Guest Reviews
- jonas (2/5): - The pool was Dirty long time since they change water. Previus visitors there say same things in previus revius. All dishes in the meny were not possibly to order. At dinner they charge us fore pinapple shakes (all thu that was not possibly to order) We drank pinapple juice, shakes was almost tvice as expenisve. We discoverd it Before we payed. The aircon in ouer room was awful! So loud it sounded we had a truck in ouer room. It did not become special Cold eigther. They said the restaurant open 7 am and it did but they did not start to serve breakfast until 7:30. They had a meny fore brakfast but they did not ask what we wanted they served everyone same dish. Wi-Fi was ok but only in the restaurant ore at the pool not in the rooms!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The beach area is perfect.Pool area is great. The whole area is so relaxing,,definitely coming back next time.
The road was disappointing.
- Unknown (2/5): - Booked 3 days ago with separate booking for separate room... only one room was seen!!! The picture showed in expedia is not the actual room ! Breakfast bread was with molds.
- Michael (6/5): One night stay ok - One night stay ok
- Florquin (2/5): - Une catastrophe ,horrible hôtel

Une honte
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I feel there like be at home… very family approach… Thank you for all…I will come back :)
- Tricia (6/5): Good but need more maintenance. - The employee named May-en is a lovely lady, and we enjoyed her service. Generally speaking the maintenance work wasn't well done, the traffic road to the resort was horrible, and the room with view got problem with heating water. The owner is an energetic lady Inday who speaks fluent English, very hostile. And I agree with her point of view such as "kids, don't beg, try to work something out to earn your penny." If the coast line can be protected, and try to work the resort with more manpower or efforts, actually it can be a paradise for divers.
- Edmon (10/5): - one of the best resort we’ve been to. good service and their rooms were clean. the place was so relaxing and peaceful. I can’t wait to back there soon! 😊
- Andrew (2/5): This place is on the down - This place had no water throughout the entire resort, when we arrived our room booked and paid for was not available and we were put into this shack that was falling down, we made it clear we were not happy and they put us in another room for the night that was just OK but not to the standard we booked and paid for. The next day we were put into the room that we booked and paid for. The owner showed some sympathy to us. The staff over breakfast were useless and kept mucking up our orders. The place is run down and its a shame as it has been a amazing resort in its day. It needs a new owner to grab it take it own it and fix it up, it is potential plus. We meet a few Filipino families that actually left the resort and they could not stand the sub standard of the place in particular the water. Another couple (American and a his Filippina wife) said they had been there a number of times over the years and could not believe how the place had gone backwards. This is not a attack on the place the female owner is loverly but the place needs addressing
- Mary Ann (4/5): Nice beach area but not recommended to stay - It was bad because there is no water in our bathroom! It's hard to stay if there is no water.
- AVRAHAM (2/5): - This place so called "resort " is one of the worst I ever been on. I honestly recommend Expedia co to take out this horrible place from the list.
- R (8/5): Great restful beautiful spot, very quite - We were so happy to get there after 3 hours driving from the capital. We had no idea it was so far. please put on your ad how far it is as we did not have a map of bohol and had no idea where your resort was. Food was good though, do not serve shell fish with your noodles, we got sick. It tasted wonderful only found out the next day.Reasonable price too. Great staff very helpful. Lovely pool.
- scott (10/5): paradise - everything i had hoped for and more beautiful white sand beach raked every day by the staff ,kayaking in the ocean , snorkeling, its all so natural and pristine giant petrified oyster shells buried in the sand at least 10 ft in diameter a truly amazing experience .the food is excellent and a very nice well maintained pool and on the island of bohol the beaches are all open you can walk for miles on the beautiful white sand
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don't waste your $ or your time here - So overpriced for old raised rotten, worn out hut that wasn't sealed from cracks, hole in wall, & big gaps in door. A/c all night did not get rid of the strong musty/rotten smell, floors soft, termite dust everywhere. paid $2500p taxes & fees & if this was a backpackers place priced at 1000p then it would of been ok. So many better options around for more or way less $. We asked to change rooms into their cement room & waited all night for owner to come & see us & she never did until next morning. Us & other couple there left after our 1st night. Have been to Philippines 5 x, worst place we've ever stayed. It either needs huge $$ invested to update/upgrade as places next door are amazing or else price it accordingly as a backpackers inexpensive place
- John (8/5): Quiet with lovely beach. Needs some TLC - Great beach but resort rather run down compared to all adjacent resorts. Long walk to nearest small town and 1km rough dirt track to access resort. Quiet area. Good for couples. No night life in the area.
- John (8/5): Quiet and value for money. No night life. Bed by 8 - Very quiet hotel. Beautiful beach and surroundings but too isolated. Accessed by a 1km rough dirt track.
Premises run down but good value for money. Two high class establishments right next door along the beach for a change of restaurant and bar.
We enjoyed our stay but don't set your expectations too high. You get what you pay for.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not a very good beach area - No access for drinking water after hours. The resort don't have much to offer to far away from anything.
- Thomas G (2/5): Nightmare hotel, manager / owner was very rude - I arrived here after a few hours of driving in the rain, only to find they had no Idea I booked a room for the night. There was no one else staying at the hotel so everything was pretty much turned off, and the rooms weren't prepared. After an hour of waiting in our wet clothes we were shown the room and found that there was no wifi, no cable tv, no fridge, no hot water, no free bottled water and no furnished patio, all things that were listed in our hotels.com booking
So we started trying to fix everything together, grabbing patio furniture from the other empty balconies(not sure why ours was the only one missing chairs). We had the wifi reset and the other router plugged in to get wifi, but there was still the issue with everything else and at this point we were trying to call the owner / manager to come help. The manager talked to me while driving, and told me she would be here in one minute. 2 hours later she arrived, and at this point I just wanted to cancel the booking and go elsewhere, she offered to "upgrade" me to the garden view room, which I could of booked on hotels.com for $15 less, as I paid more for the sea view. After awhile she offered me free dinner and a few free beers. I never received the beer, and at checkout she tried to charge me 110 pesos per day for cable tv and 200 pesos a day for the fridge. I still never got the bottled water they advertise they give for free in the hotels.com ad
Overall I was really disappointed the owner
- Paul (8/5): Romantic Getaway - Wonderful place. We stayed in the beachfront chalets.Very quirky but great location with beach virtually on our doorstep.Staff and owner were wonderful and couldnt be more helpful.
Only downside is having to get trike to go anywhere but no big deal.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Look for another hotel - Staff was helpful and accommodating. Food was truly great especially the seafood with coconut milk. But the rest like the room badly needs improvement. Bed was uneven, pillows were too high that we got backaches after. Other services were grossly overpriced like rental for motorbike to visit the municipal center was P600! The location is also very inaccessible. Walking is impossible with the heat ans if you don't ask, they wont tell you that they can call a tricycle for you.
