- Sandy (10/5): Perfect Stay - Our stay here was fantastic. We stayed in the Eagle's Nest, and the cabin was so nice. We had everything we needed, which included great wifi and a smart tv. The restrooms were close and very clean and modern. The creek ran right behind our cabin, and we got to watch some salmon swimming around! The owner came by to check on us, and he's a really great guy. Very friendly. It's also minutes away from downtown Seward where all of the stores and docks are. We had a great stay here!
- Sue (6/5): - I believe the power outage was a simple fix of the gas range ignite device. But we were kicked out for the night and moved to a hotel room instead original 2 bedrooms, with kitchen apartment of the creekside cabin unit. It is very hard for us to deal with the load of grocery and squished to a hotel room without space. And we were planing to do exit glacier hike, because of the forced moving, we ended our trip without hiking. The gas range ignite devices must be the cause of unstable power supply. The wiring and voltage for the ignite devices don’t need huge digging work to fix the circuit problem. Just disable ignite device or reinstall a right plug for the gas range electric supply should fix the problem. Anyway, our trip was interrupted abruptly because of we were asked to move out and to a small hotel room.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved it - We stayed in a cabin with a loft for four days. It had a kitchen with everything you needed. It was very welcoming and cozy. We loved it. The grounds were beautiful. The creek had salmon in it. The water for showers was hot, but you had to take short ones. My only recommendation for the owner is a fan for the loft. It could get really hot for sleeping.

- Jutta (7/5): Sehr schönes Cabin - Das Cabin hatte viel Charme, so, wie man sich das für Alaska vorstellt. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Es war sehr sauber, und die Bettwäsche roch so frisch wie in keiner anderen Unterkunft. Die Küchenausstattung war etwas spärlich.

- Shailesh (8/5): A clean, quiet cabin in a great location with a very helpful host. - I had a great stay at Alaska Creekside Cabin in Seward. The location is excellent — just a quick 5-minute drive to downtown Seward, yet the property is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful setting. There are about a dozen cabins on site with shared bathrooms and showers, all of which were well-maintained and very clean. The cabin itself was comfortable and came with a TV, refrigerator, and a small microwave, which made the stay even more convenient. The host was fantastic — very helpful and proactive. He reached out ahead of time to confirm my arrival and provided clear driving directions and check-in instructions. Even though the office closes at 8 PM, I arrived later at 10 PM and was still able to check in smoothly thanks to his thoughtful arrangements. Overall, a well-kept, quiet place with all the essentials and a very accommodating host. I’d be happy to stay here again on my next trip to Seward!

- Debbie (8/5): Alaska Creekside Cabins - The cabin was very charming. Nice setting in the woods with a creek near by. The bathroom & showers were nice & clean. There was a microwave, mini fridge and coffee pot with complimentary coffee which is always a plus. Our cabin didn't have a bathroom. A shared bathroom means there is a nice bathroom on-site with a shower house connected. So in the middle of the night if you have to use the bathroom you have to put your shoes on and walk across the property. Not a fan of that set up. Also we had a problem with the Wi-Fi. The router is on the window sill behind the curtain. It was unplugged. Once we plugged it in it worked fine. It was late on day 2 of a 3 day stay when we figured that out. One last thing, the bed is absolutely beautiful but so high its hard for old people like us to get into.

The tree-scape view on the balcony, calming. The facilities were very comfortable. As there were 3 in our party, we were suitably housed in the Barndominium. I should have checked classification for a "creek side" cabin, and got up close and personal to the salmon...next time??

- Karin (10/5): Cozy cabin near Exit Glacier - What a unique experience to have so many salmon in the stream next to our cabin! We liked that the location was close to Exit Glacier, but several miles from touristy Seward. The cabin was well equipped and very quiet. The manager was very responsive to text messages. The bathroom and shower were in a separate building. A little inconvenient in the middle of the night, but we knew this was the deal when we booked.

- Irene (10/5): Un angolo si paradiso proprio fuori Seward - La posizione, la pulizia e l’accoglienza della casa, fornita di tutto il necessario e anche di più (c’era persino un dispenser delle spezie in cucina), il bagno grande e luminoso così come le altre stanze. Tutto, insieme alla gentilezza dei proprietari, hanno reso il soggiorno davvero piacevole. Consigliato per visitare Seward e i dintorni (tutto a 10/15’ di auto) Niente in particolare, ma se posso dare un suggerimento, direi solo di mettere delle luci nelle due cabine armadio, molto utili. Infine, peccato non aver visto gli orsi fare il bagno nel ruscello ….

- MARC (4/5): This cabin needs improvements - The cabin was extremely dark even during the day and so poorly lit that one could not read, except when standing right below the only light fixture.There were no utensils, plates, glasses or bowls even though there were a fridge and microwave. Request for service went unanswered.

Only issue was the fact that it was so dark inside. Needed better light bulbs and perhaps a light fixture that pointed down instead of up. Very hard to see in the kitchen

- Karin (10/5): I think what was the downside of spending four nights here is the cost of taxis to town which is $25 each way for 3 mile - Cabins were beautiful. Coffee set up was great and the coffee tasted so good! I like that there was a cooking and dishwashing space set up near the restrooms. Showers and bathrooms were very clean. Walking to the bathroom at night! The Bears were not in the area, but I could imagine that would be pretty terrifying when you know there are bears around.

Had to leave the windows open. I think it needs to be checked and may not be working properly. Wouldn’t want anyone to get sick. The curtains in the main bedroom were not sufficient to block out the sun; seems to be missing a panel.

The website embellished the setting and surrounding. The “creek” was more like a 3 foot stream. This was very disappointing to our boys ages 10 and 12. Also, the shower is a joke.

The owner and his son were very friendly, taking good care of us and also giving us our space. I don't think you will find a place in this area which gives this much for a lower price.

We didn't realise when we initially booked that the cabin did not have bathroom and shower facilities, so we had to use the communal facilities which were approximately 100m away. They were clean and the shower facility provided towels for our use. The cabins are a 10min walk from a couple of good dining options and the local area was natural and lovely. We didn't have a car, but could generally get around with local tour facilities or via the local Uber driver when he was available.
