- Melissa (10/5): - What a quaint little town! Maintenon is a wonderful spot to visit that has this fabulous hotel. Situated right next to Chateau de Maintenon, it’s easy walking to great outdoor cafes, restaurants, and a pretty park. The hotel itself is lovely. Great staff, delicious food at the restaurant, indoor pool with outdoor lounging area, and an amazing spa.

- Celine (6/5): Piscine intérieure - Une piscine intérieure accessible uniquement de 20h à 22h le samedi et le dimanche de 8h à 10h. Entre manger et se détendre il faut choisir sinon l accès à la piscine est payant. Et quand vous avez l accès pendant deux heures, vous retrouvez tout l hôtel, il est inutile de penser pouvoir s allonger sur l un des 8 transats ! C est dommage et cela gâche un peu le séjour.

- Sophie (8/5): bel hôtel avec petit désagrément - Check in et out rapides chambre spacieuse et salle de bain très agréable nous avons eu des odeurs de cuisine le soir et matin, pas très agréable que nous avons signalées...à suivre si ils le prennent en compte. Spa et massages au top !
- KARINE (10/5): Très bien - Très bon service et pro. Dîner pas gourmand et quantités petites pour cassolettes de poisson vu le prix. Mais le chef de rang m’a offert une belle assiette de fromage pour compenser la déception. Donc je reviendrai mais les assiettes méritent mieux.

Par contre la salade caesar en room service, une réelle catastrophe: salade peu essorée, poulet brulé et sec... je ne pensais pas que c était possible de rater une salade... dommage cela entache le standing de l hôtel pour un 4* c est limite

- James (10/5): - Very nice hotel, just steps from the beautiful Chateau de Maintenon. The room was large, clean, and comfortable, with nice large windows. I had dinner and breakfast, and the food was very good. Highly recommended.

- Jean-Francois (2/5): - We booked this hotel as it had EV chargers on arrival we were informed that the chargers had all be removed and when I asked if I could connect to an electrical socket in the underground car park I was categorically told no and that there were NO EV charging facility in this hotel. When we ask to book the restaurant we were told that no food was served on Mondays. BTW there were no local restaurant opened either. All together a terrible experience.

- Sophie (8/5): Impossible de charger son véhicule électrique - Globalement l’établissement est satisfaisant, Par contre ne pas pouvoir charger notre véhicule électrique au sein de l’établissement 4 étoiles est juste incohérent. On nous a dit d’aller charger notre tesla sur la place du village. Cet aspect est à revoir …mon mari a dû la charger 2 heures sur la place du village et se relever vers 00h pour la rentrer de nouveau dans le parking de l’hôtel.
- Sandrine (8/5): Encore un agréable séjour. - 3e séjour dans cet hôtel agréable et bien situé. nous avions apprécié malgré les petits défauts et sommes revenus pour constater avec plaisir qu'ils avaient été rectifiés. On a aimé l'amabilité du personnel, à l'accueil, au bar, dans les chambres à la propreté irréprochable. On n'a pu s'empêcher de constater que la terrasse à laquelle on accède depuis la piscine n'était pas aussi bien entretenue. par ailleurs, à quoi bon afficher une politique de préservation de l'environnement concernant le linge de toilette si c'est pour changer systématiquement toutes les serviettes ?

- Steve (2/5): - Do not do business with this property. I was reserving three rooms for my traveling group however by the time I went to reserve the third room it was no longer available. I immediately called the hotel to ask if it was Ok to cancel and get a refund (non-refundable) since they could not accommodate. The man I spoke with said yes but I have to call Expedia so they can process the refund. After weeks of back and forth they eventually denied my refund. They also repeatedly pretended they couldn't speak English whenever I called. I even had my manager who is French call them. I was lied to so I do not recommend doing business with them. This kind of behavior alludes to desperate business practices so there is no telling what they might do in other circumstances. Absolutely unacceptable, rude, and not a place I will ever book again.

- CELINE (6/5): Bien mais déçu... - Lors de notre arrivée, on nous annonce que la piscine est en maintenance mais qu'elle sera ouverte le lendemain. Hors celle-ci resta fermée. Quelle déception pour nos enfants. Autrement la chambre était grande et le petit déjeuner varié. Nous sommes mitigés sur la recommandation de cet établissement.
- Elodie (10/5): Je recommande - Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cette hôtel, avec une chambre spacieuse et surtout une piscine chauffée. Le personnel est très pro et accueillant. Nous aurions voulu des gâteaux ou des crèpes fait maison au petit déjeuner mais dans l'ensemble nous somme très satisfait de notre séjour.

C'est aussi un point de départ idéal pour visiter Chartres ou Rambouillet. Le séjour fut agréable malgré plusieurs petits problèmes dans la chambre qui n'ont pas tous été réglés : télévision en panne, lavabo bouché, poubelles cassées, allumage automatique de la lumière du vestibule trop court, un jour sans ménage dans la chambre... On s'interroge aussi sur la nécessité de réserver une chambre plus grande et plus chère lorsque l'espace supplémentaire est situé dans le vestibule.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Décevant pour un 4 étoiles - Décevant pour un 4 étoiles : l'entretien des chambres et du bâtiment n'est pas à la hauteur ( porte de la chambre abimée, bout de lit usé, moisissure sur l'un des murs de la piscine, toile d'araignée). La restauration n'est également pas à la hauteur : oeuf et bacon au petit déjeuner froid, viennoiseries un peu trop cuites...

Ils étaient une des raisons de notre venue. l'indiquer ostensiblement à la réservation aurait évité la déconvenue. Le restaurant pratique des prix trop élevé par rapport à la prestation.

- Abdellah (4/5): - Un accueil neutre et basique loin d’être chaleureux, la réceptionniste s’est contentée de nous demander une pièce d’identité, une CB et la carte de la chambre, sans prendre le temps de nous partager les horaires du petit déjeuner, des soins et encore moins des loisirs aux alentours, heureusement que nous avons posé la question. Cette dernière nous a également fait comprendre que la sortie doit se faire a 11h, en respectant cet horaire nous avions patienté une 20aine de minute à la réception pour rendre la carte et payer la taxe de séjour et à notre grande surprise la facturation d’un petit déjeuner non consommé…une consommation que je n’ai pas réglé évidemment ! Je tiens toutefois à préciser et à mettre en avant la propreté de la chambre spacieuse et de la qualité du spa (piscine, Hammam, sauna) ainsi que de la promixite du château.

- FRANCOIS (4/5): - Nous pensions trouver un hôtel de charme, établissement neutre et impersonnel. Chambre côté rue triste et fade. "pas de dispo coté jardin" pourtant réservation depuis plus d'un mois… déçu

- Verified traveler (8/5): A great stay and experience...!! - Great 3 nights - very attentive staff and welcome. Particularly liked their chef catering a special meal for me as a vegetarian. Quaint town - well worth a visit and stop over.

- Nicholas (8/5): A good stopover en route to the Alps - I stayed at Castel Maintenon on my way down to the Alps. It’s about a three hour drive from Dieppe and around six hours to Geneva. I used the spa and had my evening meal in the hotel. There was a good value menu de jour - no chioce but the food was good. The room was comfortable and spacious but the air conditioning couldn’t be turned off and there was also quite a lot of ‘plumbing’ noise next to my room during the night.

- LILIANA (10/5): A peaceful and luxury stay close to the Castle - Wonderful hotel, very beautiful the warm pool and the sauna, we had a terrific time in Maintenon, peaceful and rich of cultural suggestions. The hotel is close to the wonderful castle and offers discount tickets for visiting. I will come back for sure!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was perfect and we all slept beautifully. Unfortunately there was no hotel information in the room and signage around the hotel is minimal so it was difficult to know what services were available and where to go for things.
- GT (6/5): Nice hotel - a few shortcomings - Good location and friendly staff. Let down a bit by lack of stand up shower in the room and somewhat unfinished pool area. Also we were not told we could not get food at the hotel as we had no dinner reservation and our only real option was to drive 20 mins to Chartres
- Janey (10/5): A wonderful new hotel - This brand new hotel is amazing. Our room was a triple room and it was very spacious. The bathroom was fantastic too. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast was great. The landscaping is still to be finished off but did not affect our stay one bit. We did not use the pool but it looked lovely. We got tickets from reception to visit the castle next door which has a lovely garden and walkway along the river.
