Experienced sewer like smell by elevator at times and at back entrance near pool room. Back entrance landscape bit untidy with weeds and shrubbery overgrowing a bit onto sidewalk. Also noticed pet waste pick up bags thrown in flower bed. The garbage container inside near pool entrance smelled of pet waste. Maybe a trash can receptable for pet waste outside might alleviate.

There isn't much to do in this area, a short drive downtonwn to restaurants etc, I just think the price is a little high for being in the middle of nowhere. No complaints

From the front desk, through check out everything was near perfect. Staff was very cordial and helpful, rooms were extremely clean, amenities were of good quality and the towels were soft and not paper thin. If , for any reason we should return to the area, we would stay at this hotel. Beds are wonderful as well. It’s clear that the attention paid to guests has been through training and it has paid off. Kudos to you all!

The menu had been posted the day before, and it opened at 6am even on a Sunday.

I had to walk down to front desk get toilet tissue and Kleenex because it was almost empty when I checked in with no extra on hand. I extended and asked for a clean room. I was downstairs waiting 2 hours and room not cleaned. Called front desk telling them my room is still not clean. She notified housekeeping. I went back downstairs waited another 2 hours and went back up still not cleaned. I went down to front desk told her I been out waiting over 4 hours, my room still not touched. It’s almost 3pm and all the housekeeping carts were gone from the floor. So front desk clerk went to housekeeping to ask why my room wasn’t cleaned. They thought they already did it! How could they?? Omg wasted a whole day of work cause I had to sit in lobby.

So nice that they have Coffee (light, dark roasts and decaf), Hot water, Tea and Water available at all times near the Reception! Slow elevators - only 1 elevator seems to be working. Only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer for the entire place. There should be at least 3 washing machines and 3 dryers. There was a long line for the washing machine due to sports tournament and we couldn’t do our load.

It was always well stocked and the breakfast lady was friendly and always very cheerful. and helpful. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy your breakfast. Nothing

- 3UVAfans (6/5): Just ok - Convenient location. Several restaurants in walking distance. One elevator was down the whole time we were there and the second was down part of the time. Breakfast was average Hampton fare. Attendant was super sweet. Room itself was just ok. Well worn. Very small TV. Lacking night stands and just general conveniences. I think a few tweaks could make it much better!

- Biztravr (8/5): Good Stay - Spent one night for business. Staff was friendly. Typical Hampton Breakfast for added value. Rooms are clean and large. I did get a little road noise but that is due to the location. Otherwise a decent night sleep. There is a little strip mall next door so there are some options to eat within walking distance

- Scott (2/5): - We were on the top floor and there were several large stains on the ceiling when we arrived where it had been patched. That night it rained heavily and water poured through these patches. They had to come during the night and set up buckets and move our bed and change all of the bedding, as it was soaked. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, but the hotel has not been taken care of. There were other little things too- no fan in the bathroom, old carpeting, etc. I was disappointed, based on the nightly rate of the hotel.
