- Carol (10/5): a splurge that’s worth every penny! - This is an exceptional lodging in an old abbot’s residence from the 1300s. The staff and owner were gracious and helpful. It is beautiful, historic, comfortable and was a highlight of our walk on the Cotswolds Way.

Richard greeted us when arrived (later than expected due to car trouble) and showed us around the property. We loved the pulpit bar and had a drink in the great hall. Our breakfast was delicious. Nothing. Everything was great.

- Georgia (9/5): A most memorable place to stay. - It was an incredible place to stay! The staff, breakfasts, grounds, the BUILDING! It was beautiful! The bed was well used and lumpy. The hallway and restroom room lighting is motion activated so when either my husband or I got up to use the restroom in the night, the other was awakened with very bright lights.

It was clean, it had absolutely everything one might need. Service was exceptional. Breakfast tasty. Location is ideal, so peaceful yet 5 minutes walk to great places for food and drink. La sera accendono un braciere e ci hanno lasciato anche i mash mellow da scaldare sul fuoco. Da una piccola porticina nascosta tra le siepi ci si trova direttamente nel centro del paesino di Broadway che è carinissimo.

- Michelle (10/5): Idyllic place to stay - This place is everything you could wish for and more! Stunning location, right in the centre of quaint and picturesque Broadway. The rooms were grand. Complimentary Molton Brown products added to the luxury. We stayed in Merlot and although the bathroom was separate, it was still private to us and wasn't a problem. The grounds are simply beautiful. It was like a scene from Bridgerton! There's plenty of places to eat and drink in Broadway. You're spoilt for choice. Breakfast was lovely and a great choice. They have an honesty bar where you can serve your own drinks! Staying at Abbots Grange made it an ideal location for us to visit other nearby villages in the Cotswolds. Highly recommend! Only that I ordered a bottle of champagne for my partner's birthday but it never came. It didn't ruin our stay though.

With a small number of rooms, I was able to enjoy a relaxing visit enjoying the common areas and the grounds. The nightly campfires in the garden were an added bonus. Being in town makes it easy to go out for a stroll to check out the many restaurants and independent shops.

Wife cut finger whilst climbing with the assistance of the Rope Bannister causing finger to scrape on hanging wall. Patrons should be advised in advance as this room beautiful as it, is not suitable for elderly guests like us. See above
- michael (10/5): Wonderful hotel in a beautiful part of the world. - Building history and the service. Nothing really, I'm quite tall so the bed was a little small but I was prepared for that knowing the age of the building and furniture. It was still a fantastic hotel.

- Katy (9/5): A true Cotswold treat - I wasn’t realised the fantastic history to the building. The Great Hall and Parlour were stunning along with the grounds. Breakfast was excellent. Bed wasn’t the comfiest and bathroom was functional but needed an update.

- Karen (10/5): A unique and stunning property with amazing staff! - We were greatly very warmly by Eleanor on arrival with a glass of bubbles, she showed us around and told us a little bit about the history of the house, she was excellent, very informative, warm and friendly! We felt relaxed from the start! The manor house is unique and beautiful, it is perfectly located, we enjoyed walking back through the gardens, which are beautiful lit, after a meal out in the evening. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There are lots of nice touches, my husband particularly enjoyed the shortbread biscuits! Breakfast was lovely! The lady that served us (sorry I didn't get her name) was very attentive, nothing was too much trouble! It is a very special and unique hotel, the atmosphere is very relaxed, the staff are exceptional! There are lots of little extra touches that make your stay so much better than other hotels we have stayed at. A minor thing, the bathroom was fine, but could do with an update.

- Stacy Solodkin (10/5): ABBOTS GRANGE IS TRULY MAGICAL - Everything! This place is so magical we decided to stay another night! Our room was like staying in a church…the family who owns it raised their children there so there is a warm feeling and a feeling of being somewhere special. The owner is delightful and cares about the history of the bldg. Sitting by the fire at night is something I will never forget. The staff is wondrous and the breakfast was so yummy both mornings and made to order with exactly what you want. The town is super quaint with a really great stores and restaurants! We travel a lot and this place is a hidden gem! If you are lucky enough to get a room definitely go!!!! I loved absolutely everything! We stayed in a room that had a clawfoot tub but no shower and the toilet is actually like a confessional! They offered to move us to another room with a larger bathroom but the room was so magical I didn’t care! They were SO GRACIOUS and allowed us to shower in one of their other rooms…I’m telling you this place is SPECIAL

The service was faultless, we were made to feel really welcome and valued and breakfast was delicious - it is truly a hidden gem and fully deserves the highest praise. - Gillian (10/5): A Cotswolds charmer. An exceptional hotel in beautiful setting and a short walk to town. - We had a wonderful stay at this excellent hotel. After driving in we were captivated by the beautiful building bathed in soft October sunlight. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne before being shown to our well appointed rooms complete with four poster beds, a lovely seating area overlooking the grounds and a generous en suite bathroom. Once we were settled in we adjourned to the vaulted great room for afternoon tea and cake. Abbots Grange has the wonderful advantage of being a property that is steeped in history with extensive views over the surrounding countryside offering tennis, croquet and lovely outdoor seating areas but it is only a two minute walk from town so it offers the best of both worlds. Service is impeccable. The staff are clearly well trained to ensure that your stay is enjoyable which ours was. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and found the servers to be very accommodating and pleasant. This property has an understated luxury and elegance with no stuffiness. The location is superb, the setting is glorious, and the staff are first class. If you are heading to the Cotswolds treat yourself to a night or two at Abbots Grange Manor. You will not be disappointed.
