• Isaac (2/5): - The hotel is no longer in business. We arrived at the listed address and it was not a hotel, there was not a sign, and it didn't match the picture in the email. According toa neighboring hotel it had been shut down for a while. We had to find other accommodations at a last minute, at higher price, and wait and pray for a refund.

• Serenity (2/5): hotel does not exist anymore - We showed up for our booked stay and the security officer outside let us know that the hotel doesn’t actually exist anymore. Luckily there was a holiday inn right down the street!!

It’s nearly impossible to enter the gate to the parking lot, no one answers the phone, and once we got in through help from one of the next door apartment owners, whatever employees were there told us it was no longer a hotel and they didn’t have any rooms. It’s not possible to stay here, so I don’t understand why it’s still listed on Expedia. We are trying to get our money back, but customer service can’t get ahold of the “hotel” either. What a nightmare and a scam.
• Columbia (2/5): - When our volleyball team arrived they were told that there were not rooms available for them even though rooms had been booked through Expedia. Our team had to look for another hotel at 10:30pm that night. If your hotel does not have rooms available it should not be listing rooms as available on Expedia. Very disappointing and put our team in a difficult position to find other accommodations on no notice.

• Sandra (2/5): - Had this booked for months as part of our trip. Pulled up to the door and the place is CLOSED!!!. Has become a hangout for homeless. Had to locate a different hotel last minute.
• Zhongliang (2/5): - This is a nightmare for us: 1): There has no direct public access to the front desk, since the building is shared with low income family apartment which occupied the direct public access area, pulling forward to the front desk needs to get access code to open the gate. 2): when we arrived at around 9:00 PM at night, we called the phone number listed on the fence board to get access code, but have not gotten any response, just heard the ring sound. 3): The environment looks dangerous, since there has a police car always parked at the public access area. We struggled about from 9:00 PM to 10:20 PM and finally gave up, instead, we drove to the near Holiday Inn for two nights staying. Now we are asking the Expedia to refund the charge. We have kept the phone call records and picture of the gate/fence to access the quality Inn front desk.
• Jimmy (2/5): The Quality In Tacoma-Seattle Has Been Closed - This hotel has been closed and is currently being renovated for the purpose of providing low income housing to refugee's. When I arrived for the stay I discovered that it had been closed for sometime. Hotels.com never reached out to me to notify me of this. Working with them to have my money refunded back. The lesson learned is always confirm the location you plan to stay at for future travel.

• Angelic (2/5): - The whole experience was a nightmare. We were locked out of our rooms for hours. The 1st night. The 2nd night we left early in the day and when we returned at 9 pm we couldn't access the property due to the hotel being located behind an apartment complex that is a gated community and no access code is provided to the guests. We had to spend the night in our car until someone from the apartments entered the code to let us in. The elevators smelled like straight pee and the ceiling tiles were hanging down leaking some kind of foul smelling liquid. The lobby remained closed through the weekend with no breakfast served either. When we arrived i stood in the lobby for 25 minutes before someone came out to check us in. She was wearing a dirty crop top with black yoga pants that were very much see through. Her attitude was disgusting and disrespectfully rude. The parking lot trash was over flowed majorly and spilled over all in the lot. The hallways reeked of a foul smell of drugs and urine. No ice machines anywhere. No one answered the phones ever when we called dor service or when we got locked out. The walls in the room had stains of what appeared to be a leak that occurred but wasn't properly cleaned up. When we finally were able to re access our room, tbe maids were rushing us to leave because they said the hotel had closed down.

Service at the reception was terrible and breakfast area was empty without food and when inquired about it, we were told, that's all we have. To enter to the property, you have to call the reception to open the common gate that property share with surrounding building, and they do not pick up the phone to open the gate. it was terrible, would not return to this property again. One lady in the breakfast area who is with the hotel for 10+ year was trying her best to provide proper service but with attitude of other hotel staff around her, her efforts were going in vain.

• Juan (2/5): - The girl at the counter had a terrible attitude, it took us a lot of time to get into the property, to get out was another nightmare, and the shower faucet was broken, We left the place without taking a shower because they want it me to wait until the Plomer arrive and fixe it, overall it was a bad experience.

The only place that looks like it is were you would go is locked up and the security guard randomly tells directions from his car. The door he directs you to is also locked and you have to use a side door that the front desk person points you to. However, the front desk employee was taking care of his daughter and was clearly annoyed that we were checking in. The door also wouldn’t open to our room unless we pull up on the handle. We almost walked all the way back to the lobby to tell them the key didn’t work. The front desk employee was cold, short, and clearly upset that we were there. We will never stay here again.

My room was never served for cleaning. Not even to get new towels Rooms were dirty and also restrooms outside parking lot with a lot of garbage. Just a dirty place. And staff very rude. We learned that this place is going to be closing at the end of this month. But that does not give them the right to be rude and not give the service that we paid for.

• Jeremy (2/5): Disgusting and unsafe! - This place was horrible. The automatic front door was stuck half way open. The staff didn't seem to care that I was there.The building was in extreme disrepair. They wanted to hold a damage deposit on my credit card yet the building looked like it had been through battle. It smelled musty and nasty. It took me several minutes to even figure out hot to get to the hotel because it was gated all the way around with no instructions on where to go in. I felt very gross after staying. I didn't feel safe at all.

Holes in the tile. By far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. And plus it was a $100 deposit was a surprise for sure. The pictures on the site were not just misleading, they were lies.

Very disappointed that Travelocity would have such a hotel on there listenings. My husband was excited about using the gym that was listed as an amenities and it was being used as a storage area. Elevator smelled like urine. Security doors were open and held open by large rocks. Exterior security doors were broken which made it so anyone could walk into the room hallways.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Stay Away - The woman at check-in was gracious and thorough. The room had no Kleenex, was dirty, poorly maintained, loud and unpleasant. The breakfast had no napkins or tissue of any type and an employee was not present. The neighborhood is tough.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Be aware - What i booked online is not what they put me in. The hotel is connected with some old run down hotels rooms that they turned into apartments. You uave to enter a gate to get in. The room was old and smelled like piss and had an old stove that.they called the "kitchenette" and the drawers were broken. My room was in a whole seperate building from the lobby which was so run down. I went back to complain to the front desk because this is not what I reserved online. I asked if they had any rooms available in the building where the lobby was. They was able to find me a room that was better than What I was in. The property itself is in a bad location and run down. Drug addicts all over the entrance. Overall the plus side, was the staff was friendly.

• Peggy N. (6/5): - The evening shift Af-Am male with braided hair was inhospitable. He blamed me for card key that didn’t work 2x. He said “you put it close to phone!” I brought the card key to him and he saw it on top of my leather wallet with the phone below it. To think, the key was not working even before I brought it to him. Also, the key always stays in my wallet inside the protective sleeve that comes with it. He blame me twice for the defective key. Likewise, he scolded my son who came to meet us because he forgot to leave an ID. We came to Tacoma to visit my son who is stationed at JBLM so, he run towards me when I called him and forgot about the ID. I said sorry but he said “I told you to wait!” He grab my son’s ID and slightly slam it on the counter. His tone of voice is higher than normal, like half of yelling voice every time you talk to him.

And for half of our stay, there was no Internet within the entire facility. Because we had booked several nights, it took a lot of effort to make sure that we could keep our same room and not have to switch rooms mid stay. And lastly, one of the nights someone from the front desk banged on our door to wake us up, middle of the night to check and see if our room was occupied or not. I do not plan on staying here again
• Tom (4/5): - Very confusing getting into property, security guard out front was rude YES this place needs a security guard! Very sketchy area and the building you stay in door never locks and times left open all night. Elevator smells like a homeless person sleeps in it, garbage overflowing and everywhere on walk path from lobby to rooms. Lobby pics make it look like this place is nice..NOPE! We were booked for 3 night and the gave us 1 night worth of towels and were rude when asking for more. PASS on this place
• DR. D. (2/5): - Quality Inn & Suites Tacoma-Seattle is the worst hotel I have been to in the last 30 years. No internet, no TV. It was like a prison! The only redeeming person was an African-American reception associate who went over and above the call of duty to help make the prison-like condition livable. Breakfast was good though.
• Tina (2/5): - The hotel is promoted as a Non-Smoking facility. When we finally got our room, we walked in and it smelled like someone was using cigarettes as inscents, you could see the nicotine caked onto the walls. Im 8mos pregnant. My husband has asthma. We were on a business endeavor, so we didnt take any of our luggage down bc we didnt want our suits and blazers smelling foul. When i asked if we could change our room because of the serious Health concern it imposed on both my husband and I, we werent greeted with any kind of solution &; we were basically told to suck it up bc they couldnt help us due to booking through a 3rd Party.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - Front desk was super helpful! Check in was fast. However I was unable to open my door upon check in so I had to have the front desk help. When ordering Uber(s), they kept asking me for the code for the gate which I did not have. The room wasn’t up to par - there were cracks in the bathroom, slight holes in the walls. Spiders and roaches make themselves comfortable in my room. On my second night, a family tried to enter my room. I stated that I had checked in the night before. They kept trying to say it was theirs. Eventually they said that the person at the front desk didn’t check to see if the room was occupied (obviously). Breakfast was a bit disappointing; I was expecting a full breakfast, not carbs and maybe a yogurt and bananas.
• Brie (6/5): - The staff was super friendly and attentive. The hotel itself needs some facility updates. Also our room toilet was clogged before we even used it. There was no way to get a plunger during our stay. There was also no ice in the one ice machine they had.

• Cory (6/5): - This is not a 5 Star hotel, and is in a rough area. Now that we are past that, the hotel itself is decent. The room we had was spacious, the bed was comfortable. (Soft) It had a bathtub, with shower. The A/C unit kept the room cool(albeit it was working hard). Breakfast was decent, but the room the food is served is very small, so can get pretty crowded. Overall, I would stay here again.

• Eric (6/5): Not a great area - The hotel is in a very scary area, with very little available activities (within walking distance). There was a gate and security guard, and I needed to walk through a lower-income apartment complex to reach the Quality Inn front desk. Homeless people dwelled between the hotel and the closest restaurant (which was a dirty Denny's). I requested an early check-out (I only felt comfortable staying in Downtown, or staying at the casino). I was not allowed to cancel my last day (checking out a full day early did not qualify me to get a refund for my last night's reservation.
• Wilauna (8/5): Great Budget friendly option. - We were in Tacoma for a concert and were very happy with our room. The complementary breakfast was more than just toast and cereal and the staff were very friendly. Other than not being in a super “great” neighbourhood we were happy with our stay.
• Darrel (4/5): Only because I received an Email asking my opinio. - I’m a 15 year veteran and I felt I needed at all times to be on alert not to mention nervous about my vehicle. All ice machines were broken except a small bag the front desk would hand out if asked.trash in parking lot all garbage cans over flowing. Rooms had broken walls bed and pillows were nice . A lot of yelling and cussing from different rooms also 3 cop cars search room. Neighborhood on the rough side . Two nights at a cost of $250 . Workers were nice and tried to be helpful. Cleaning staff were nice and polite. Overall I will not be staying there again.

• YEE YEW (6/5): - Booked King Size bed was given a Queen size bed in a older block. The counter person changed and moved into a premium building on the same block with the counter. The room is cleaned and right size of the bed. 5 stars to the staffs for all arrangements.

I have a hard time believing that but couldn’t do anything about it at the time. Me and the other people with me managed with some difficulty.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Smokers paradise - This hotel seems to have transitioned to long term rentals. The breakfast was terrible and you could not take it to your room. You could not escape the smell of marijuana and the hallways were actually smoky. Lots of long haul trucks were parked on the parking lot and there may have been hookers in the building. It was quiet and clean but the marijuana smell made this place not up to what I expect from a propi doing business with expedia. I love the quality inns I have stayed in and find them good value for the money. Do not be deceived by the pictures- not a great experience this time.
• Christie (2/5): - I would like to give no stars for my rating. Awful hotel with unsafe surroundings, extremely unclean. Do not stay here. This is used as a safe house for homeless and has terrible unsafe conditions for anyone traveling and looking for accommodations in the area. Terrible customer service

• Byerly (8/5): - Room was roomy and good for our one night stay for a concert. Little bit of a wait as it gets busy during the check in hour. Area surrounding hotel felt a little unsafe.
• Gayla (8/5): - Some trash in and around the property. The area around it is very run down. Many vacant buildings. Lobby good. Breakfast okay. Room minimal. Staff very agreeable.
• Cristina (6/5): - Could have done better with cleaning. The complementary soap was already used and placed back in the package. Bunch of hair on the shower curtains.
• David (4/5): - The website didn't say the property is gated, and that you have to call the front desk to let you in. I called 5 times and no one answered. A guy who live in the gated area let me in. The lady behind the desk was not friendly. The rooms needed updating, painting, and the furniture replaced. There is a Holiday Inn Express next to it. Stay there.
• Ron (8/5): - Not a bad place to stay, it was clean and the staff was friendly
• Verified traveler (2/5): - They said hot heathy breakfast was 7am-10a there was no breakfast. It was overly hot in the lobby and in the room when we checked in and took forever to cool off. Room deposit was higher than my stay at a 5 star resort lodge. Will not stay there again.
