Stephen (9/5): - Very clean. Good and original decor in public spaces. There is a lift - bonus. Reception staff were very courteous. Bar staff were friendly. Excellent location in the centre of town. Close to shops and in the same street as the theatre if you are watching a show and staying over. View from the room windows. But who cares we were only in the room for a few hours and it was dark most of that time.

Jane (3/5): Dissapointing. - The parking was easy. Barnstaple is very run down, so the location of the hotel becomes irrelevant. The music playlist in the Bank dining area was awful and unnecessary. The type of room we requested and thought we had booked, could not be provided, but we were not informed of this before our arrival. The room we were given smelt and was in a service courtyard of the hotel. Extra fees for pets were not disclosed at any time during the booking procedure.

Giles_Nicole (10/5): Hidden Gem - We have never been aware of this hotel as it is at the end of the high street, but now that we've found it, we are telling everyone....and although there are two free car parks behind the hotel, they are down a left turning off the one-way system as you drive passed the hotel. We has a lovely stay.

George (7/5): - Initially we could not find the Car Park so had to stop at the Hotel and ask; however, the Hotel was able to allocate a Disabled car park place to us (my husband has a pass, which was a bonus. Breakfasts were great with much choice. The only reason we didn't eat in the dining room for Dinner was the paucity of fish dishes (eg fish of the day or off the Boat) Our rooms were very comfortable with king size beds. Although coastal towns were relatively near given the popularity of Devon travel took a while. Interessting old town but the Pannier Market , which was highlighted to visit was a bit disappointing.l Area around the car park not very pleasant because of the bins
