• Guy (9/5): Comfortable hotel with lovely staff in a perfect location for a Catskill holiday. - Staff were excellent throughout our stay. From the welcome on arrival to the day we left, they were always charming and willing to give helpful advice regarding the locality (walks/hikes, good restaurants, places to visit). We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed an extra night, though we had to change rooms for the third night, which was no big problem. Both the rooms were large, attractively decorated in a modern semi-rustic style, impeccably clean, and the beds comfortable. Our first room on the ground floor was a Deluxe Queen and had two Queen Size beds and a modern refurbished bathroom; the next room on the first floor (second floor in America) also had two Queen beds, and an older but good bathroom with a bath jacuzzi. The bathrooms were not large but quite adequate. The hotel has a perfect location and is within easy reach of Catskill trails and other attractions. To get started, it is well worth doing the delightful and very easy walk (the Windham Trail) accessible from the hotel grounds. There is a very good Italian restaurant just a couple of minutes away whether by car or on foot; as well as a coffee shop and delicatessen, pharmacy and store, and a gas station. Windham, which I thought was one of the most attractive Catskill towns, is close at hand by car with shops, bars and restaurants. The fireplace in the breakfast room made the convivial atmosphere very cosy and there is an outside deck offering impressive views. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the hotel pool and sauna, but we did enjoy sitting by the fire pit one evening with a bottle of wine, admiring the galaxy of stars above! My only thought was that the breakfast, which included cereals, bread, muffins, croissants, yoghurt and fruit, could perhaps have offered more variety. However, the coffee was very good and available to guests all day! Nothing else to criticise at all.

Amazing! 1/ The breakfast experience could be improved with bread and a toaster and a recycling bin should be in the kitchen; 2/ For people who do not know the area well, the website suggests that the Windham slopes ("direct access to the Windham path") are accessible from the hotel, which is not the case. Some rewording for clarity is required.

Cerca de las pistas de ski y del pueblo de Windham, un pueblito de cuento navideño, con varias opciones para la cena. El precio. Carísimo para lo que ofrecen, aun para una temporada súper alta. El hotel en sí es un 3 estrellas (no 4, ni de cerca) Si bien nuestro cuarto parecía renovado, (el baño) los muebles se ven gastados por el uso, las toallas gris oscuro (nunca visto en un hotel, uno las espera blancas) y las sábanas viejas, amarronadas por el uso y desgastadas. Otro tema el desayuno. Pobrísima la variedad y a pelearse por las únicas 2 mesas disponibles. Ofrecían pileta climatizada pero para nuestro gusto el agua estaba apenas tibia. No la pudimos usar. No tiene una zona de estar agradable. Apenas un subsuelo poco amigable que nadie usa por lo visto

The staff is very welcoming and parking is spacious and close to the property. The morning coffee was excellent! Also, very quiet and relaxing! The bathroom was old and outdated. No accessories. The screen from the balcony was stuck, we couldn’t access the balcony. No fridge in the room. The air conditioner/heater is quite noise and located towards the head while in bed.

They have an awesome free coffee machine that makes all different kinds of lattes and cappuccinos etc. We enjoy walking the Windham path every morning . The barrel sauna and indoor pool are a must! Great price, friendly staff. We also meet up with friends in Woodstock. Which is about 55 minutes away for good food and shopping. Great times!! I think the bed is a little hard to my liking

Calidad de los muffin, croissant etc y desayunar frente a la chimenea con vistas al campo Fuimos en temporada baja por lo que no había muchos huéspedes así que pudimos desayunar sentados, no hay muchas sillas por lo que en temporada alta me imagino que será complicado. Desayuno bueno pero se echa en falta algo más de variedad. El jacuzzi estaba cerrado.

• ALEXA (10/5): Perfect trip with our pup! - Our experience at Hotel Vienna was nothing short of amazing. It was our first trip bringing our dog with us and the Hotel was so pet friendly and really made Lucy feel welcomed. The breakfast was very nice and Lucy our dog was aloud in the lounge so we were able to eat with her by our side. This is a great little town to visit and we would definitely return to Hotel Vienna in the future. The rooms were very spacious and clean as well. Weather could have been better not that was not the hotels issue.

The water was not good. While we didn't mind using bottled water, we wish that we had prior notice so we could have stocked up.

• Gforce59 (7/5): Pleasant with a few exceptions. - Friendly staff and very clean hotel! My 2 complaints are - #1, the TV programing was not good. #2, asked for a working bathtub. The tub worked but did not hold water. Staff couldn't fix. That was dissapointing.
