- Marta (9/5): Desconexión, deporte y relax - Ubicación muy buena. Personal muy atento y amable. Buena limpieza y comodidad.

The family/staff were very accommodating
A beautiful location with views over the mountains, breakfast was great. It was a disappointment that the restaurant was closed, while we were there.

- Anonymous (8/5): friendly place with beautiful scenery. avoid the cafes opposite the ski lifts - rip-off merchants - great location with marvellous views. access to village very easy. old world charm. restaurant was okay, depended what you chose. not the comfiest of beds.
- Juan Carlos (10/5): Muy recomendable - Buena situacion del hotel. Aparcamiento propio en la finca. Buen estado de la instalacion y de los servicios. Limpieza impecable.
- billmatthiesen (10/5): Hotel Sabocos a small gem in the Pyrenes - We enjoyed wonderful hiking week in the Pyrenes (August, 2019), using the Hotel Sabocos in Panticosa as our base. The hotel is family-run with a friendly and attentive staff -- and a wonderful Argentine chef. Rooms are basic but very comfortable, quiet and clean. There are nice spaces both inside and out for get-togethers over drinks or just reading or writing postcards. Nice small bar. The village of Panticosa is charming, with absolutely spectacular scenery. Also very nice little cafes and tapas places close by. You can do hikes right from the village or start from other trailheads -- including the Banos de Panticosa just a few miles away. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
- mikepr59 (10/5): Lovely place to stay in Panticosa - My wife and I stayed here for a week on half board. Great base to explore the local area. Room was good with a great view to the mountains and kept sparklingly clean . Breakfast was continental self service with a good selection . Dinner was a full 3 course with a varied selection and good quality. Great service from Mateus and Vanessa. Had a lovely terrace to have either a post walk drink or a post dinner digestif. Run by Pia and Abelardo whose attention to detail was great. Lovely hotel .
- SallyA238 (6/5): Base for our hiking tour. - We stayed here for several nights while doing a hiking tour with Collett’s. The hiking in this region in September is superb. This hotel is small simple and would benefit from some upgrading. While the communal areas and restaurant are quaint and comfortable, the beds are no bigger than queen size with very firm mattresses and small bathrooms. The position of shower head over bath with shower curtain is not ideal. Take care not to slip and be prepared for the hot water to run out late in the day.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Estancia perfecta - Estancia perfecta. Ni una sola pega en limpieza, atención, comida y servicios. 100% recomendable
- Iris (2/5): Old and run down - Very run down and old hotel, with minimal facilities and services. Reps don't speak English, but kind...
If comfort is important for you - this would not be your choice. We checked out after 1 night, though paid for 2.
That bad!
- Daniel_NL (10/5): Very nice stay in beautiful surroundings - Location is great if you want to walk in the mountains. Parking is free and on-site. Room is very clean and quite big. It's not luxury but good quality. Nice balcony with mountain view. Staff is very friendly.
Breakfast is quite good, but don't expect something like Sofitel Magnifique breakfast. Dinner is also good, but starts at 8 PM and they serve super fast. Within 45 minutes you are back outside after 3 courses and coffee. I would prefer a slower pace since we are on holiday. There is a supermarket and a bakery within 200 meters from the hotel. We were here for four nights and that's more than enough to explore the (beautiful) area.
- EK-BSK (10/5): a superb holiday - We spent a week at the Sabocos which is well up to 4 star standard. The owner and his wife manned the reception and were always welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely well furnished room with balcony looking out to the mountains. The hotel is well situated near to the cable car station and the village shops. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. There is a spacious comfortable lounge, and a bar serving attractive drinks, and a terrace with mountain views. It is a good walking area with guided flower walks in summer. We hope to return.
- carolh533 (10/5): Great hotel in fabulous locatiom - We stayed at this lovely hotel for a week while doing wildflower walks with Colletts Mountain Holidays. The rooms were clean, comfortable and attractive, if a bit hot, the staff were very friendly and obliging and the meals were excellent. All in all, a great experience.
- Bern_Shen (10/5): Excellent base for mountain hikes - My wife & I were thoroughly delighted during our 5 nights at this unassuming but excellent hotel in the mountain haven of Panticosa in the Spanish Pyrenees. Abelardo & Pia at the front desk, chefs Matias & Javier, & the rest of the hotel staff provided superb service & meals, especially welcome after long days of hiking.
We were fortunate to be in town as part of a Collett's walking tour in early June, before the traditional Spanish tourist high season kickoff in July, so felt particularly privileged to be here. Very clean rooms, plenty of hot water for showers, loads of nearby hikes both in Spain & just across the border (just 20 minutes' drive) in France, generous pours at the bar, excellent breakfasts & dinners - we'd love to come back some day!
- Carvts01 (10/5): Another lovely visit - We had another great stay at the Sabocos and cannot recommend the place, location, food and wonderful staff enough. They dealt with a group of 12 English visitors of all ages brilliantly; with enough room for us all to sit together and plenty of room in the salon forneveryone to have space.
Look forward to visiting again very soon.
Oh and the skiing was great too!
- tonystrick (10/5): Great hotel - Stayed here with Colletts when doing the GR11. It was first class, clean and hospitable. The food was great and staff faultless. Best breakfast ever and evening meal with as much wine as you need.
Panticosa is beautiful place too. You will not be disappointed.
- johndu2015 (10/5): Very nice hotel, excellent food and 100m next to the Telecabine - We liked this hotel very much for its location, friendly English speaking staff, good breakfast and diner and this all for a very friendly price. And the cherry on the pudding was the view from our room. Every morning and evening a breathtaking light show..
There are several nice walks in the surroundings and when you are a bit lazy (likeus) you can take the Telecabina for the first 1000 meters or so. Own parking lot next to the hotel and a nice terrace in front for an aperitif. Rooms are neat, not so big but very efficient layout.
- 391jane (10/5): Pyrenees Walking holiday - We had a wonderful stay in August this year, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, in a spacious room with great views. The staff, ( who spoke English), could not have been more friendly or helpful, even getting up to welcome us on our 3.30am arrival. The meals were excellent and had plenty of choice, with the menu being explained each night by the ever cheerful David. We are already looking forward to a return trip.
- DavidCl19 (8/5): What a view! - A comfortable hotel with most amenities in a lovely location. We had a great view of the mountains from our room, which was large and comfortable. The only downside was the very noisy fast flowing stream outside the window, such that it was necessary to keep the window shut at night. However this would not be a problem in winter. The breakfast buffet was good and varied, and the restaurant acceptable. We visited in June and this was the only place in the town that we could find open for dinner! Staff were friendly and helpful, and the lounge is a good place to meet walkers for tips on the many great places to walk in the area.
- Marta (8/5): Relación precio calidad mejor imposible - Te sientes casi como en casa
- paulsY5958FH (10/5): Very friendly, clean and tidy hotel. - The hotel is well situated for walkers in summer and very close to the ski lifts in winter. I had a very good room on the third floor, very clean with new plumbing and shower curtains. The bed was very comfortable. There were good views from the window. There is a lift if required, a large lounge on the first floor. The bar and dining room is on the ground floor. The food at breakfast was good and with a reasonably good choice in the evening. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff even when a few things got lost in translation. There is a very pleasant patio area at the front for drinking etc. Wifi was very good and available in all rooms.
- lotty12B (8/5): Comfortable clean courteous and stunning views. - Great location for walking in the Pyrenees.
Magnificent mountain views from the third floor bedroom.
Staff are friendly and helpful with better English than my Spanish.
Breakfasts are good, but the chef is not familiar with vegetarian diets so anticipate some compromise and repetition with evening meals.
- KellyDerbyshire (8/5): Traditional - This is a traditional mountain hotel. Lots of original features. No so much in the way of ultra modern facilities but perfectly adequate in this family run hotel. Good local food in the restaurant , helpful staff, comfortable room, excellent choices for buffet breakfast. Ideally placed for walking and touring the Spanish Pyrenees, great mountain views if you get a front facing room.
- Valhallarama (10/5): Wonderful hotel with lovely staff - We stayed here on a Collett's walking holiday and had a great time. The food is really good, and the bedrooms are comfortable but the thing that really makes this hotel special is the staff, who are lovely!
