica (10/5): - Los cuartos son súper pequeños, fui con mi esposo y entre las dos maletas, él y yo necesitábamos organizarnos para no pisarlas Jajajaja pero la verdad es que el hotel está muy bien si solo quieres pasar la noche. La cama es muy cómoda y los cuartos están limpios y recién remodelados. Además tienes el metro a una cuadra y el Sena a 2. La ubicación no puede ser mejor, sin duda volvería a hospedarme ahí. Otra cosa, las paredes son muy delgadas entonces se escucha lo que hace la habitación con mucha facilidad, eso nos despertó un día en la madrugada.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible - do not book - This is one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. First, the room I received looked nothing like the hotel I booked. Second, there was no hot water and they didn’t tell us when we were checking in. We waited 3 hours for the hot water to come back (which it never did) before we checked out and went down the street. Avoid at all costs.

We would have liked stronger water pressure in the shower however the room itself was quite spacious and the view was spectacular. Beds and pillows were not the most comfortable, however it was fine for a three night stay. ***THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE!*** My daughter and I stayed there for three nights. The staff were incredibly rude and were not helpful at all! We didn't ask for much other than some suggestions for places to eat, asked for directions once and then asked for the front desk to print out tickets for a tour for us. Each time, we were treated as though we were interrupting them and were brushed off. When we asked for the best transportation to get to the airport the following day, the man told us that we could walk, take the metro or taxi and turned back to his computer. Keep in mind, there was NO ONE else in the lobby when we were asking for assistance. The men at the front desk simply did not want to be bothered by our inquiries. We travel quite a bit and in my experience, hotel staff are always one of the best resources for the questions we had and we did not ask for much. I will NEVER stay here again and will be sure to advise anyone I know to avoid this hotel. There are plenty of other hotels in the same price range with better, friendlier service. During our travels through London and Paris, this was the ONLY occasion where we encountered rude, horrible people. The people in France were so friendly and wonderful, this hotel experience was quite unfortunate.

Room was tight but not tighter than any other hotel in this range in Paris- maybe even slightly bigger. Marais location is excellent if you want a lot of food, shopping and bar options. Can be a bit noisy however since there is a late night bar right across the street.

• David (8/5): Thanksgiving in Paris - The Grand Hotel du Loiret was very centrally located to everything we wanted to do in Paris. It's minutes away from Notre Dame and even closer to the metro. Staff was very helpful. The room and in room bathroom were clean, but small by "American" standards. But then again, we weren't in America. Since we were only there to sleep, it worked out just fine. Highly recommend the Jewish coffee shops/bakeries just a few short minutes away.

• C (6/5): First trip to Paris - The rooms were tiny(we were expecting that from Paris) but it was not very clean, there was a bit if mold in shower and near the window some tiny bugs. I had oreded the breakfast and options were limited and bread was stale, no fresh anything. It took a while for staff to warm up to us.We did love the neighborhood, but it can be very noisy at night.
• Ludmila (8/5): Location, Location, Location - Perfect location. 3-5 min to Metro, 10 min walk to Notre Dame, 25 min walk to Louvre. Multiple restaurants one street up from a hotel. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean but small like most of the hotels in Paris. They do have elevator. They do offer breakfast but we did not eat in the hotel.

Stay only marred by the poor service on arrival (chap at reception wouldn't get off his phone and, not surprisingly, the electronic room key failed - meaning a return to reception with luggage. Service on departure was not a joyful experience either.

The elevator was broken for almost the whole time we were there (made it difficult to carry our bags out when we were headed to the airport) - there was no apology from the staff for not having a working elevator. Also, you have to leave the key with the front desk staff when you leave the hotel, which made me a bit uncomfortable.

When we came back down to correct him on his mistake he said we booked the wrong room, I had to prove otherwise. The second who did the night shift made up for his attitude. All in all I would probably stay here again, even if the first concierge was working that day as he became more comedic than infuriating.
• Nicholas (10/5): Convenient and clients hotel - We had a good time. Sunday morning was a bit noisy as the cleaning services and trash men seemed to work non stop from 3am! The staff are friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.
• Elaine (10/5): Convenient hotel perfect for sightseeing in Paris - We had a great stay here -small room -but it had everything we needed -very comfortable and great location for sightseeing in Paris. 5 minute walk from metro station. Many food places right by the hotel. Im glad I booked here instead of staying somewhere more expensive.

• Alberto (8/5): Nice hotel with small rooms and good location. - Room and bathroom were quite small but were clean, relatively updated, and location was good. The staff was also kind and helpful! Would recommend and the wifi worked pretty well too.
• Geoff (8/5): Perfect location - I enjoyed staying here a lot. Other than not automatically getting the room we'd requested on arrival, the rest of the stay was great. I'm really looking forward to staying there again very soon.
• Lance (6/5): Wanted to love it. - I wanted to love this hotel as the hotel itself is great. It's just that the neighborhood is way too loud and noisy until at least 1AM, and then there are loud disturbances off and on during the rest of the night, along with various trash trucks in the morning. This is of course because I had to have the windows open - it was hot in August in Paris. If windows were closed, then the noise would be reduced by half at least. There are a couple bars that keep music loud until 1AM each night. So, if you wish to get to sleep before then, do not stay in a street facing room. I guess that an interior room would be nice and quiet. The bedding was a bit too firm, and the pillows I had to avoid as they were also way too firm and high. The hotel is cute and the staff were great - very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, right in the Marais - Hotel de Ville. Only because of the loud noise I would not be able to stay again.

• Julie (6/5): Le Marais Neighborhood Hotel - The hotel fit all of our travel needs, although it was a bit small. I know Paris hotels are generally tight on space so we were not too surprised when we first arrived. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was wonderful! Only 2 blocks from a major metro stop and Notre Dame!!
