Michael (10/5): Visiting Hanoi was the highlight of a multicity trip to Vietnam. - The hotel is in the heart of the city and in walking distance to most attractions including the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake which is only a few steps away. Our room was spacious, modern and clean with a balcony that looked over this bustling city. Special thanks to the lovely English speaking manager Lily and her staff who made us feel like family while helping us with all our needs. The only thing I didn’t like, in fact hated, was not being able to stay longer. Next year we will!

Melissa (9/5): Really nice hotel for the value in old town Hanoi. - On a nice block, close to good restaurants, the lake and the puppet theater. The room was spacious, updated and clean. Our ‘window’ was overlooking the lobby; so essentially no window at all from our perspective since we had to close the curtains immediately.

Trang (9/5): A comfortable stay at top location in Old Quarter - Reception staff and bellboy were friendly and helpful. My flight arrived at 2AM (5 hours delay) but checkin was smooth. A dress left behind was returned to me the next day. Breakfast had a range of fruits, pastry, noodle etc... Some hot dishes can also be ordered, e.g. pho, omelette. Some view of the Lake can be seen if standing on the balcony off the breakfast room. Pity it's obstructed by surrounding buildings. Excellent location: surrounded by eateries, 5 minutes walk to the lake. Good mattress and pillow. Safety box available in room, Super fast Wifi. Electrical outlets are hard to insert plugs in, even with the vietnamese plugs. Some outlets came off the wall and were not usable. Might not suit guests with limited mobility as access to the breakfast room on the top floor is by stairs from Level 9.

Reedy (9/5): Good option for a visit to Hanoi - Great location with access to Old Quarter and French Quarter. The staff are all lovely and were helpful with our requests (airport transfer and laundry service). Our room, whilst comfortable, didn't have an opening window so felt a bit stuffy in the heat and humidity. There is aircon in the room, though. Some breakfast items were only lukewarm, but kitchen staff were doing their best, I'm sure :)

Elisabeth (8/5): - The HM Hanoi boutique hotel is in a perfect central location in the Old Quarter of Hanoi just a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake and the water puppet theatre The reception staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean but are very worn and could do with updating. Otherwise they were comfortable. We had breakfast included in our booking but after seeing what was on offer we decided against eating there Despite all of the above I would recommend this hotel for location, value for money and the staff :)

Mark (8/5): - Reasonable hotel in a convenient location close to restaurants and tourist attractions. The place is a little cluttered. For example there is a large fridge or freezer blocking the staircase. The rooms look great in the pictures however they were a little run down when we stayed.

INWOO (9/5): 편안한 위치 깨끗한 시설 친절한 직원 - 늦은 밤 비행기 타고 귀국해야 해서 기존 호텔에서 체크 아웃하고 제일 가까운 곳에 다시 1박 예약하여 편안하게 있다가 가려고 예약한 곳입니다. 생각보다 호텔 상태가 깨끗했고, 에어컨 시설도 좋고 밖에 나갔다가 들어와서 편안하게 샤워하고 공항으로 출발 할 수 있었습니다. 금요일은 여행자 거리가 차량 통행 제한이 되서, 호텔 앞까지 그랩이 오지 못하니까, 호텔 직원이 캐리어를 들고 그랩 기사와 통화하며 택시를 무사히 탈 수 있도록 끝까지 배려 해 준 서비스는 오랫동안 기억할 것 입니다. 호텔에 아쉬웠던 건 하나도 없습니다. 다만 ,이 호텔을 ㅂ킹이나 ㅇ 고다를 이용해 예약하려는 분들은 반드시 주의하시기 바랍니다. 제가 예약했던 25년 7월 31일 현재 이 호텔의 이 룸타입 (Day Use 3 Hours - Deluxe Room)은 1박 하는 룸이 아니라 말그대로 3시간 사용할 수 있는 대실용 룸입니다. ㅇ고다나 ㅂ킹ㄷ커ㅁ을 이용해 이 호텔의 위 룸타입을 봤을 때, 위 영문으로 적힌 게 이상한데 싶으면서도 여기 아ㄱㄷ 나 부킹 사이트를 통해 예약을 진행해 봤더니, 25년 8월 1일 부터 8월 2일 까지 1박으로 예약이 진행되기에, 호텔 룸 이름은 저렇게 되어 있어도 1박이 맞는 건가 싶어서, 일단 ㅂ킹으로 예약을 했습니다. 결제는 현장 결제였구요. 그런데, 아무래도 찜찜해서 다음날 기존 호텔에서 체크아웃 하면서, 그 호텔 직원에게 여기 HM 부티크 호텔로 연락해서 사실 확인을 해 달라고 했습니다. 그러자 호텔 직원이 말해주길, 여기 룸타입은 대실용 3시간 머물 수 있는 타입이 맞다는 겁니다. 그런데, 고맙게도 기존 호텔 직원의 설명과 HM 부티크 호텔 직원의 편의로 공항으로 출발하는 8시까지 3시간 결제한 금액 그대로 추가 요금 없이 있을 수 있게 해 준다는 것이었습니다. 정말 위 2개 업체에 엄청 화가 나면서도 현지 베트남 호텔 직원들에게 참 감사한 마음이 넘치는 날 이었습니다. 3시간 짜리 룸이라고 싼 가격도 아니었기에, 추가 요금을 내라 하면 돈 조금 더주고 다른 호텔 1박짜리 잡는 것만 못할 뻔 했었는데, 아무튼, 아 ㄱ다와 ㅂ킹때문에 별 희한한 경험을 했습니다. 비슷한 룸타입을 발견하시면, 무조건 호텔 측이 기재한 룸 설명을 기준으로 삼으세요.

Tanya (9/5): Fine, small hotel with Rooftop Breakfast Room - Nice hotel in the Old Quarter. We had a very bright corner family room on the 9th floor, which was fine for us. The hotel has a rooftop area where breakfast is served. They have a range of fruit and other savoury dishes. Many dishes were lukewarm at the time we had breakfast, but they can also make fresh omelettes for you. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast buffet could be a bit hotter.

Đức (10/5): Exceptional - just got back from my stay here, and it was a great experience. The location is ideal, right near Hoan Kiem Lake, making it easy to get around. The room was spacious with a nice city view, which made relaxing there even better. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was solid, especially the pho. If you're heading to Hanoi, I'd definitely consider staying here. Everything is really fine. A good experience. Highly recommended.

She organised all our tours, airport transfers, a few pick ups and drop offs and a driver for the day to cater for a large group. The location was fantastic with plenty of shops around the area. A very short walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, which was full of activities at sunrise and a great walk around the lake. An added bonus was free breakfast! N/A
Daria (9/5): Great stay with helpful staff - The location is perfect - it is literally 200m from the lake and main attraction points on it. The streets of Hanoi old town are an attraction themselves: crowds, bikes, street food, festive decorations for new year - all is here. The room was spacious: we had a triple which was absolutely perfect for a family with one teenager kid. Food selection for breakfast is very limited, but the surrounding is full of restaurants with traditional Vietnamese dishes or adapted cuisine for tourists. The main advantage of the hotel is definitely miss Lily - one can really find a hotel manager of such hospitality and great caring. Lily helped us to arrange a cruise to Ha Long Bay and with all transfers, restaurants and further destinations bookings. A terrace overlooking the lake allowed to watch a he drone show from our room There is practically no space between the bed and the door to the bathroom - complicated access to the bathroom.

Mrsflorencegoh (10/5): A gem in old town - We chose this hotel for its high ratings and location. For this trip, we stayed in this hotel 3 times (on arrival, night before departure, and in between multi-day tours to Ninh Binh and Ban Gioc+Babe. It has a very good location in the old town, one block from the lake, surrounded by food & shopping. We were able to sleep soundly. As regards room size, it was squeezy with 2 beds but we chose this with full knowledge. Hotel room is clean and functions as it should. Hotel staff were friendly and provided good and efficient service. Lily at checkin speaks good English. We got great recommendations from her on places to change money for better rates, massage, hair salon and western style modern shopping center. For breakfast, there is mix of hot and cold food, Vietnamese and western food. On days we had early tour pickups, even though breakfast starts at 6.30am, we were not stopped from entering the dining room at 6.20am and eating whatever is ready. Kitchen and wait staff were understanding, accommodating and friendly. Hotel has affordable car transfer to the airport. Water drain off from floor trap is slow.
